Chapter - 110
Jacob stood in front of the large mirror in his room, adjusting the cuff of his sleeve. Tonight, he was going out with Angela, and Lily had insisted on helping him prepare. She had taken her self-assigned task seriously, rummaging through his wardrobe to pick out the perfect outfit. Eventually, she decided on a dark navy shirt that fit snugly across his broad chest, paired with a black coat and trousers. Now, she was styling his hair, standing on her tiptoes to reach the unruly locks.
"Lean down, Mr. Jacob," she commanded, holding a comb in one hand and gesturing with the other.
Jacob obliged, bending his knees so that he was eye level with her. Lily pursed her lips in concentration as she combed through his thick, dark hair, her small fingers working deftly.
"Your hair is always such a mess," she scolded. "It's because you're always wearing that weird hat of yours. You've got really nice hair, Mr. Jacob. You should take better care of it."
