Marvel Universe, Earth, New York City.
As one of the five boroughs of New York City, it was strangely snowing in Manhattan, even though the weather report didn't forecast it.
But even if it was snowing across all of Manhattan, there was one apartment where the snow was more intense.
It was a high-end house, one that only wealthy people could afford.
"So that's it, I'm really in the Marvel World."
Elsa, who murmured this, was carefully watching the blue projection that had appeared in front of her an hour ago, with a smile she was trying to hide.
[Kingdom System]
[Host: Elsa Arendelle]
[Age: 23]
[Title: Queen of Arendelle]
[Kingdom Population: 11,529]
[Ability: Omega-Level Atmosphere Manipulation (Mutant Power)]
[Kingdom Points: 10,000]
It had been exactly one hour since she was reincarnated into this strange world.
It was clearly the Marvel World from what she had learned from the memories of this body, but she was Elsa Arendelle.
This didn't make any sense since it's a character from another world, but here she was.
The kingdom of Arendelle was similar to the kingdom of Wakanda, it's a hidden kingdom, but in another dimension instead.
The original Elsa had left her kingdom and came to New York just to inspect the current evolution of the outside world. The memory ended there.
Apparently, her powers were also considered mutant powers, maybe because it's the Marvel world?
"From a prisoner to a queen, what a big change."
That's right, she had been a prisoner in her last life, who would have normally spent most, if not the rest, of her life in prison.
Speaking of her past life, there's nothing she missed about it, to be honest. She had already lost the most important person to her, which led her to take revenge and end up in prison.
Even if the Marvel world is very dangerous, it's at least better, especially since she has a system and is an Omega-level mutant. She has all the weapons to protect herself in this dangerous world.
But there's one thing giving her a headache: how should she manage the relationship with the people who know the original Elsa, like her sister?
"Anyway, let's first start by stopping this snow."
Like the original Elsa, she hadn't completely mastered her powers and would cause some atmospheric changes depending on her emotions.
Even though she was inside the apartment, she could feel the snow outside as if she were there and it was touching her body.
She visualized the snowfall, not only in her apartment but all over New York. Elsa felt that it depended on her will, whether she wanted to make it more intense or make it disappear.
It was really cool having power, it made you feel as if you were invincible and everything was within your reach.
Of course, this was just a feeling. There were too many people who could instantly kill her on Earth, let alone in the whole Marvel Universe.
...
"Director, the weird snow covering New York has started dissipating and is estimated to clear up in less than five minutes."
Nick Fury, who was sitting in his office, received a message from Maria Hill and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
For normal people, it may seem like a sudden change in the atmosphere, but for him and the people at SHIELD, they knew it was very likely a superhuman phenomenon.
He asked, "Have you found the reason for the sudden change?"
Through the communication device that looked like a pager, Hill replied, "No, it's still under investigation—"
She stopped before continuing, "There's a new development, Director."
"Apparently, there's a high-end apartment in Manhattan where the snow is denser than the rest of New York, and it's also the first place where it started stopping."
Even if she wasn't in front of him, Nick nodded thoughtfully. "So, what's the most probable reason?"
Hill replied in her stoic tone, "There's an 80% chance it's caused by the awakening of a new mutant—likely an Omega-level mutant."
Fury rubbed his head at her response. Although it was what he also suspected, he hoped it was something else. His wish, unfortunately, seemed ignored by the world.
Omega-level mutants had never existed, but it was a theoretical concept proposed by Professor X, concerning mutants whose powers have infinite potential that could be recognized immediately.
Normally, mutant powers are weak when they first awaken, like the terrorist Magneto, who had difficulty bending iron when he was locked in a cage. But it didn't apply to Omega-level mutants.
It was the opposite for them, their powers were so strong that it was hard to control them at first.
Just imagine, a new mutant awakening their powers and completely changing the atmosphere of New York. What if they lost control of their powers? Wouldn't they be a walking nuclear bomb?
Fury stopped rubbing his head and sighed. "Okay, keep tracking it and find the source as soon as possible. Also, have a team ready to act at any time. We must find this mutant before anyone else, especially Magneto."
...
At her apartment, Elsa didn't know she had already attracted SHIELD's attention, or rather, she suspected some organization would notice, but didn't know which.
No, she was figuring out how to make the best use of her system. The Kingdom System, like the name implied, was a system for Kingdom Building.
It only had a few functions, and the others would be activated once she completed certain missions, though she didn't know what they were yet.
The few functions the system had included Kingdom Points gathering. A normal person was able to generate 0.5 Kingdom Points every month.
But this number would change if that person had superpowers or enough destiny. She also wasn't allowed to brainwash or use mind or soul control to get people to join her kingdom, they had to be willing.
The current 5,000 Kingdom Points were there the moment she awakened the system, likely some kind of beginner's gift.
As for the use of the Kingdom Points, there was only one function available for now, one that she had read about in novels in her previous life before going to prison: the Gacha Lottery.
The lottery was divided into different levels, and the first level required a minimum population of 10,000, who could generate the basic 5,000 Kingdom Points for the Gacha.
That's right, with the current population in her kingdom, she would only be able to do a basic lottery once every month.
