Qin Wanshu once again experienced Zuo Qinghuan's overbearing logic. Could things really be this way?
Looking at Zuo Qinghuan's blatant and expectant gaze, Qin Wanshu felt troubled. Such a bold move was something she couldn't bring herself to do.
Qin Wanshu's hesitant and indecisive demeanor made Zuo Qinghuan anxious. It seemed that if she waited for Qin Wanshu to take the initiative, she would be waiting forever. Zuo Qinghuan felt a sense of grievance.
At this moment, Zuo Qinghuan was like a child who couldn't get candy, her eyes full of accusation, as if Qin Wanshu was being heartless. This made Qin Wanshu both amused and exasperated. However, she had no intention of giving in to Zuo Qinghuan's demands. She remembered that children were often spoiled, so to discipline a good child, one mostly couldn't indulge them, especially when they liked to push their luck.
Zuo Qinghuan watched as Qin Wanshu returned the teacup that had been placed near her lips to the coffee table. She drank her own tea, ignoring Zuo Qinghuan completely. Zuo Qinghuan felt like the delicious meat about to reach her mouth had flown away. Her frustrated mood was easily imaginable.
"Enjoying it all by yourself is wrong!" Zuo Qinghuan lifted Qin Wanshu's loose long hair and bit Qin Wanshu's fair neck to express her dissatisfaction with Qin Wanshu drinking tea alone and not feeding her.
Zuo Qinghuan's bite was neither too hard nor too light, carrying a slight sting and a numb sensation, causing Qin Wanshu to involuntarily shrink her neck.
Zuo Qinghuan hadn't expected the flesh on Qin Wanshu's neck to be so tender, reddening immediately, likely leaving a mark.
"Don't be noise," Qin Wanshu lightly scolded. She felt Zuo Qinghuan change from biting to sucking on her neck. The slight pain disappeared, replaced by a more intense tingling sensation. However, she knew that if she let Zuo Qinghuan continue to fool around, her neck would probably develop some marks called 'strawberries.'
Only after sucking out a beautifully shaped 'strawberry' mark did Zuo Qinghuan reluctantly leave Qin Wanshu's neck. She picked up the tea that Qin Wanshu had poured for her from the coffee table and drank it all in one go, not at all in the mood to savor the tea. Clearly, Zuo Qinghuan's mind was elsewhere.
"How about I go upstairs and play the piano for you, okay?" Qin Wanshu sensed that Zuo Qinghuan might become amorous at any moment. This feeling made her a little uneasy, so Qin Wanshu quickly tried to find something to divert Zuo Qinghuan's attention.
"There's a piano upstairs too?" Zuo Qinghuan's attention was indeed diverted by Qin Wanshu. She absolutely adored Qin Wanshu playing the piano, her elegant and charming demeanor making one completely infatuated.
"Yes." Qin Wanshu nodded, tidied up the teacups on the coffee table, then got up and walked towards the second floor of the villa with Zuo Qinghuan.
The piano room was just like the one in Qin Wanshu's home, empty and desolate. The piano was placed near the balcony. The balcony was large, and moonlight should be able to slant in through it, Zuo Qinghuan mused. Someone seemed to have a sentimental attachment to playing the piano under the moonlight.
"Should we close it?" Zuo Qinghuan asked, pulling up the large curtains on the balcony. The moon seemed quite round today, just perfect.
"Either way is fine." Qin Wanshu pulled off the cloth covering the piano.
Zuo Qinghuan turned off the lights. The villa's light-permeability design was excellent, allowing moonlight to flood in. The bright moonlight made the originally deserted air seem even more serene.
"Do you want to sit next to me?" Qin Wanshu asked.
"No, I like watching you play the piano while standing." Zuo Qinghuan chose a good spot where she could fully appreciate Qin Wanshu's elegant posture while playing.
Qin Wanshu's hands began to move, and beautiful piano music filled the air.
Pale moonlight scattered over Qin Wanshu, as if emanating from her own body. Zuo Qinghuan was somewhat mesmerized. At this moment, Qin Wanshu was like a goddess radiating light. Her delicate features, softened by the gentle moonlight, appeared even more tender, captivating and sacred, yet untouchable. Qin Wanshu always brought a sense of stunning beauty to Zuo Qinghuan, but never like now, so beautiful that her heart trembled.
Qin Wanshu's gentle gaze occasionally turned to Zuo Qinghuan. Zuo Qinghuan's otherworldly beauty, at this moment, carried an ethereal quality, a feeling that faintly stirred Qin Wanshu's heart.
Unconsciously, Zuo Qinghuan had slowly moved closer to Qin Wanshu, the desire to approach completely beyond her control.
A piece of "Moonlight Border" was soon finished. Zuo Qinghuan looked at Qin Wanshu, and after a long while, finally spoke.
"Qin Wanshu, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." Zuo Qinghuan said from the bottom of her heart.
"It's probably just 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'," Qin Wanshu said with a faint smile. Qin Wanshu felt that Zuo Qinghuan didn't care what she played; she seemed to only enjoy her appearance while playing the piano. Clearly, Zuo Qinghuan was focused on the visual, not the auditory.
"Then do you also think I am the most beautiful?" Zuo Qinghuan looked at Qin Wanshu and asked, her eyes very eager. She knew she couldn't compare to Shi Yunyang and Li Xin in beauty, but she also hoped to be the most beautiful in Qin Wanshu's heart.
"Yes." Qin Wanshu nodded.
Seeing Qin Wanshu nod, Zuo Qinghuan felt very happy. A woman pleases those who love her. Being affirmed by the person she liked was undoubtedly the most wonderful thing.
"Qin Wanshu, I really, really like you." Zuo Qinghuan sat on Qin Wanshu's lap, buried her face in Qin Wanshu's neck, and said very seriously, afraid that Qin Wanshu wouldn't know. In fact, this was already the umpteenth time Zuo Qinghuan had said this. Zuo Qinghuan felt she could never tire of saying it. Zuo Qinghuan liked to call Qin Wanshu by her full name. In her mind, the three characters "Qin Wan Shu" each represented extremely special significance. Even when reading books, seeing the character "Qin" could make her think of Qin Wanshu.
"I know." Qin Wanshu seemed to have gotten used to Zuo Qinghuan's occasional affectionate embraces. She naturally wrapped her arms around Zuo Qinghuan's waist. Qin Wanshu always replied with a gentle "I know." In fact, Qin Wanshu also loved hearing Zuo Qinghuan say this. Each time, it was like a confession and a sweet act of affection, repeatedly engraving itself in her heart, making the word "like" even more profound with each repetition.
"Qin Wanshu, I want to make love to you now." Zuo Qinghuan put her lips to Qin Wanshu's ear, and whispered as if sharing a secret. She wanted to melt Qin Wanshu into her bones and blood, or melt herself into Qin Wanshu's bones and blood, never to be separated.
Qin Wanshu's body stiffened. Zuo Qinghuan always suddenly blurted out such unrestrained words without warning, especially in such tender moments. It was truly difficult for Qin Wanshu to adapt. Or was it that she was really getting old and couldn't handle such stimulating things? At this moment, the woman in her arms was like a hot potato neither pushing her away nor not pushing her away felt right.
"Qin Wanshu, you're blushing." Zuo Qinghuan reminded her with a smile. Clearly a thirty-year-old woman, yet still so innocent, truly a rare gem. As expected, women of the abstinent type were undeveloped treasures.
Upon hearing this, Qin Wanshu's face flushed even redder. She really couldn't handle the unrestrained style. Zuo Qinghuan clearly had an ethereal, otherworldly appearance, so why did she always say such incongruous things? Zuo Qinghuan had indeed chosen the wrong name. What name couldn't she have picked, yet she chose "Qinghuan" (Light Joy)!
