Elian, with his back to goal, used his quick thinking and clever footwork to create space for himself. He turned his defender, Gergő Szabó, inside out, using his agility and speed to leave the Hungarian defender in his wake.
As Elian approached the goal, he spotted the Hungarian goalkeeper, Szilárd Papp, coming out to meet him. Elian used his cleverness and guile to chip the ball over the goalkeeper's head, but the ball sailed just over the crossbar, much to the relief of the Hungarian fans.
