Elena's POV
My jaw dropped immediately, was I dreaming or what. Luca had just caught me in his room. I hope am not going to die today.
"Hmm, hmm, well... Actually... I was"
I said as I moved backward slowly while he moved closer to me.
"Am listening"
He said as he inserted his hands in his pocket still moving close to me.
"Well, I... Hmm, I"
He pressed his hand on the wall and looked directly into my eyes. His masculine structured face turning me red.
"Get out"
He blasted.
"Okay"
I wasn't expecting that, but of course, haring him telling me to get out as an opportunity to escape death.
I immediately withdrawed myself from the wall and was about to go, when his masculine hand gripped my hand.
I was sweating... I was anxious... I was worried and I was scared!!!
I slowly turned to face him, looking straight at him like a rat looking at a lion.
"Since, you are here. Why don't you"
I could see straight through his eyes, he was completely drunk.
-Oh Goodness!!! That's an opportunity for me to escape death. But what does he want me to do?
He pulled me forward as my tiny body hit his hard chest. What was he doing?
He shifted my hair behind my ear, and cupped my face.
-What was this monster doing?
"You are.... Beautiful"
What!!! The monster said with lustful eyes. No, no, no... I hope it's not what I am thinking.
Oh Goodness!!! Please save me....
"You are... A damsel, a gold, a silver"
This monster has completely lost his mind.
I tried to withdraw myself, but he was too strong and he was completely drunk.
But where did he go and why did he get so drunk in such a short time.
Just as he was about to kiss me, he fell on me. He was completely different from the man I knew before. He had a lot of weight so it was so add to push him over. I tried multiple times but he was too heavy for me.
Then I looked up at his closed eyes, he was completely handsome and looked innocent. He looked like a baby, who wants his mother. I was still reading his face and emotions when I noticed he was having a very high temperature.
Oh Goodness!!! His temperature was very high. I finally managed and I withdrew myself from beneath him. Breathing so hard, I placed on the bed properly and removed his shoes.
I called Nick, 'who was actually eating' to take him to the hospital but he rejected, that his boss doesn't like hospital.
"Are you crazy..."
I said but the gaze he shot me, sent me back to my senses.
"I mean, his life could be in danger. What if he dies? He has a very high temperature"
I said trying to explain to him, but it seems he wasn't ready to listen.
"He hates hospital and you can't dictate or change that for him"
He uttered disrespectfully.
" Okay, fine then... I will just..."
I was about to turn back in but he pulled my hand.
" Where do you think you are going, you are just a witness, he is trying to use for just a short time. So, don't think of going close to him"
He pulled me away and closed the door.
" What? Have you lost your mind. I thought your boss was important to you, but you don't even want him treated. Do you want him to die" I asked starring at his cold eyes, he seems not to care about his boss's health and I wonder why.
" Listen, were did you guys go in such a short time that, he came back home drunk"
I asked him trying to read his eyes, but this guy was very tough. He is even worse than Luca, he has no expression written on his face.
"Stop asking me questions. You are not his wife. Okay"
He snapped at me.
"I am not his wife but I am his wife for this short time. So don't talk to me anyhow. You lowless bodyguard"
I shouted but the slap he gave me, sent me to the ground.
"You are getting too nosy. Stop asking questions, or you will find yourself in trouble "
He said and walked away.
Who was this guy? Was he really someone to be trusted? No, no, no. With the way he is behaving I don't trust him. I think he has some motives. But first, I need to save Luca, or he will die"
When I was sure Nick was finally gone, I went back to Luca's room and opened the door with the switch. Nick was not aware, I knew a way to open his room, which was a plus in my favor.
He slowly closed the door behind me and went to Luca. He was now shivering.
What do I do? What if he dies? It will be very good for me but something within me is telling me it's bad.
I will have to save him? Then I remembered the process my dad, always use to save me when I had fever.
I went into his luxurious bathroom and got water and a towel. I went through his closet and found the first aid kit.
Who could have believed this monster, as a first aid box in his house?
I went on and treated him with everything treatable in the box. He wasn't feeling better at all, then I remembered the way Nick behaved. What if he had posioned him?
Oh Goodness!!! I immediately did the posion therapy and to my surprise, his temperature was getting back to normal.
Now I thank my wicked stepmom, because if not for her. I won't have gotten to know about all this things.
Just as I placed my head on the wall, I fell asleep.

A sudden footsteps woke me up, as I wondered who it was. What if it was Nick? I stood up immediately, planning to hide but the conservation he was having on the phone caught my attention.
"You don't have to worry, he must have been dead by now. I used the correct doses for him"
Those words sent chills down my spine.
