Chapter 20 - Chapter 18: The Kingdom of Angels

The sea breeze at Kandora Kingdom's port was gentle, a welcome respite after the harrowing journey through the Death Route. The Shem rested securely docked, its crew bustling about to unload supplies and prepare for the next leg of their journey.

Asha stood apart from the others, leaning against the ship's railing as he gazed at the golden clouds above. The sun bathed the port in a soft glow, casting a serene light on the bustling scene. His thoughts were far away, though, carried by the wind to a place beyond sight.

"Dad," Asha whispered to the sky, clutching his pendant tightly. "Very soon, you'll be back. I promise."

A Glimpse Beyond the Mortal Plane

Far above the mortal world, beyond the reach of storms and stars, lay a realm of unmatched beauty—the Kingdom of Angels. This celestial domain floated among vast golden clouds, where majestic birds with radiant feathers soared freely. The lands were lush and green, dotted with gleaming white and gold buildings that shimmered like jewels under the heavenly light. Rivers of liquid silver flowed through the kingdom, and the air resonated with harmonious melodies that seemed to breathe life itself.

At the heart of this paradise was a towering citadel, its spires piercing the heavens. This was the seat of Uzoma, a Grade 5 angel renowned for his wisdom and strength. Clad in white robes and golden armor, his two pairs of gleaming wings stretched behind him, reflecting the divine light that illuminated the realm.

Uzoma sat in his chamber, a grand room adorned with ethereal tapestries and glowing crystals that pulsed faintly with celestial energy. Before him floated a translucent sphere, within which images of the mortal realm played out—a tapestry of past, present, and future events.

His sharp eyes scanned the sphere, taking in the plight of Nyemba and the struggles of its people. As the images shifted to the face of a young boy—Asha—Uzoma's lips curved into a thoughtful smile.

"Lord Uzoma," came a voice from the doorway.

Uzoma turned to see a tall, imposing figure enter. The man was Zuberi, a saint and Uzoma's trusted right hand. Zuberi's ebony skin gleamed under the celestial light, and his armor bore scars that told stories of battles fought and won. Once a mortal hero who had saved his homeland from devastation, Zuberi's soul had been chosen by Uzoma to ascend to sainthood.

"Zuberi," Uzoma said warmly, his voice like a soothing melody. "You bring news?"

"Yes, my lord," Zuberi replied, bowing slightly. "The demon hunter Tendaji has progressed to mastering Level 2 Angelic Aura."

Uzoma's smile widened, his wings rustling slightly in approval. "Remarkable," he said, rising from his seat. "The Almighty has truly blessed that human. Bring him in."

The Arrival of Tendaji

The double doors to the chamber opened with a low hum, and a figure stepped through. A single leg appeared first, its movement deliberate and powerful. Then Tendaji emerged, his presence commanding. Though his form was ethereal, the sheer strength emanating from him was palpable.

Clad in armor similar to Uzoma's but etched with symbols of his mortal past, Tendaji stood tall, his eyes glowing faintly with the energy of the Angelic Aura. His Zowa was no longer raw and wild—it had transformed into a refined, radiant force that seemed to pulse in harmony with the celestial realm around him.

"Tendaji," Uzoma said, spreading his arms in welcome. "You have surpassed all expectations. Welcome to my hall."

Tendaji bowed deeply, his voice resonant yet humble. "Lord Uzoma, I am grateful for your guidance. This realm has taught me more than I could have imagined."

Uzoma gestured for Tendaji to rise. "The journey of growth is never over, my friend. But you have achieved something extraordinary. Few mortals, even among the greatest, have reached the level of mastery you now possess."

Zuberi stepped forward, his expression one of pride. "You've earned your place among us, Tendaji. Your strength and resolve are unparalleled."

The Power of Angelic Aura

Uzoma extended a hand, and the sphere of visions shifted to show a vivid image of the mortal world. In the scene, demons ravaged villages, their chaotic energy spreading like a plague.

"Angelic Aura," Uzoma began, "is the mastery of harmony—not just within oneself, but with the very fabric of creation. At Level 2, you can influence nature itself, bending it to your will. The tides, the winds, even the stars—they respond to your Zowa."

Tendaji watched intently, his mind racing with possibilities.

"But remember," Uzoma continued, his tone grave, "this power is not for personal gain. It is a gift from the Almighty, to be used for balance and protection. Misuse it, and it will consume you."

Tendaji nodded, his expression solemn. "I understand, my lord. My purpose is clear—to protect my people and ensure that evil does not prevail."

---

A Foreshadowing of the Battle Ahead

Uzoma waved his hand, and the sphere shifted again. This time, it showed Asha and the team preparing for their next challenge. Uzoma's gaze softened as he studied the boy's determined face.

"Your son carries a great burden," Uzoma said. "But within him lies a potential even greater than your own. He is a beacon of hope, but also a target for darkness."

Tendaji's fists clenched at the sight of his son. "He's strong," he said firmly. "Stronger than I was at his age. But I'll do whatever it takes to protect him."

Zuberi stepped forward, his voice steady. "You will have your chance, Tendaji. The Moonstone holds the key to your return, but your son and his allies must succeed first. Until then, your training must continue."

Uzoma nodded in agreement. "Prepare yourself, Tendaji. The battle to reclaim your place in the mortal world will be unlike any you've faced before. And when you return, the fate of Nyemba will rest on your shoulders."

Tendaji's gaze hardened, his resolve unshakable. "I will be ready."

---

The Heavenly Kingdom's Blessing

As Tendaji departed to resume his training, Uzoma and Zuberi stood in silence, their eyes fixed on the sphere.

"Do you believe he will succeed?" Zuberi asked quietly.

Uzoma's wings shifted slightly as he smiled. "I do. Tendaji's strength is unmatched, and his heart is pure. But even more, I believe in the strength of those who fight for him—his son, his allies, and the people of Nyemba. Together, they will overcome."

The scene faded, leaving the celestial chamber bathed in golden light. Far below, on the sands of Kandora, Asha and his team prepared to take their next step, unaware of the divine forces watching over them and the trials that awaited.
