I hopped on Blaze, who effortlessly navigated the trees, carrying me down while I opted out of flying. Honestly, I was feeling a bit lazy after indulging myself. Flying can be a real workout, like sprinting, and burns just as many calories.
The expressions on the elves' faces as we passed by were absolutely priceless. It would have been even better if I could enjoy their reactions in my human form, but being a bat has its downsides—only my familiars can understand me.
