Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 - 'Heine and Sisi' {part 1}

The large bird flew straight to a nearby mountain. It skimmed the trees until it found a suitable outcrop, which was already occupied with a flock of birds, and landed there. The appearance of the large bird sent the other smaller birds scattering, and the large bird perched itself on a rock in the open space.

The master stood there. His arms out open as he receives the bird that then perches itself on top of his arm. Reaching Down, the man let out a small chuckle as he read the letter that he had received. There Was no doubt in my mind that it wasn't the Same person that received the letter before, due to the roses that were at the bottom of the letter, hand-drawn no doubt.

"...."

"Ah.."

"Where did my little pet go"

The man let out a small chuckle before he then looked at the letter on its talon, noting how delicately it was tied onto the foot as if not Wanting to cause pain to the animal. Someone who cares for people deeply, must have tied this ribbon.

From the first time I saw this woman in my first lifetime around 500 years ago, I knew I'd encounter her again… Is this it? If it's the same person that we should both be under the moral laws of the God's that we should obey. After All? They were the ones who put me in this position or us.

"Hah"

"Stupid - The Divine wouldn't Do this to us"

The man, Muttered under his breath as some memories flashed before His eyes, A woman with the same appearance as The Crown Princess before his eyes, glistening like the golden sun that shone over the hot and blazing land. The one vow that they both decided to make eachother.

"We will find each other in another life right?" The woman muttered As she looked at him lovingly

"Yes - of course ewe will my dear" The man said back to her, slightly pecking her cheek with a small kiss

"Oh! Heinrey"

"We don't have To vow to each other, You know we will meet again!" The woman chuckled slightly as she held the man's face with her hands gently as she looked up at the loving and caring Gaze he had when he looked at her.

"Our fate, It's always going to drive us together"

The woman paused for a moment before she then looked up at the man as she said his name softly.

"Right? Heinrey?"

"Yes of course, how could you ever be wrong.. Amalia" The man said to the woman as he looked at her, Before gently removing her hands from his face.

Oh - How could fate be so cruel? We were destined to be together and that woman got taken away from me.

We Were like two pairs of lovebirds, one sang while the other watched and listened in awe at the first bird.

"Amalia Phia Von Jinyi" Heinrey whispered, the name now seeming quite foreign to him as he looked at the etching of the name 'Sisi' on the paper - the Same handwriting That his love had written 500 years ago.

"Why is it that?"

"One of us dies consistently and the other has to live in constant torture searching for the missing half"

Heinrey, slightly stomping his foot on the floor in the snow as he observed the letter with a candle as he cradled It near his heart, a tear slightly leaving one of his eyes as the realisation of him finally finding his missing half after centuries of years hitting him.

Glancing, at the mark on the inner corner Of his left wrist that had a moon symbol with an hourglass of time behind it that was etched into his skin, the golden sand of time slightly glowing in the dim light of the mountains.

"I'll wait for the day that we will finally meet again"

"My Love… The one jewel in the sky.. those eyes that glistened in the moonlight"

"I just hope for one moment that your able to remember how much you loved me, centuries ago in another lifetime"

"Right Amalia?"

Heinrey said As he glanced at the letter he was clutching in his hand, looking back at the bird who had diligently delivered it back to its master after flying from an unknown distance.

"If fate doesn't deem it cruel for us both to meet again"

"I won't let you escape from me in this life, That joyous smile you had on your face 500 years ago is always stuck in my mind, those sweet words we whispered to each other"

Reading The letter again to himself as he slightly wiped a small tear of hope and happiness from his eyes as he glanced at the name of the sender for the millionth time.

"I still love you - That won't change even after all this time" Heinrey, Muttered Under his breath as he wrote a reply to the letter he had received.

"..."

"!"

"Your Majesty?" Another man said as he looked at the Emperor.

"What is it? Lament?"

"Are you still thinking of her?"

"Amalia? Yes… You know i'll always hold her dear to my heart"

"You know as well as I do, what happened 500 years ago! Lament.." The Emperor said with a hint of sorrow and remorse in his voice as he remembered what happened 500 years ago and how his love was taken away from him cruelly.

"What!" Heinrey shouted as he sharply turned around to look at The Old man who hadn't aged a bit in the centuries that he had devoted himself to serving The Emperor.

"How Amalia Died, Heinrey"

"How could I forget Lament?"

"They Burned her to death when they set the house we lived in a blaze" Heinrey said With remorse in his voice as he did his best to stop the vivid memories of the fire, the torment From them would drive him insane surely.

Glancing at the inner part of his wrist, the hourglass of time slightly dropped another bit of sand as it glowed slightly.. illuminating the snowy mountains and his face with a warm and Comforting yellow glow.

"The hourglass?"

"It doesn't move does it?"

Lament, glanced at his own wrist as he looked at his own hourglass, which started Very slowly flowing with sand Again.

Lament Curtly replying to The Emperor.

"No - it usually doesn't move…"

"It hasn't for the past 500 years, Heinrey?"

The Emperor, glancing back at His loyal advisor who's been with him all through these centuries of him searching for where his 'Amalia's' soul had been reincarnated into.

"..."

With Haste, he quickly returned to the bird as he tied a reply back to the sender 'sisi' As he secured it Tightly on the talon of the bird, that was just as obedient traits master as Lament was to The Emperor.

"Go - Go and deliver this letter that I hold dear to myself back to the place you flew from" Heinrey commanded the bird as he picked it up. Then threw it into the snow That was falling from the clouds as he saw its majestic wings flap in the snow as it slightly called out.

Caahhh

As it made its way back to The Imperial Palace, making its way to the original sender of the letter.

….

"How long do we have to keep living like This Lament?"

"The hourglasses finally started flowing again, Hein"

Lament said, His voice with a small grain of hopefulness in his tone.

"Time? It's finally flowing again?" Heinrey said As he walked closer to lament as he roughly grabbed ahold of his wrist as he looked at the sand timer of the hourglass, that slightly dropped another bead of sand. Looking at his Own on his Wrist, Heinrey let out a gleeful chuckle.

"Hah"

"So it is true?"

….

"Ah! Sir!" Lament said curtly as he remembered about the new year's day celebration that The Empire of Rodwine Had always thrown

Rodwinee? The Empire that the bird flew in the direction from!"

"They're holding the annual New Year's Day Celebrations!" Lament Said with a Chuckle in his voice, who didn't want to go to a Celebration that is known to be quite grand and frivolous.

Heinrey, with a scowl across his face, looked at the companion who had accompanied him on his mission to find where his destined love had Gone for the last 500 years.

"Lament! How many times do I have to tell you, My Amalia… She wouldn't attend anything so lavish!"

"Your Majesty! You keep explaining that but please hear me Out for a moment of your time"

Heinrey, slightly rolled his eyes as he looked at Lament before he then signalled with his hand for him to continue speaking.

"The Kingdom of Rodwine has a Crown Princess"

'Crown Princess?' What's so important about that, Heinrey thought to himself as he kept listening to His Loyal companion speak, before he then mentioned key details such as.

"Some say that her beauty is quite astonishing, one that only happens every 100 years!"

"She very much looks like Amalia - from what I've heard from the envoys of Rodwine that come to us to update their supplies and Trade deals"

"How did you find this out?"

"It's simple! Heinrey! You should really listen to me and start pressing matters more and further!"

"Do you keep forgetting you're An Emperor of Jinyi! One of the most feared kingdoms, You could easily Conquer Rodwine with an army if they wronged You in a way" Lament optimistically said as he looked at The Emperor.

"You founded this kingdom with your own two hands and feet!"
