When the captain took off his mask and took a few breaths the sun rose fully, it was as if it was welcoming them.
Afterwards everyone took off their masks a little hesitantly in reality however their worries turned out to be unfounded and senseless.
Continuing to walk in that completely destroyed place they glimpsed the ship. Well ship was an exaggeration since it was kind of similar to an airplane but huge, the "ship" was facing with the "svafo" forward and the door to exit and enter from behind.
The "ship" was not too high nor too low, externally the "ship" was covered with light and resistant materials excellent for that type of vehicle.
Everyone got on the "ship" and were welcomed by the rest of the crew. Some of the crew wondered what had happened to the others.
With regretful expressions on the faces of some, Fia was the only one to explain followed by the captain.
Some hearing the news began to cry for the loss of their companions, some curled up on the ground shaking at that moment chaos had descended inside.
Cries could be heard everywhere throughout the ship, some of the survivors of the dungeon began to cry too.
'Weak, actually no they are strong, stronger than they seem it is a normal reaction, humans define themselves as truly strong if I can express their emotions without problems, they are weak instead if they cannot. This is a peak that is still difficult for me to reach' Fia thought with one hand in her pocket as she walked untying her hair which seemed to dance in the air.
Even though she continued to walk the cries could be heard everywhere.
Walking along the ship she arrived at the wooden door that behind it was the forge and armory, she opened it slightly, the pins of the slightly dark wooden door on the inside made a slight noise.
The dwarf with almost no hair immediately noticed Fia as he put the little finger of his hand with a black glove in his ear to clean it probably. Immediately after he removed the little finger from his ear and looked at Fia stroking his thick and well-groomed brown beard.
The old dwarf's radiant brown eyes met Fia's black eyes, the old dwarf gave a slight smile that was not seen because of his beard as he continued to smooth it.
"You're alive, huh?" The old dwarf said as he put the hammer in his belt. It was no use for Fia to open her mouth that the dwarf already understood and held out his small hand, a classic dwarf characteristic but at the same time muscular, you could see the veins.
Without hesitation Fia took out a D-grade core, it was the core of the boss they killed in the dungeon. Analyzing the core the dwarf shook his head, unfortunately the sword was not compatible with the core.
'Shit I forgot about compatibility.' Fia thought at that moment
Fia at that moment put her hand on her head, she had forgotten something important. Although weapons can be fused with anything that has the presence of mana, there was a factor to take into account.
Compatibility, a hidden statistic that allowed the weapon to fuse with materials. Usually compatibility is only with magical elements for metals there are not many problems.
Compatibility is determined by two factors.
The first is the material it is made of, each material combines well with certain materials and badly with others, even grade Z materials, although few have this characteristic, which however is ignored but not by much. In short, this statistic is dictated absolutely by the material.
Many however think that by making an alloy the material would fill the gaps, and as an old dwarven saying would say "This is where the fool hits the hammer badly" the meaning is simple, that is, that he makes a beginner's mistake even if he makes an alloy, since the alloy is another type of material the compatibility changes.
The second factor is more of a matter that is not taken care of much and is based on dwarven beliefs. According to dwarven belief the god of war Eratus and the god of the forge Vrab created a kind of contract, the contract in question was that each forged weapon "remembered" the people or beings killed, those memories then during an enhancement transformed into power to the weapon making it stronger.
'I guess my sword is not compatible with aqua element cores, I should find a fire one' Fia thinks looking at her sword that was in her belt. The old dwarf seeing Fia's thoughtful look takes out from under the large wooden counter takes out a dagger.
The dagger was simple, the hilt was T-shaped and the short blade towards the tip was slightly more pointed, it also seemed well sharpened and well cared for.
Without the old dwarf speaking Fia immediately realizes what it meant, that weapon was compatible!
For a non-blacksmith understanding if a weapon is compatible is difficult, but for a blacksmith it's child's play.
"I can give you both this but know that it is new and also fuse it with the core but the cost will be higher, we will arrive more or less..." The old dwarf takes out a sheet of yellowish and rough paper, from his belt worn in a sling where there were hammers, and various item boxes basically the basic kit I take out a black fountain pen.
Click!
A slight clicking sound was heard, but it was covered by the crying in the background, but the crying was weaker, the dwarf began to slide the fountain pen over the rough paper, as he nimbly and elegantly passed the pen the light smell of ink spread in the air but it was almost imperceptible.
"Here" said the dwarf removing the fountain pen from the paper and replacing the cap, on the paper were written several words in dwarvish and there was also a number written.
'Reasonable' Fia thought touching the rough yellowish paper, she had nothing left to do but sign the contract.
