Luz had felt exhausted after the episodes that they had just witnessed and was looking forward to spending time with her friends and loved ones as they dug into food. She got some of her favourites as she had human students coming up to wish her luck in the revolution that she could be helping to lead against the tyrant of the Boiling Isles and there were Boiling Isles residents who did so hesitatingly but most looked overwhelmed.
"Just about everyone in the Boiling isles had been raised to believe the Emperor is a benevolent figure who rescued us from the dark ages of witches in the Boiling Isles so it will take a while to come to terms with learning the truth about what he really is like. If I am being honest I am not over it especially since I had been dreaming of joining his Coven ever since I could remember but I could never look up to that man now with how he could have killed my new girlfriend." Amity told her from behind as she went side by side to her and they held hands with a smile as they went to their table and Luz put the backpack by the side as Hooty went to happily greet Amity but a glare sent him back.
There was King soon joining them followed by Willow and Gus, "So nice to get this time to breathe after what we had just saw! Still there is good here as I am rebuilding with friendship with Amity and I am so glad I that I don't have to painfully watch you be oblivious to it Luz. As I told her when we were alone in the other room, I noticed the hints that she was getting feelings for you." Willow exclaimed happily ignoring Amity's face silently pleading with her to stop speaking as Luz was looking at her in shock.
"Don't mind us; we want to eat with our baby sister and our future sister in law!" Emira said as she put her tray on the table to hug Luz and a protesting Amity as Edric took his seat and Emira sat down next to him.
"I have to say that I wonder how Mum will take to your new look Mittens..." Edric said before Emira elbowed him to keep him quiet as Amity glared at them.
"You want to take bets on whether Amity will end up banning them from attending their wedding?" Gus whispered to Willow who giggled as King got in asking if he could put in some Snails for the bet.
They tucked in but noticed there was Bump and Hal talking with Camila and there was Eda talking to Mr Park, Gilbert and Perry. "I think Luz's Mum is talking to Principal Bump and the human Principal about Luz going to Hexside and it looks like our parents have something to say with Eda." Willow pointed out as they saw Camila smiling as she said something to Eda who sighed.
"Looks like your Mums are finally sorting out their differences Luz." Edric said as the ones at the table looked towards Edric.
"No Ed is right, they are both pretty much sharing custody of you now Luz." Emira said as they took that in as the two joined them at the table.
"That was quite an end to the Season but I have opened up more to this demon place and the new friends that you have here Luz. I am a little scared of what I will see in the next one but Mija please don't worry about me forbidding you from going back to it Luz." Camila said as Luz smiled along with her friends before they spotted Lilith hesitatingly trying to find somewhere to sit as she was having looks going her way.
Luz wondered if it would be a good idea to invite her there, she had done terrible things and would have endangered her not to mention what she did to her own sister. However she seemed regretful and looked to her friends and they looked conflicted but nodded including Eda.
Luz ran up to Lilith with a smile as she motioned her to follow her to the table much to her surprise. Lilith hesitatingly walked to the table and sat down meeting the faces. Lilith sighed and said "I know... That you might not be entirely happy to see me here and I don't blame you one bit... I have done a lot of things in the Emperor's Coven that I am not proud of convinced that it was for the greater good and what we all saw how I used Luz... I won't try and excuse myself by pointing out that I hadn't yet but the fact is that I would have done, I am all sorry and understand if you don't want to forgive me." Lilith said as they gave hesitatingly nods and Lilith gulped as she noticed her student Amity glaring at her remembering how she had endangered Luz.
The twins looked like they didn't know what to say.
"But to someone who I definitely need to own up my actions to, Eda my sister... All the years wasted hunting you down and I ruined your life... I can't take any of it back but I promise you that I will do anything I can to help you from here on out. You deserve more apologies than I am capable of giving." Lilith said with tears in her eyes as she faced Eda who sighed.
"Still not happy with you and I think that I won't be for a while but give it time Lily; I am sure you will be accepted here in the Bad Girl Coven in time. Besides while you did ruin my life with the Curse, the only friend I had for years would be willing to take advantage of my Cursed state in order to take over a playground and get back at a toddler." Eda said with King laughing hesitatingly as they decided to be quiet and tucked into their food.
"So Mrs Noceda and Ms Owl Lady; since you are both Luz' Mums now do you think you will be sharing custody or will you just decide to marry eachother?" Emira asked smirking surprising the two and Luz with laughter from Gus and Willow. Amity looked away so they wouldn't see her laughter.
Lilith did no such thing as she said "why Eda, if that does end up the case I bet Raine will be heartbroken..."
Eda glared at her as Luz said suddenly "my backstory sense is tickling! Who is Raine? Any relation to Mortal Kombat?"
"Raine was the bard in school that was Eda's Grom date and ex, I really liked them as well and was saddened to hear that they broke up. I hear they are impressive in going up the chain of command in the Bard Coven." Lilith explained before Eda could shut down the conversation and glared at Lilith as she just smirked to her. "You know this human that you briefly married in that place you mentioned? Was it Vegas? Why not bring them both here and see how they react to eachother?" Lilith suggested as Eda shook her head as they found it amusing.
"We could bring them both over along with the boyfriends that Eda has had and let us have a battle royal..." King said before being bumped in the head by Eda using her staff as she was glaring at him but the others seemed taken by the idea.
Soon the viewers were done with the food and the tables and buffet disappeared and then there was Cornholio appearing dressed as Tony Montana from Scarface. "Sorry, I was just at an author's Halloween party..." Cornholio explained as everyone looked at him in confusion.
"It's Summer!" they all shouted as Cornholio sighed and then they saw the wall disappeared and there were rooms around them.
"Okay, before we go off to the next Season, I think you all deserve a rest since I know there is only so much excitement that you mortals can take! You shall have separate rooms to sleep with family members." Cornholio said as they all saw that they were now in their nightwear all of a sudden.
"Wait? You kidnapped all of us; some of us are minors and are now having us stay in your mystical place? I can't count the ways that this is wrong!" Hal shouted as Cornholio sighed looking like he wasn't in the mood for this.
"What did you expect, that I would have you all here watching 3 seasons of a cartoon in a row all in one day? Plus most of what we do is wrong! We pretty much kidnap people and force them to watch the future and sometimes the past, saying to 'fix it' with stuff they don't like or to change the future in the better. I think that I am at least better because I don't even try to hide the fact that we just do this for our own amusement most of the time!" Cornholio said agitated as some didn't look convinced. "Plus if you want to go home then I can erase your memories but for the children there and the teens' human or witch; I will make it so that you have your parents or guardians or whatever with you with them in the know? How does that sound?" Cornholio suggested and they seemed to be down for that.
"Oh! Can we share a room together, the Owl House crew and my friends! I always wanted to have a sleepover!" Luz suggested and Perry, Camila and the Parks looked like they would be alright as long as they were there. Her friends seemed to be for it as well as Cornholio looking like he was losing his patience snapped his fingers.
"There done! You are sharing an extra large room with eachother! Now You will find that you all will have your keys to your rooms! Before you ask Braxas about your father being here with Eda, I will make it so that he can't leave your room for the night. Any questions?" Cornholio asked as they all found their keys and shook their heads as they all started going to their rooms.
Luz, Eda, King, Hooty, Camila, Willow, Gus, Lilith, Amity, Edric, Emira, Mr Park, Gilbert and Perry all felt tired as they got in their room and were ready to just go to the beds in the room. They said good night to eachother and Luz, Willow and Gus seemed to be embarrassed as their parents tucked them in. King jump up onto Luz's bed as Camila kissed Luz' forehead wishing her a good night.
Amity sighed as she noticed this but then there was Camila smiling as she tucked her in and told her goodbye. "Good night Mum..." Amity whispered with a smile before realising what she had just said and was grateful that neither Luz nor Camila noticed. However her siblings noticed and shared a concerned look towards eachother.
The glance at their parents in that episode inside Willow's mind only barely scratched the surface of how terrible their parents could be...
