Chapter 1 - Boredom of the Demon King ( Fixed)

9th Level of Hell, the Throne of Anos Voldigoad, known to mortals as Oh Kang Woo. He was once a human, but his life took a sudden, cruel turn when he was dragged to Hell in the most brutal way imaginable. Through sheer cunning and formidable abilities—ones inspired by his imagination and drawn from powerful forces of other realms and anime—he rose to power. Now, he reigns supreme as the Demon King, having united all demons under his banner for millennia, ruling Hell with an unchallenged authority.

Lilith and Balrog, the most loyal subordinates of the Demon King, knelt before him, watching their mighty lord sit on his throne, a frown etched deep across his face. His eyes stared off into the distance as if even the infernal flames of Hell bored him.

Lilith, ever observant, tilted her head. "My King, are you... bored again?"

Balrog grunted, crossing his massive arms. "He has been Demon King for 10,000 years, of course he's bored. My King, should we destroy another dimension? Wage war on the other demon realms? Perhaps tear the fabric of space-time for some entertainment?"

Oh Kang Woo—Anos Voldigoad—let out a low growl, his eyes narrowing. "Destroy dimensions? Tear apart realms? You think that's fun anymore?" His voice was heavy with exasperation. "Do you know how many realms I've already conquered? It's the same thing every time! Fire, brimstone, screams, blah blah blah—I'm tired of it!"

Lilith glanced at Balrog nervously. "What would you desire, my King? Something... new, perhaps?"

Oh Kang Woo slammed his fist on the armrest of his throne, his voice booming. "I want ramen! I want kimchigae! I'm the Demon King, yet I can't even get a decent bowl of steaming hot kimchigae in this infernal pit!" His eyes flashed dangerously. "Hell's flames, endless torment, sure—but where's the food that actually makes me feel alive?"

Lilith blinked. "Kimchigae, my King? Isn't that... Earth food?"

"Yes!" Oh Kang Woo threw his hands in the air dramatically, the flames around his throne flaring in response to his growing frustration. "10,000 years ruling Hell, and do I get even a taste of Earth's food? No! I miss it—the spiciness, the flavor explosion! I can't take another bite of 'Eternal Damnation Stew!' It tastes like rocks, and frankly, I've eaten enough suffering to last several millennia!"

Lilith, trying to calm the situation, suddenly perked up with an idea. "My King, allow me to prepare a feast! A grand one, worthy of your greatness!"

Before he could protest, a procession of demons began marching into the throne room. Thousands of demons, ranging from monstrous behemoths to twisted imps, lined up in a display of what they considered the finest feast Hell had to offer. Platters piled high with grotesque offerings, and a centerpiece—a lump of gargantuan demon meat—was brought forward by the crowd, as they all chanted in unison.

"Behold, my King! The Grand Feast!" Lilith declared proudly.

Oh Kang Woo stared at the heap of flesh before him, his brow twitching. "Is that… is that a giant lump of demon meat?"

Lilith smiled nervously. "Yes, my King! The finest in all of Hell! A delicacy among our kind!"

For a long moment, there was silence. Then, Oh Kang Woo's eyes blazed with fury, and with a snap of his fingers, the entire feast was engulfed in flames. The demons shrieked and scattered as their 'masterpiece' turned to ashes.

"You bring me this garbage? This… lump of corpse?!" Oh Kang Woo roared, his voice shaking the very foundations of Hell. "I said I wanted ramen! KIMCHIGAE! Not this oversized pile of demon entrails!"

Balrog, wiping a tear from his eye, whispered to Lilith, "Maybe it wasn't the best idea after all."

Lilith, swallowing her nervousness, approached cautiously. "My King... what shall we do then?"

Oh Kang Woo's expression darkened. He stood from his throne, his towering figure casting an immense shadow over the room. "Prepare IT."

Lilith's eyes widened, realization dawning on her. "It's time, my Lord?"

Oh Kang Woo's voice was firm, resolute. "Yes. It's time. I'm leaving this wretched place."

The throne room fell into a stunned silence. Lilith and Balrog exchanged glances, unsure of what to say. As Oh Kang Woo marched out of the throne room, they followed closely behind, reaching the statues of the Seven Princes of Hell and the ancient gateway to other realms.

A figure stood before the gate, cloaked in darkness—Amon, the Black Mage, one of Hell's greatest sorcerers. He bowed his head. "My Lord, if you pour enough of your magic into the statues, it will create a gateway to another world. The gateway you seek."

Oh Kang Woo grinned darkly. "Good. I've spent long enough here. It's time for me to leave this forsaken realm."

Lilith and Balrog's faces contorted in anguish, their loyalty unshakable yet their hearts heavy. "My King!" Lilith cried, tears welling in her eyes. "You… you're leaving us?"

Balrog, his voice breaking, saluted. "My King, we have served you for millennia… don't abandon us now!"

Oh Kang Woo turned, his face impassive. "Don't cry. You'll be fine without me."

Lilith and Balrog saluted, their hearts heavy, as their King prepared to depart. Flames flickered around him, a gateway to another world forming before his very eyes. The heat of his power was enough to shake the pillars of Hell itself.

As Oh Kang Woo approached the portal, his thoughts betrayed him for a moment. I don't want to meet them again… nor return to this place ever again.

Suddenly, Lilith rushed forward, her voice desperate. "Let me join you, my Lord Anos! I will serve you wherever you go!"

Oh Kang Woo froze, remembering all too well the 'trauma' of being chased by Lilith's tentacles during one of her overly eager displays of loyalty. His face twitched with annoyance. "Nope! Not happening!"

With a swift motion, he summoned an enormous barrier, shoving Lilith back toward Hell with such force that she tumbled across the floor. He raised his middle finger and grinned. "So long, suckers!"

"Fuuuuuuucccckkkkk yyyyyoooouuuu ..." his voice echoed as he stepped into the portal.

On the other side, Oh Kang Woo found himself in a stark contrast to Hell—a cold, metallic chamber, dimly lit with glowing consoles. In the center of the room, a massive sphere hummed with energy, giving off an eerie light.

"What the hell is this place?" he muttered, looking around. The futuristic room was unlike anything he had ever seen.

Suddenly, a mechanical voice filled the chamber, echoing off the walls.

[System Alert: Intruder Detected. Conclusion: Core crack repair is impossible. Activating defense mechanism.]

From the corners of the room, bright pink lightning crackled to life, striking Oh Kang Woo from every direction. The force of the lightning brought him to his knees, his body wracked with pain. But instead of fear, a grin spread across his face, growing wider with each pulse of electricity.

"Kuhuhuhu... Ahahaha!" His laughter echoed through the chamber, loud and manic. "Not bad... not bad at all!" He clenched his fists, standing tall despite the relentless barrage of energy. "But this is the end."

With one swift motion, Oh Kang Woo leaped toward the sphere in the center of the room, his fist blazing with dark energy. He punched the core, and with a thunderous crack, the sphere shattered into pieces. The pink lightning ceased as he reached into the broken core and robbed it of something an ancient, forbidden power that had been locked away.

"Ah, this... this will do nicely," he mused as the chamber began to collapse around him.

Off-screen, darkness.

When Oh Kang Woo opened his eyes again, he found himself lying among hundreds of corpses, his body cramped and unfamiliar. The smell of death and rot filled the air. He pushed aside a limp, lifeless arm that had fallen across his chest and sat up, looking around.

"What the...?" His voice trailed off as he surveyed the gruesome scene before him—a mountain of dead bodies, piled up in the center of a dimly lit facility. They were in some kind of underground chamber, beneath a massive metal dome. Neon lights flickered above him, casting eerie shadows over the carnage.

Oh Kang Woo glanced down at himself, now inhabiting the body of a 19-year-old who had clearly died alongside the others. He flexed his hands experimentally, feeling the weak mortal form adjust to his immense demonic power.

He frowned and began to check the surrounding corpses for clues. After some examination, he found tags on several of the bodies, marked with symbols and names, all leading to one conclusion.

"Vought... Sage Grove Center..." he muttered, recognizing the infamous facility.

He stood up, dusting off the blood and grime from the dead body he now possessed, a smirk forming on his lips. "I see... this is The Boys universe, huh? Interesting..."

Oh Kang Woo stood amidst the decaying corpses, surveying the carnage around him with a growing sense of annoyance. His mind buzzed with the knowledge of his new reality, piecing together the fragments from the bodies he had examined. Suddenly, a flicker of light appeared before his eyes—a shimmering status window.

Oh Kang Woo stared at the display, his eyebrow twitching in irritation. "Level 1? What the hell is this?"

He clenched his fists, feeling the weakened state of the body he now possessed. "Downgraded? How insulting..."

His gaze fell upon the corpses that littered the floor. He could still feel the lingering essence in their dead bodies. Without hesitation, his hand extended as his Authority of Predation kicked in. The bodies disintegrated into a black mist, swirling toward him in a macabre dance as he devoured their essence.

The energy surged into him, fueling his demonic core. His lips curled into a malicious grin as he muttered, "Unknown name, huh? That won't last long..."

His senses sharpened as he realized the strange anomaly within his body—ten hearts, each pulsating with raw power. He smirked to himself, I'm gonna pull an Indura ritual... He paused for a moment, his grin widening, I'm far too good at manipulating this to my favor. Then, something caught his attention, a strange surprise. Wait... this corpse has been modified to have ten hearts? A realization hit him, making his grin even more sinister. Ahh, of course. The soul inhabiting this body—my soul—has already begun modifying it to a higher-rank demon. Fitting.

Without a second thought, Kang Woo sacrificed seven of the hearts, infusing their energy into the power he had just consumed.

A surge of dark energy enveloped him, altering his very being. With a gleam in his eyes and a grin as wide as the void, Oh Kang Woo raised his head and commanded the status window to reappear.

He looked at the new numbers, satisfied with the alterations. "That's more like it." He grinned, his pepsodent smile glowing in the dim light. Oh Kang Woo then murmured to himself, "My abilities... they're slowly returning to me, though almost everything is still sealed. Damn it."

Suddenly, his attention shifted as a strange sensation rippled across dimensions. Far away, on Earth, in a world teetering between humans and devils, another presence stirred.

In a dimly lit apartment, deep in the heart of Japan...

Makima, the Control Devil, awoke with a start. Her eyes fluttered open in the dead of night. She sat up, her gaze turning toward the window. For any ordinary human, the night sky appeared calm, undisturbed. But Makima could sense it.

The sky had been torn apart, but only beings like her could perceive the shift. Her golden eyes narrowed, and she inhaled deeply, catching a faint but unfamiliar scent carried through the fabric of reality.

"Someone's here..." she whispered to herself, her voice calm yet sharp with curiosity.

She stood slowly, her gaze fixed on the invisible rift. Whoever had done this... was unlike any entity she had encountered before.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, across the ocean, in the heart of the United States...

At the infamous Sage Grove Center, a secret meeting was underway. The room was dimly lit, with the hum of fluorescent lights buzzing overhead. Around the long table sat various high-ranking Vought executives, their expressions tense, while the woman at the head of the table, Madelyn Stillwell, was clearly agitated.

"We have a serious problem," Madelyn began, her fingers tapping on the table in irritation. "The quality of Supes we're producing is declining. Our 'experiments' at Sage Grove are creating weak, unstable assets. We can't rely on them for long-term plans."

The directors around the table exchanged uneasy glances, but none dared speak until one finally chimed in. "We're pushing the Compound V formula to its limits, Madelyn. Any further adjustments might destabilize them completely."

Madelyn shot him a piercing glare. "That's the least of our concerns." She slammed a file onto the table, the pages spilling out. "There's something far worse going on than faulty Supes."

The directors leaned in, flipping through the contents of the file. Images of grotesque creatures, twisted forms that resembled devils, stared back at them. Some were massive, towering over buildings, while others appeared more humanoid but no less terrifying.

"The devils are spawning everywhere," Madelyn continued, her voice laced with frustration. "And it's no longer just isolated incidents. It's global. People are starting to notice. And let me tell you, gentlemen, if this escalates, Vought won't be able to keep a lid on it any longer. We'll lose control, and then it's not just our assets that are at risk, but the entire organization."

One of the directors cleared his throat, adjusting his tie nervously. "What are we suggesting here? We can't compete with these... devils. How do we fight them?"

Madelyn sighed, rubbing her temples. "That's the problem. We don't have a solution. Our Supes aren't strong enough to take on these creatures. And with every day that passes, more of these devils are emerging."

Another executive leaned forward, concerned. "We need to strengthen the Supes, push Compound V even further. If we don't act soon, it won't just be the media catching wind of this... it'll be the government. And we'll lose everything."

Madelyn slammed her hand on the table, her voice sharp as a whip. "Are you fucking kidding me? Repeating the same damn thing like a bird? That's exactly what we need to do, but with some actual results—"

Suddenly, the door to the meeting room burst open, and a disheveled scientist barged in, holding a stack of files. The directors were immediately outraged.

One of them shot up from his seat, his face red with anger. "Who the hell let him in here? We're in the middle of an important discussion!"

Another director followed suit. "This better be good, or you're fired!"

Before anyone else could speak, Madelyn raised her hand, silencing the room. Her icy gaze turned to the scientist. "You have five seconds. Report something useful or you're done. Start talking."

The scientist, visibly trembling, nodded frantically. "Y-yes, ma'am. We have... results."

Madelyn's eyes narrowed. "Results. Not dialogue. Speak clearly."

The scientist took a deep breath and continued. "One of our subjects—code 7326—a 19-year-old male... we believe him to be the long-lost brother of Starlight, presumed dead after a failed Compound V bonding procedure... he's woken up."

The room fell silent. Madelyn's eyes widened, her cold composure cracking for a moment. "What did you say?"

The scientist, sensing the gravity of the situation, straightened his posture and continued, more confidently this time. "Subject 7326, ma'am. The one we thought lost—he's awake. After years in a vegetative state following a failed Compound V bonding procedure, he just... woke up. Not only that, but he consumed hundreds of the corpses piled around him using some kind of black mist effect. His vitals are stable, and initial tests suggest he could be as strong as The Seven."

Madelyn's expression shifted from surprise to intrigue. "The brother of Starlight… and now you're telling me he's alive? Not just alive, but possibly as powerful as The Seven?"

The scientist nodded quickly. "Yes, ma'am. His recovery was unprecedented. We're currently running more tests to determine the full extent of his abilities, but based on the initial readings… he's showing remarkable control over Compound V. This black mist effect—it's unlike anything we've seen before."

Madelyn leaned back in her chair, a satisfied smirk spreading across her face. "Very, very good results." She glanced around the table at the still-silent directors, her eyes gleaming. "We've been handed a miracle, gentlemen. If this boy has the potential to match or exceed The Seven, then Vought just found its answer to the devil problem."

One of the directors finally found his voice. "And... how do you suggest we proceed, Madelyn?"

She stood up from her seat, her confidence fully restored. "I want him prepped for evaluation immediately. If this power is real, we need to control it. This boy could be the key to not just holding off the devils, but to finally securing Vought's dominance. Get the labs ready, start testing his limits, and make sure Starlight has no idea what's going on."

The tension in the room shifted as one of the directors, adjusting his glasses, spoke up. "Madelyn, if I may... we should consider using Klara Singer for this. Her persuasion skills, manipulation, and charisma could bring Subject 7326 to our side far more easily. She's been... effective at molding public opinion in the past."

Madelyn's eyes flickered with disdain at the suggestion. She hated losing control, and more importantly, she disliked the idea of relying on Klara—someone who thrived on manipulating others, potentially at the expense of Vought's stability.

"No." Madelyn's voice was icy as she cut him off. "We will not use Klara for this. If we send her, there's a chance she'll twist things for her own agenda. We need loyalty. We need control."

The director opened his mouth to protest, but Madelyn raised her hand, stopping him cold. "Listen, this isn't just about persuasion or public opinion anymore. This boy could be a game-changer. I want loyalty to Vought—and there's only one person who can make sure that happens."

She paused for a moment, her gaze sweeping over the room before continuing. "Homelander."

The room fell silent once again as her words sank in.

"Homelander," Madelyn repeated. "He's the leader of The Seven, the symbol of Vought's power, and the most loyal asset we have. If Homelander convinces this boy to join us, it solidifies not only our control over him but also his integration into The Seven itself. Loyalty to Vought is non-negotiable, and Homelander is the best suited to enforce that."

One of the directors shifted uncomfortably. "But… Homelander can be unpredictable. Are you sure he's the right one to handle something like this?"

Madelyn smirked. "Homelander is unpredictable, yes. But he's also obsessed with being the strongest. If we frame this the right way, he'll see this boy as a potential rival—and that's exactly what we need to motivate him. He'll make sure Subject 7326 falls in line. We won't wait for this to spiral out of control. We need to act now."

The directors exchanged hesitant glances but slowly nodded in agreement. Madelyn's logic was sound. Homelander's pride and status as leader of The Seven gave him a unique position to influence and assert dominance over Subject 7326.

Madelyn stood up, her presence commanding. "Good. Prepare Homelander. This needs to be done immediately. Make sure he understands that loyalty to Vought comes first, no exceptions."

With the decision made, the room emptied, leaving Madelyn alone for a moment. She looked out the window, her mind already planning the next steps. Homelander would get the job done. He always did.

The room slowly emptied, the tension still hanging in the air. As the last executive exited and the door closed behind him, the lights began to shut off one by one, leaving the room bathed in shadows. For a moment, it was completely still—until a figure moved from the corner of the room, a smirk playing across his lips.

Oh Kang Woo stood where no one had seen him. He had been there the entire time, cloaked in his demonic presence ( authority of stealth ) , blending with the darkness. His eyes gleamed with amusement as he replayed the conversation in his head. Vought's desperation, their plans to use Homelander, and the arrogance that they thought they could control him—laughable.

"Homelander, huh?" Kang Woo muttered, his grin widening. "So that's the big plan?"

Suddenly, a familiar ping echoed in his mind, and a glowing system window materialized above his head.

Oh Kang Woo's grin widened as he examined the details of the quest. The title—"Being Superior is Nice"—was almost mocking in its simplicity. The system clearly understood who he was and what he stood for: dominance, control, and power beyond anyone's comprehension.

....................................................

System Quest: "Being Superior is Nice"

Objective: Defeat Homelander on the first encounter and prove your superiority in a world ruled by false gods. Demonstrate that the concept of Supes is irrelevant before your true power.

Prove superiority: By effortlessly defeating the world's most feared Supe, you show that the hierarchy of this world is meaningless. The age of Vought's control will crumble under the might of the true Demon King.

Reward: System Inventory

Hidden Reward 1: Commandment of Love (Estarossa's Commandment)

Hidden Reward 2: Commandment of Piety (Zeldris' Commandment)

....................................................

Oh Kang Woo chuckled darkly, the sound reverberating through the room like the rumble of a storm about to break. His amusement only grew as he imagined Homelander's face—filled with shock and fear—as he realized the scale of the power he was up against. Of course, he thought, the system sealed my abilities from other anime. Now my growth is mine to grind again, starting from the bottom. He sighed internally, Ahh, what a pain in the ass.

"Supes..." Kang Woo's voice dripped with menace, his eyes glowing with malevolent energy. "They dare play at being gods, but they've never known true power. They've never felt what it's like to stand before something beyond their comprehension... to face the inevitable destruction of everything they cling to."

He clenched his fist, the very air around him rippling as demonic energy surged through his body. "I will strip them of their delusions, tear their so-called superiority to shreds, and leave them groveling in the dirt, begging for mercy they don't deserve."

His gaze flickered toward the ability of the 10 Shadows. He had already tamed Mahoraga once, but with his power stripped, the ritual would need to be redone. Still, the very thought of forcing Homelander into that ritual made Kang Woo's smirk grow even wider.

"The hidden objective... fickle as always, just like my time in Hell," Kang Woo murmured to himself, his voice filled with dark amusement. "But more than enough to make this interesting."

And with that, his figure dissolved into the shadows, leaving the room in complete darkness, a chilling promise lingering in the air.

( spoiler ahead just in case you confused )

(Upon arriving in this world, Kang Woo was led to the Admin Room a central core chamber where he was immediately attacked by a defensive lightning strike. Pissed off by the hostility, Kang Woo impulsively destroyed the room's central orb, unknowingly taking something from the Gaia Core a key defense mechanism and the world's life force and severely damaged it .

Gaia's intention was to kill Kang Woo or absorb his power, but his immense strength forced Gaia to resort to a desperate measure. It transferred Kang Woo's soul into the body of Peter January to weaken and trap him. Gaia believed that Kang Woo, in this weakened state, would lose his power over time. To further distract him, Gaia created the Quest System inside Kang Woo's mind. However, Kang Woo continuously found ways to cheat the system, sacrificing his seven hearts, devouring devils, and regaining his abilities bit by bit.

Gaia's biggest fear was Kang Woo discovering that Peter January's body was a seal—a containment meant to suppress his true self. there will be more information but will be added later )
