Caleb sitting at the very back of the lecture hall, he barely gets anyone to notice him and after half an hour of waiting all the students have arrive and so the teacher
"The lecture will begin now so be quiet" The teacher said making all the students stop chattering to each other
The teacher then starts teaching the students about the monsters of the tower and also the ranks of the skills but none of it is something Caleb knows when suddenly the teacher said something that caught Caleb's attention
"But even if you all class A students surely have a very good skills don't be so lazy because of it since with the current knowledge that has been found out in the tower there are skills that can be learned and the one known right now is fireball and cleaning water so we think that it's normal skills that can be learned" The teacher said surprising Caleb and also all the students
"If that's the case doesn't that mean my skill is just like a shortcut in training?" Caleb thought sighing from disappointment
"I never thought that it could actually be quite bad, but at least a get the advantage at the start" Caleb thought trying to cheer himself up
Soon after a few hours the class ends and break time starts so Caleb and the other students walks out the classroom
Caleb then goes into the cafeteria of the school and in there Alice waiting for him at an empty table
"Hey Caleb!" Alice shouts catching Caleb's attention but also other people too
Caleb then goes to her as the others look to them with but they soon turn their gazes and Alice and Caleb starts their conversation
"Don't do that next time" Caleb sighs remembering the weird gazes directed to them before
"Alright"
"What did the teacher of your classroom taught you?" Caleb asks
"Could their be a difference to what's being taught in each classroom?" Caleb thought
"Well it's just about the monsters in the tower like the spiders and snakes found in there and we was also taught about that we can learn skills by just training" Alice said explaining the details of everything she learned
Caleb then feels good hearing that there's no unfairness in the students and soon the break time ends and the two began their way to their classroom
"Looks like in this academy treat the students as equal, but what could the Classrooms names referring to? It should represent the ranking of the students" Caleb thought while walking in the hallway that leads to his classroom
Soon he arrives at his classroom and after a few minutes another teacher arrives starting the lecture
This time the teacher starts teaching another thing Caleb hasn't known and it's the way how students will learn skills
"Learning magic type skills will need you to feel the mana of your surroundings and use your imagination for you to learn the skill while physical type skills will need you to train your body towards the path to the nature of the skill you want to learn" The teacher explained shocking Caleb that the way to learn it is actually quite detailed but he's mostly surprised to the mana that was said
"So there's mana in our surrounding but how could we feel it?" Caleb thought trying to find out how
"What if I meditate?" Caleb thought but is interrupted when be suddenly hears the teacher speak something that catches his attention
"There are two ways for learning skills as there's two types of skills currently known, the first one will be focusing on what you physically feel and try feeling the cold and sometimes hot mana in your surrounding and you can know it's mana when you don't feel pain even though you will feel the intensity of it" The teacher explained with every detail that is something not to be missed, making the students perplexed by the unique way of learning magic skills
"While on the other hand the physical skills can be learned through hardships like training with the thing you are using or enduring pain so you can make your body stronger but of course the way you are training should be towards the skill you want to learn because if not you might get another skill unrelated to the skill you want" The teacher explained more, making the students shock by the difficulty of learning physical skills
"Shocked? It's normal for all of you to be shock as right now we had only learned five skills in that way and according to the people inside the tower it's the most simplest skills" The teacher said surprising the other students but not Caleb about the word people
"People? There's people living in that tower?" One of the students asked
"How could that happen when the tower has only appeared for not so long and the monsters there that you have said are dangerous right?"
The students then continues asking more questions but soon the teacher finally starts speaking again
"Stop asking questions continuously!" The teacher shouted silencing every students in the classroom
"I cannot answer all the questions at the same time but here's the answer to the most obvious question, there's really people there and they have been there for a long time now" the teacher said
"And before any of you starts questioning why do they live there, it's currently unknown as no one answered the same question" the teacher said and suddenly looking to Caleb's eyes
"Why is he looking at me? Do i have something on my face?" Caleb thought and turning pale as the teacher is looking but after a few moments the teacher turns his gaze to the other students giving Caleb comfort
"What could be the reason he looked at me? But that's not what i should be thinking about" Caleb thought remembering something that the teacher said
"The people in the tower didn't answer the reason they are living there? Maybe i could try asking them next time" Caleb thought
