As Lepone walked through the quiet woods, soon she got to a carriage which was black with some gold patterns on it, it also had a crest resembling a demonic creature with wings, it was the carriage of the vampire royal family,as Lepone entered the carriage, inside was a mixture of gold and black and sitted on the couch was a man dressed in all black with pale white skin and jet black shoulder length hair with a pair of black eyes he was so handsome that whoever saw him will find it hard to look away but what they will never know was that he was the vampire king, Avan.
King Avan just like everyone else, has always hated the era of dragons and demons but after the era ended the supernatural realm has being under the rule of a dragon, which irks him a lot, he has always seeked power just like his father the former king of vampires who broke the seal to the underworld but never ruled the realms like he wanted and died in the hands of a demon the day he broke the seal.
Your majesty. Lepone bowed slightly but it felt more like mockery to him.
Did you get it immortal Lepone? Avan asked not daring to be too arrogant since Lepone was an immortal and he was nothing but a vampire.
Yes your majesty, or let me just call you Avan since your name more is simply to remember. Lepone said with a smirk.
Avan clenched his fist but didn't dare lash out at Lepone. Immortal Lepone is one of the people who dare to call my name without formalities. Avan said with a fake smile.
Oh please Avan you of all people know I hate being called an immortal.
But you were once an immortal. Avan said with a raised eyebrow.
Not anymore, after all I betrayed the gods so am literally being called a traitorup there. Lepone said shrugging her shoulders. So call me Lady Lepone with respect or you might actually see how beautiful the sun rise is. Lepone threatened Avan.
Lady Lepone forgive me for my tone. Avan said with fear.
Good leech, tell the coach man we are ready. Lepone said with a smile.
Avan nodded before jiggling the small bell close to him then the carriage started moving.
Where is the choas pearl? Let me see it Lady Lepone. Avan said to Lepone.
Because you asked nicely, I will show you. Lepone said as she picked up a black box close to her, opened it reveling a silk black cloth, on it layed the choas pearl. Avan who was mesmerized by it's beauty reached out to touch it.
I wouldn't touch it if I were you. Lepone warned him but he didn't listen he felt like an invincible force was pulling him to touch the choas pearl, as soon as the tip on his finger touched the chaos pearl his blood red lips turned purple,his pale skin became dry and his jet black hair lost it's luster looking like his life was being sucked out of him pulling back his hand, he closed his eyes to catch his breathe, opening his eyes he looked at his hand and saw the skin from his finger tip to his plam had peeled off only his bones was visible. Then he heard Lepone's mocking voice.
I did warn you not to touch it, so I can't be blamed. Lepone said while laughing.
H...how come. Avan asked with a weak voice.
It's simple you're not worthy of handling the choas pearl so it was draining your life. Lepone explained to the dumbfounded Avan. Only the one's worthy of the choas pearl can handle it's power and it's definitely not you. Lepone said in a mocking tone while laughing.
Avan looked at her with anger but couldn't do anything for fear of Lepone leaving to die under the sun.
Hurry up and tell the coach man to get you a human, I don't want a dead vampire in here with me.
Jiggling the bell, the carriage came to a halt, opening the door the coach man who was also a vampire was shocked to see what had become of his king , he looked at Lepone thinking it was her who did it.
Stop looking at her and go get me a human. Avan said in a voice that was bearly audible but was still heard by the coach man.
Yes your majesty. The coach man replied then left quickly in fear of Lepone doing the same thing he thought she did to Avan.
Well what a misunderstanding, and he was so cute, he looked bearly two hundred, so young. Lepone said to herself.
What about the heavenly pearl? Avan said pretending he didn't hear her comment about the coach man.
What about it? Lepone asked back.
I heard it gives life. Avan said.
It's not useful to us the only useful thing is the choas pearl. Lepone said looking out the window.
And the other immortal? Avan asked.
You mean Vard, he can't do anything to us, he can't return to heaven because he didn't accomplish his task and may not survive. Lepone replied without any concern.
Don't you care? Avan asked. I heard you two grew up together, so, don't you care.
It was his ignorance to the obvious that made him turn out this way, so it's non of my concern. Lepone said looking at Avan's face.
I don't know how someone with your heart ascended to heaven. Avan said.
It didn't take long for the coach man to come back with a human. All that could be heard was the screams of a human, soon the door of the carriage opened and the dead body of the human was kicked out.
Go. Avan voice rang out, soon the carriage started moving again disappearing into the darkness.
