On a cloudy day, a young man is sitting in a bench at a park just minding his own business when suddenly a little girl calls him
"Hey Brother why are you here again." She sighed
"Why do you always ask when it's obvious, im just relaxing here watching the beautiful nature"
"Im gonna go back soon, so you should go back at home to mom and dad" he said
The little girl then left while the young man sat there for a few more moments before also going back
" you finally came back and just right on time since we're about to eat now. and also mom needs your help" the little girl said when he saw him
The young man is a bit puzzled why his mom needs his help so he just went to the house and when his mother saw him who was at the kitchen asked him to help her prepare the dishes faster
"Caleb help me prepare this at the table while im still cooking" his mother said
He nodded and picked up the dishes and put it at the dinner table after that he went back to the kitchen to get the other more dishes
After a few minutes they are done preparing the dishes and his mother called for his sister whose still playing outside
Soon they starts to eat and they all felt the delightful taste and in just a few minutes they have already ate all of the food and when their mother saw this she felt happy that her children is loving the foods she cooked
After that Caleb went to the kitchen so that he can wash the dishes but while doing that he suddenly hears a unfamiliar voice
"You have got a gift, the gift will soon be revealed"
Caleb was puzzled but he decided that its just nothing and just continued washing the dishes but he can't really get that voice out of his head not sure if it's real or not
He then went to his room and wonder around thinking what does it mean
"Just what really is it?, what gift?, am i hallucinating?" Caleb pondered as he was wondering
While he was still asking himself there was suddenly a loud explosion that came outside and Caleb immediately looked what is it and what he saw terrified him
The explosion came from a massive glowing blue tower and close to the blue tower was a creature that looks like a spider. 6 legs, 2 large fangs, multiple eyes, a shining skin and it's also large almost at the size of a human
"What's this?!"
"Im dreaming right?!, theres no way this is real, that tower wasn't there before" he said terrified
While Caleb is speechless a massive blue translucent game like window appeared in the sky
[Grand Countdown has began]
"What's that!? What is all of this" Caleb became more confused
"The gift has began to open"
Caleb is now sure he wasn't hallucinating with the voice from before when he hears it again
"This gift might be something that can help me survive those creatures" he said
Then he realize that his little sister and his mother might have seen this now and he imagined his sister very scared right now and rushed to her room
"Alice!"
When he opened the door to her room he saw his sister covered in blanket shaking in fear
"Alice dont be scared im here" he went close to her trying to calm her
"Brother whats going on will we be okay?" She asked
"We will so don't be scared" he said making Alice less scared
Soon their mother came inside Alice's room seeing her scared
Their mother hugged them and tells Alice to not be scared and holds her hand and after that she calm down and no longer scared
"We will go out right now, we must get away here to be safe" their mother said
They then rush towards their car to evacuate and their mother immediately started the car and starts to drive away
Caleb then opens his phone and went to the social media to see what's going but the things that he saw makes him realize that the blue tower isn't the only one but there are countless more that appeared around the world
"This is more dangerous than i imagined" he thought
He then starts to search what's the government doing hoping to find a evacuation site but he got nothing even after waiting for quite some time
During that they have also traveled far from the home and their mother is planning to go way further while there's still no evacuation site to settle
As they get further and further the vehicles is decreasing more and more as the people starts to go away
The mother then stops by at a small grocery store remembering that she forgot to get some foods before leaving the house
"Don't go out the car and wait for me" their mother said before going inside the grocery store
