Chapter 174 - Elf's Dilemma

Even though the windows and doors were closed, a gust of wind still swept through.

Damien who is startled turned around to see that, without any warning, his accomplice, Elyon, was standing there while carrying a human-sized bundle wrapped in straw mats.

So much for security.

Damien had been wondering how Elyon would deal with Thalatha, the guard standing sleeplessly at the door. Apparently, there was no need to.

"Apologies for the wait," Elyon said while lowering the writhing bundle onto the bed.

"There's no problem. I just finished earlier than expected," Damien replied. "So, is this the one?"

"Indeed."

Elyon pulled off the cloth bag covering the head of the bundle. Beneath it was the face of a breathtakingly handsome boy with blond hair, green eyes, and a striking resemblance to Elyon.

However, his face was distorted by a gag, and his eyes burned with hatred. His pointed ears unmistakably marked him as an elf.
