The once solemn castle halls were filled with whispers and anticipation. Princess Selina had just made the unprecedented decision to step down as ruler of Lunaris, placing the fate of the kingdom in the hands of the three strangers from another world. As her announcement echoed through the room, a new question arose—who among the three would take the throne?
Selina looked at them expectantly. "So, who will lead? I've given up the crown, but the kingdom needs a ruler."
Prem and Puneeth exchanged glances before turning their eyes to Arjun. The room fell silent as all attention shifted to him.
After a brief pause, Arjun stepped forward confidently. "I'll be the one to lead. I'll take the throne and guide Lunaris through this difficult time. But we'll need more than just one person at the top." He turned to his friends, his voice steady with determination. "Prem, you'll be the president of the kingdom. Your knowledge and experience with management will help us handle the economy—taxes, income, and trade. Puneeth, you'll be the head of the army, our warlord. Your skills in martial arts and combat will ensure our soldiers are strong and ready to defend us."
Prem and Puneeth nodded in agreement. There was no hesitation in their acceptance of the roles. It was clear they understood that this was the only way forward.
As the three stood together, a plan began to form. Rumors would be spread across the land—rumors that the once-feared Kingdom of Lunaris had been taken over by a mysterious group of three unknown heroes. This would keep potential enemies at bay for the time being, giving them time to regroup, train, and strategize. The rumors quickly spread like wildfire, and the outside world, which once saw Lunaris as an isolated and cursed land, grew cautious. No one dared attack the island after hearing of its new, enigmatic rulers.
The Training Begins
In the days that followed, Arjun, Prem, and Puneeth threw themselves into their respective roles. Puneeth, as the new army head, began training the soldiers in martial arts, a skill they had never learned before. He recognized that their magical abilities were limited compared to other kingdoms, but physical strength and strategy could give them the edge they needed. The soldiers, though initially hesitant, quickly embraced Puneeth's methods, and before long, they began to show significant improvement in their combat skills.
Meanwhile, Prem, ever meticulous, took on the task of understanding the kingdom's economy. As the vice president of the student council back on Earth, he was no stranger to organization and management. But here, the stakes were much higher. After careful observation, he noticed that the food in Lunaris was vastly different from what they were used to back home on Earth. Curious, he began to study the agriculture and food production systems of the kingdom, searching for ways to improve them.
Arjun, on the other hand, focused on mastering his dark magic. But to his frustration, there were few resources in Lunaris about dark magic. The kingdom's library was sparse, with most of its knowledge focused on elemental and light magic. Arjun realized that Lunaris was far behind the times in terms of magical knowledge. He would have to find other means to uncover the secrets of his mysterious power.
The Birth of an Idea
One evening, after hours of intense training and study, Prem gathered Arjun, Puneeth, Selina, and the kingdom's officials for a meeting. He was excited—his eyes bright with an idea that could change the course of Lunaris's future.
"I've been studying the state of our food and culture," Prem began, addressing the room. "And I've realized that there's a huge difference between the food we have here and what we know from Earth. This could be the key to reviving our kingdom's economy."
Arjun raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
Prem grinned. "Inventions. The state and economy of a kingdom rely heavily on the innovations they make. If we can introduce something new to the world—something that only Lunaris has—we can make this kingdom wealthy again. And I think we should start with food."
The room grew quiet as everyone processed what Prem was saying. Puneeth scratched his head. "So… you're saying we need to make a new kind of food and sell it to the world?"
"Exactly!" Prem exclaimed. "If we create a dish that's unique to Lunaris, using ingredients that only grow here, we'll have something no other kingdom can offer. They'll have no choice but to trade with us."
Selina looked intrigued but confused. "But what kind of food are you talking about?"
Prem smiled. "Spices. When I was studying the land, I noticed we have trees here that produce spices—something that isn't common in other kingdoms. Spices can change the taste of food completely, and if we introduce them to the world, they'll be in high demand."
Selina and the officials of Lunaris were baffled. "Spices? What are spices?" one of the officials asked, bewildered.
Prem patiently explained, describing how spices could transform the flavor of a dish, making it more desirable. To demonstrate, he prepared a simple meal using the spices he had found in the kingdom. As the aroma filled the room, the officials were astonished, their eyes wide with surprise as they tasted the dish.
"This… this is incredible!" one of them exclaimed.
Prem smiled. "Exactly. And this is just the beginning. We need to make this famous across the world. But first, we need to figure out how to export it."
Arjun, catching on to Prem's plan, leaned forward. "If we can get these spices out into the world, we can build relationships with other kingdoms through trade. But we have to be careful about who we approach first. One wrong move, and we could end up with more enemies than allies."
Selina nodded thoughtfully. "There's a kingdom to the east—Hormonia. It's known as the most peaceful nation, with friendly relations with almost every other kingdom. If we can form a trade agreement with them, it could open the doors to other kingdoms."
Prem clapped his hands, excited. "That's exactly what we need!"
Arjun immediately took charge. "We need to send a message to the king of Hormonia. Let's make arrangements to meet him and propose a trade deal."
With the decision made, they sent an official request to King Armstrom of Hormonia, requesting an audience.
At the Palace of Hormonia
Far to the east, in the grand palace of Hormonia, King Armstrom sat on his throne, reviewing letters from neighboring kingdoms. One of his advisors entered the room with a scroll in hand.
"Your Majesty, we've received a request from the new ruler of Lunaris. It seems he wishes to meet with you."
Armstrom raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Lunaris? The kingdom that's always been isolated? They have a new ruler, you say?"
"Yes, Your Majesty. A group of three has reportedly taken control of the island."
The king smiled, leaning back in his chair. "Well, well. It seems we've got ourselves some new friends—or perhaps a new threat. I wonder what kind of person this new ruler is…" His smile widened. "Make preparations for their arrival. I want to meet him myself."
The fate of Lunaris and its new rulers now hinged on the success of this critical meeting.
