Chapter 6 - So kind and divine.

"Such a kind presence, divine heart and compassionate soul- thou deserve just happiness"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"You disappoint me, son"Jungkook shuddered at the sudden negative embarkment from a very similar and yearned for voice as he controlled the urge to let out a heartbreaking sob for those words pierce into his heart and tears him apart."You are a fucking embarrassment to our family""I am ashamed to call you my son"Jungkook begins to run; he ran away from those words echoing through the dark, Echoes Of His Dark, as his eyes and soul desperately searched for light. He was breathing heavily, the desire and pain of being unloved by his parents surrounds him like a cocoon."It's a dream, it's a dream, it's all a dream" Jungkook pants to himself as he ran as fast as he could, justifying himself that no physical sound would come out of an absolute darkness with no evident soul around him.Yet, the darkness spoke loud and clear to Jungkook. Then he sees the light, a tiny light peeking into the darkest room Jungkook has ever been, as he desperately ran towards the light with a slight relief, slight satisfaction hitting him like a high tide when he starts to hear gentle whispers of words Jungkook cannot make out immediately. With time he could hear a soothing, yet weak voice whisper to him "it was not Jungkook's fault."Jungkook trails towards the oddly familiar voice which continued whispering to him, "I believe it never was his fault. It was not Jungkook's fault..."He sprinted into the light, which grew brighter and brighter as Jungkook approached him, which led him to the arms of a boy- the arms of his light, arms of his non existent lover."Jungkook, my dear" the boy gently whispered against his chest as he hugged Jungkook tightly. "It's okay. You are okay. You are going to be okay."Jungkook inhaled in the scent of the boy's hair, as he spooned him entirely in a bear tight hug- an action which Jungkook finds so intimate and endearing, one such action that Jungkook believes that expresses true love."I- I am a monster, Mi Amor. I don't deserve to be loved, deserve to live-""Don't say that!" His lover scolded him sternly. "You have me.""In my dreams" Jungkook whispered. "You are my dream. I am in a dream."That is when Jungkook's eyes squinted to an unfamiliar light, the light which actually pained his eyes to look, unlike the light of his lover, which was soothing and desirable. He had found himself in his bed, in his bedroom, his alarm blasting through his ears to get ready for another new day."Not just another new day" Jungkook corrected himself, for this day is going to be the day where Jungkook was planning to do one thing that he had never done before- admit his mistake, apologize and thank Jimin for saving his ass, saving his future with just a mere sentence, which just happened to be the best thing someone has ever said to Jungkook."I hope he accepts my apology" Jungkook muttered to himself before letting out a grunt, getting away from his comfortable bed to the shower....Jungkook walked through the corridors as his pouty doe eyes scanned the great halls of the campus for a certain tiny figure of Jimin crawling around the campus. The hoodie that Jimin wears would always be a little larger than Jimin's size, making Jimin look tiny in them. If anything, Jungkook had always found those hoodies cute.More like the person which the hoodie engulfs cute, but Jungkook is not willing to admit that at this moment.A part of Jungkook was expecting Jimin's absence- after all, an anxiety attack could have a bad toll on one's physical and mental health. But there Jimin was, seated in his usual seat- their seat, as his crescent eyes, the same crescent eyes which pleaded Jungkook to stop tormenting him, to let him go, to save him, help him was fixated upon a diary as his forehead was plastered with a frown as his fingers swirled around with the pen he held by his hands.Jungkook carefully approached Jimin- feeling the deja vu of the first day of his university when Jimin approached him with the same hesitation, the hesitation which Jungkook misunderstood for the fear of his anger issues.Jungkook could now make out that Jimin was anxious to approach any people in general- Jimin had never looked down at him for his anger issues."Jimin.." Jungkook called out with hesitation, this time the voice was not stern, was not threatening, yet was guilty and inviting Jimin in.Jimin shot his widened eyes to Jungkook, the pen trembling in Jimin's hands letting Jungkook know that he should be careful and delicate with his words, for Jungkook was scared to break the vulnerable boy even more."I want to apologize for what I did to you... yesterday." Jungkook shut his eyes close, not being able to bear the fright in Jimin's eyes anymore."I did not deserve your kindness. You should have let her take me to-""It's fi-ne." Jimin stopped Jungkook from speaking anymore words, making Jungkook open his closed doe eyes and throw a pout to Jimin.Though Jimin was scared, though the attack was painful, though Jimin had to stay in the hospital for hours, he still believes it was not entirely Jungkook's fault. Jungkook was dealing with something- something that he cannot control and he needs to be compassionate with him."I- It's not... entirely your fault" Jimin breathed out, taking in another deep breath. "I- I should have been mindful of your belongings and mine too.""I- I overreacted" Jungkook protested. "I am so fucking sorry, Jimin. I cannot... I really want you to know that I mean it, I-""It's fine, Jungkook" Jimin spoke with a little smile, letting go of the stutter; is he really starting to loosen up around the latter already? That smile meant everything to Jungkook, though the smile might not even be obvious if Jungkook had not been staring at Jimin's face throughout the entire conversation.Jungkook averts his gaze from Jimin, for he frights he would come off creepy, before taking the seat beside Jimin, finally, after the endless apologies.Jimin's eyes, however, did not leave Jungkook once. Jimin can't wrap himself over the fact that Jungkook bothered himself apologizing to him, for he could have been the reason Jungkook nearly got expelled from the college- his second college, to be exact.Hell, his mother threw some stinging words at Jungkook because of him.The fact that Jungkook had to go through a lot of painful words made him guilty, guilty of not being able to control his anxiety, guilty of nearly ruining Jungkook's future."You are just a pain, Park Jimin. Pain to everyone."Jimin shuts his eyes close tightly- he cannot let his inner voice berate him whilst in class. He cannot bear the embarrassment of another attack."You are so kind, Jimin" Jungkook's voice enthralls Jimin into him, pulling him out of the misery of his own self. "So beautiful."Jimin was taken aback by Jungkook's sudden comment opposing his inner voice- it was as though Jungkook had heard Jimin berating himself in his mind, speaking up just what Jimin needed to hear.He was staring at Jungkook with his crescent eyes shooting him a puppy pout, just his eyes thanking Jungkook for helping him out- though the latter had no idea what Jimin was going through.Jungkook, however, did not think very much of the healing words that escaped him as he continued staring at his draft- the draft for which he wronged the pure soul beside him as he contemplates different possibilities of where the art might take him.He noticed Jimin giving him the look- the curious look, which made Jungkook smile to himself, which of course, went unnoticed by the latter."Are you curious about my art?" Jungkook questioned, wanting to know the thoughts behind those curious eyes.Jungkook was already starting to loosen up around Jimin, the delicate presence of the boy making him feel at ease. He felt as though Jimin had been kinder to him more than anyone else- even his own parents. You cannot say the same thing about Jimin, though.Jimin was still a lot sheltered- though he was not exactly scared, not uncomfortable, yet could not exactly loosen up, either."I- I did wonder the meaning behind this piece" Jimin muttered. "I love it, though. The art.""There isn't much, really" Jungkook muttered, his eyes smiling to Jimin, for Jimin. "I just wanted to show fear. Or you could say trauma."Jimin's mouth gaped to a 'oh' knowing that he had guessed the theme right when he first saw the art piece in his bag. But Jimin knew such an art piece of magnificent details should mean more to Jungkook than just a trauma themed art piece.Jungkook looked to Jimin, his eyes searching for the reaction the information that he sent to Jimin- it was really hard to maintain a conversation with the latter.Jungkook was not complaining, though. He understands what anxiety might do to Jimin and seeks to maintain the sense of calmness in Jimin while he stays with Jungkook during those few hours of class time."I wonder" Jungkook started, though his eyes were fixated upon the manuscript . "What do you major in?""Creative writing" Jimin mutters. "Poetry."Jungkook turns his head to Jimin with wide eyes- Jimin writes poems? He loves poetry, the art of conveying simple things with so much passion elevates his soul to heaven."Is... Is there something wrong?" Jimin asks, noticing the sudden change in Jungkook's expressions."Wha- no! I just... LOVE poetries is all."Jimin was taken aback, Jungkook did definitely not seemed to be the guy who would love poetries. He assumed Jungkook probably was into something more... rougher."Shall thou be kind enough to show mine, your exquisite work?" Jungkook spoke as though he narrates a poem to Jimin. This simple, playful action made Jimin smile, a small yet genuine smile as he opened his brown diary, searching for a work that might satisfy Jungkook's standards- he does not even know what theme and style of writing Jungkook likes.Jimin is more of a romantic poet, his style being similar to that of Shakespearean poem or that of Keats'; he loves bringing the classical words and phrases, using metaphors, yet too subtle, using vivid imagery and well framed phrases.Jimin's eyes curved into a satisfied smile when he found just the right poem for Jungkook before his eyes dwelled back to Jungkook."I- I think you would like this poem" Jimin hands over the book with Jungkook with embarrassment, which doubled as Jungkook started reading his poem aloud."Is love a dream which can never be true, a cure which can never be found, an ache of life and soul, an itch of comfort, a mirage that zaps off the pain- I ch wonder, yet so hopelessly reckon against for; since mine heart hushes with the echoes of love."
