You don't need to listen carefully to recognize this voice. Daiki was asking at this moment.
Even though he remained on Skypiea, ever since Abona contacted him, he had been unable to calm himself, caught between exhaustion and anxiety.
Suzu had a helpless expression on her face. She didn't know how to respond, but still stood at attention and said seriously, "Captain Daiki, Abona is still blocking the path ahead, insisting it's His Majesty's order that no one is allowed to enter the back mountain"
The Den Den Mushi displayed an urgent expression, its tiny face frowning. After a pause, the other voice came through, saying, "Pass the Den Den Mushi to Abona…"
Suzu didn't hesitate and handed the crowned Den Den Mushi to Abona, who stood calmly nearby.
"I am Abona," he said directly upon taking it.
Abona then glanced at everyone, turned around, and walked a few dozen meters toward the mountain before speaking again.
"I've left the crowd. Let's talk," Abona said, his tone calm.
"What happened?" Daiki asked.
Though he didn't fully trust Abona, he had spent the past two anxious hours on Skypiea reflecting.
Perhaps Abona wasn't as unreliable as he had once thought. Daiki understood His Majesty's strength all too well.
The question wasn't asked lightly, as only he and Abona were privy to the details of His Majesty's power.
It made sense for Anos to have contacted Abona at this critical moment.
Abona was silent for a moment, frowning as he observed the mountain square. Finally, he sighed. "It's worse than we imagined. I've never seen anything like this!"
"What did you sense?" Daiki pressed further.
"Your Majesty… it seems he has consumed two Devil Fruits," Abona replied gravely.
"What did you say?!" Daiki's shout carried through the Den Den Mushi. Though he didn't fully grasp the ramifications of such an act, he knew enough. His Majesty himself had explained the dangers of consuming two Devil Fruits, and yet… the impossible had happened.
Daiki's mind swirled with doubt as he demanded further explanation.
"I can't confirm it yet," Abona admitted, "but His Majesty appears unharmed. He seems to have fainted from exhaustion. The aura he's emitting is overwhelming so much so that I don't dare approach him. For now, it's best to wait until His Majesty awakens."
"I understand," Daiki replied, feeling a wave of relief upon hearing the king was safe.
He refrained from asking further questions, trusting that time would reveal the truth.
Following Daiki's instructions, Suzu ensured no one pressed Abona for access to the back mountain.
Over a hundred troops were now stationed around it, guarding the area to prevent anyone from entering.
Hours passed with intense vigilance. Meanwhile, on the mountain, Anos who had been unconscious began to stir. His fingers moved faintly before the nine chains behind him extended, embedding themselves evenly around the square. A blue barrier quickly formed, enveloping the entire space.
The chains detached from Anos, forming a dome-like structure resembling an umbrella.
Suspended midair, halfway between the ground and the barrier's peak, Anos lay motionless at the vortex's centre.
Within the barrier, a fierce storm brewed, ravaging the ground with torn tiles and flying debris.
Yet Anos's position remained undisturbed, untouched by the chaos around him.
Abona observed intently from a distance, trying to discern what was unfolding. The storm raged for an entire day, forcing those stationed at the mountain's base to remain on alert, ignoring hunger and fatigue. No one dared leave their post.
Despite the intensity of the storm, the barrier protected the outside world. Abona, still cautious, remarked to himself, "Even I wouldn't come out unscathed if I entered that storm."
This display reaffirmed the king's immense power. Abona had only witnessed his space-jumping ability before, but this storm was something entirely different something beyond comprehension.
Although the Tru Kingdom remained stable for now, the events on the mountain loomed large.
Anos's unprecedented consumption of two Devil Fruits and the resulting phenomenon left everyone wondering what new heights his strength would reach and at what cost.
The kingdom's operations continued smoothly, but the weight of what had transpired lingered.
The Tru Kingdom was not the grandest or most beautiful in the world, but it stood among the strongest.
Its advancements in strength and governance placed it among the global frontrunners.
For now, all Abona and the others could do was wait and hope Anos would return to consciousness, bringing clarity to the storm's mystery.
