Ethan tightened his grip on Lara's ass. Ethan used his free hand to flex his fingers. Ethan's hand changed from milky white to metal black. Lara and Lucy's eyes widened. Wendy was not privy to what was happening behind her back.
"Alas, nice leather coats you have there, guys. They must be warm when it snows in the winter."
The men touched their leather coats proudly.
"Yes, we liberated them from nobles just the other day near the city. They did not need them anymore."
The men laughed, sharing glances.
"We hope the lot of you are screamers. We love it when they scream and beg."
The werewolf lunged forward towards Ethan, and he was fast shooting past Wendy. Wendy engaged another man, her swords flashing in the purple light. Ethan could see that Wendy and Lucy had golden mist around their bodies. Lucy's shield rang like a bell as she deflected a projectile aimed at her. Golden mist flowed off her body onto the ground towards the men. Ethan shot forward, intercepting the man who was heading for him. Lara squealed as Ethan moved with incredible speed.
The sound of metal on metal rang out. There was a snapping sound, then a thud and a grunt. A sickening wet sound as a shield contacted a head. Three more thuds sounded in rapid succession. A werewolf stumbled into the forest, his body covered in sword slashes as a golden mist flowed from his wounds, flowing into Wendy's swords covered in blood. Lucy pried her shield free from the tree and the man's head. Ethan stood a few feet away. Three human hearts fell out of the air on the ground. Ethan's hand was covered in blood. Lilly spoke in his mind.
"Alas, the Skinwalker has fled."
Ethan let Lara down, her regret plain to see. He pulled off the men's coats and handed them to the ladies. The leather coats came down to their ankles. Ethan placed Zelda back in his robes, thanking her for keeping an eye on Wendy and Lucy.
"Could you carry me again? My shoes were not made for this terrain."
Ethan lifted Lara onto his hip holding her ass firmly. She placed her arm and leg in his robe. She stuck her other arm and leg between the backpack and his body. Lara lay her head on his shoulder. Wendy held the leather coats as they walked towards the village. She did not sheath her swords, ready for anything. Lucy's mist lingered until they were clear of the area. She had gathered the most resources towards regeneration.
The werewolf had died as Wendy's essence drained his life away. Ethan's hand had returned to normal as they walked. The blood fell to the ground, aided by his essence and Sophia. They walked in silence towards the wall. Wendy and Lucy quickly jumped the wall, their knee-length skirt not hindering them. Lara commented.
"They are both wearing white transparent lace panties. How interesting,"
Ethan cleared his throat. He did not want to say anything, feeling that this was a trap that women set for unsuspecting young men like himself. Lara moved in his arms, straining to get nearer to his ear.
"Do you know the colour of mine, my friend?"
Ethan swallowed loudly, sweat forming suddenly on his forehead. He would love to know but would never say it out loud. Lara laughed loudly.
"Maybe I will show you, or maybe not. You will have to wait and see."
Ethan felt like he wanted to see her panty now that she was teasing him. What should he say? Keeping quiet would give away his desire. Wendy winked at him as Lucy flared her dress when the others were not looking. Did they enjoy teasing him that much, he thought? The Inn had one door half open as the breeze outside was chilly. Heat could be felt as they neared the door.
"Carry me to the table and place me on the bench, please."
Ethan did not mind as they walked to the table where Grace and Maple were having spiced wine and talking to Penny. Ethan let Lara down on the bench. She opened her legs for him to see her underwear. Ethan's eyes widened. She had white transparent lace on. Lara swivelled into the bench, the delightful sight gone too early, to Ethan's dismay.
"Did you find the view acceptable, my friend?"
Ethan nodded his head, his eyes locked on Lara's. Ethan licked his lips. Lara blushed and then looked at Maple, who gave the two a confused look. Ethan seated himself between Wendy and Lucy as their drinks came. Wendy and Lucy bent towards Ethan.
"Hail, how will you fare in the hunt to come? Not ploughing them will be a challenge."
"Squee, you will find self-control around them will be difficult."
"Alas, you speak the truth, girls. They might be my most dangerous adversaries yet."
"Hail, they make me want to do things to them."
"Squee, I know, and I am not into those things. Unless it is with you, Wendy."
Ethan shifted his weight uncomfortably as Wendy and Lucy discussed the details. He noticed that Grace and the others were focused on the three of them.
"We told you our side effects were teasing. Can you handle the three of us in the forest for four days?"
"Alas, now that you bring up the subject, Grace. I do not know. Wendy and Lucy agree that you three are irresistible. You make us want to do things to you that should not be spoken in public."
"W-W-W, Wendy and Lucy want to do things to us as well. What could women do to women."
The three sat forward in their seats, curiosity evident on their faces. Wendy took the opportunity, whispering in their ears. The three women turned beet-red and fell silent as Wendy explained what she and Lucy usually do when with Ethan. Lara and Grace fanned themselves with their hands. Maple sat back, her hand on her chest, breathing hard. Grace spoke, her mouth full of saliva.
"We need to leave early tomorrow morning."
Grace swallowed loudly.
We need to let Thompson know about the traps that Maple had set today."
Ethan was impressed that they did not wait to act. The village had pitched in to set traps, making the place a walking death trap. The guards were being watched as they implemented their plan. Their food came with thin slices of steaming meat, fresh bread, and butter with warm, spiced wine. A soup with milk, meat, and vegetables was set on the table with bowls. Small hands came up from under the table, and tiny orange cat ears popped between Ethan's legs. Red eyes met Ethan, and a broad smile greeted him. Ethan lifted Melisa onto his knee. She looked at his plate, taking a piece of meat in her tiny hand. Melisa ate her head against Ethan's chest. Penny brought a mug of warm milk.
"Meow, Miley has been asking for you all day, Ethan. You have a way with women."
Miley's tail wrapped around his wrist.
"Squee, she is so cute, Penny."
Grace laid a map on the table as she rolled a piece of meat and stuffed it in buttered bread. Grace pointed to a spot on the map.
"The dire wolves have been spotted in this area. Livestock had been killed and taken. This is also very close to the Abyssal Forest, so the likelihood of finding monsters we have never heard of is certain."
Ethan took the map and inspected it while eating. Miley had fallen asleep on his knee, her head against his chest and her little tongue sticking out between her fangs as she slept.
"Alas, if you want to choose another monster to target and the area, we are open to suggestions. You are the experienced hunter in this realm, and I will do as you recommend party leader."
