Damien realized that today would be his last day. Images of himself being charred by fire magic flashed in his mind.
"Don't worry, I won't put you in any danger," Theo reassured him. "Well, I'll keep it within a range that won't hurt too much, so you can relax."
Sure, he thought. He already knew that wouldn't be entirely true.
