Wisebel was, as always, scheming in some dark corner.
"This humiliation... I'll never let it go unavenged!" he growled.
A nearby lackey offered a sinister idea. "If you want to deal with Ride, why not push him into the depths of a dungeon?"
"He's not stupid enough to walk right into a trap like that," Wisebel replied, still fuming.
The lackey smirked. "Then what if we eliminate his fiancée instead?"
Hearing this, I silently vowed to deal with that lackey later.
Wisebel hesitated. "Won't that put us in direct conflict with the Cakuldo family?"
"Not if we use concealment magic. With a Hide spell on her, neither guards nor bystanders will notice anything. Once she's gone, we can keep her hidden away indefinitely."
"Fine," Wisebel conceded. "Contact Baron Mime and get this done."
