Ah, an offer I'd gladly accept. If only the king weren't likely to raise a fuss about it.
"And what authority do you have to do that?"
"Right here: the Minister's order, the Knight Commander's signature, a collective statement from the nobles, and an order from the Church."
"Hmm. But you seem to be missing something from the king. Are you sure you're good to go?"
"It's fine."
"So, everyone's in agreement, huh? Great! Then let's make it official. Just write your names here, and I'll take all these orders off your hands. Since they're directed at me, it's only fair I keep them, right?"
The three of them nodded, signing the documents, and even handed over statements taking full responsibility for my "banishment." I left my Honorary Hero badge on the table and walked away.
