"No, I didn't try to seduce you in your sleep," Sofia protested, trying to squirm out from under Liam's weight. "I accidentally fell."
Liam's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing as he stared at Sofia. "Save it," he said, his voice low and husky. "I know what I felt."
Sofia's face flushed bright red as Liam's words sent a shiver down her spine. She tried to push him away, but Liam's grip on her arms only tightened.
"Let me go," Sofia demanded, trying to struggle free.
But Liam just leaned in closer, his lips inches from Sofia's. "Not until you tell me the truth," he whispered, his breath caressing Sofia's skin.
Sofia's heart was racing as she looked up at Liam, her eyes locked onto his. She could feel the tension between them, the air thick with unspoken emotions.
"What truth?" Sofia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Liam's eyes seemed to bore into Sofia's soul, as if searching for something. "The truth about how you feel," he said, his voice low and husky.
Sofia's face flushed bright red as she looked away, trying to avoid Liam's piercing gaze. But Liam's fingers grasped her chin, forcing her to look back at him.
"Tell me," Liam demanded, his eyes burning with intensity.
Sofia's eyes locked onto Liam's, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt like she was drowning in the depths of his gaze.
"I...I don't know what you're talking about," Sofia stuttered, trying to break free from Liam's grasp.
But Liam's fingers only tightened around her chin, his eyes blazing with intensity. "Don't lie to me, Sofia," he whispered, his breath caressing her skin. "I can see it in your eyes. You want me."
Sofia's face burned with shame and desire, her heart racing with excitement. She tried to look away, but Liam's gaze held her captive.
"Yes," Sofia whispered finally, her voice barely audible. "I want you."
Liam's eyes seemed to gleam with triumph as he heard Sofia's whispered admission. He leaned in closer, his lips inches from Sofia's.
"I want you in the past," Liam whispered, his breath sending shivers down Sofia's spine. "I've always wanted you, little devil."
Sofia's heart skipped a beat as Liam's words sent a rush of excitement through her veins. She felt like she was melting into his gaze, her body responding to his proximity.
Just as Liam's lips were about to touch Sofia's, a loud knock at the door broke the spell. Liam's head jerked up, his eyes narrowing in annoyance.
"Who is it?" Liam called out, his voice firm and commanding.
"hey man, it's Vadal," a voice replied from the other side of the door. "I brought the medic to treat your neglected wound."
Liam's gaze lingered on Sofia's face for a moment before he nodded and sat up, his movements fluid and controlled.
"Come in," Liam called out, his voice calm and collected.
As the door opened and Vadal entered with medicine in his hand. Sofia felt like she was waking up from a dream. She sat up, her heart still racing from the intensity of the moment she had shared with Liam.
Vadal's eyes sparkled with amusement as he gazed at Sofia's crimson face. "Sorry to interrupt," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Sister-in-law, why is your face so red?"
Sofia buried her face in the bed, mortified. "Nothing... maybe it's because of the weather."
Vadal nodded, a knowing glint in his eye. He didn't press the matter, aware that some things were better left unsaid.
Instead, he handed Sofia a stack of medicine and began to explain how to administer them. "These pills will help with the pain and inflammation. Take two every four hours. This ointment will promote healing and prevent infection. Apply it twice a day."
Sofia nodded, taking the medicine from Vadal. He handed her another small bottle. "This cream will help reduce scarring. Apply it once a day, after the wound has healed."
Vadal glanced at Liam, his expression stern. He checked the wound, his fingers probing the edges. Liam stared at him with a killing intent, his eyes cold and hard.
Without a word, Vadal turned and run away leaving the room, leaving Sofia and Liam alone once more. The tension between them was palpable, the air thick with unspoken emotions.
As soon as Vadal left, Liam's gaze shifted to Sofia, his eyes still cold and hard. Sofia felt a shiver run down her spine as she met his gaze, her heart racing with anticipation.
"What were you thinking, Sofia?" Liam asked, his voice low and husky. "Trying to seduce me while I was unconscious?"
Sofia's face flushed bright red as she looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. "I wasn't trying to seduce you," she protested. "I just fell."
Liam's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "Don't lie to me, Sofia," he whispered. "I know what I felt. And I know what you want."
Sofia's expression turned determined as she held out the medicine. "Let's forget about what happened earlier. You need to take this medicine and get some rest."
Liam's gaze didn't waver, his eyes flashing with defiance. "I'm not taking it," he said, his voice firm.
Sofia's eyes narrowed, her jaw setting in determination. She tried to coax him, using her most persuasive tone. "Liam, please. It's just a little medicine. It will help you heal faster."
" No, Liam refused to budge, his arms crossed over his chest. Sofia tried a different tactic, attempting to reason with him. "If you don't take the medicine, your wound might get infected. Is that what you want?"
Liam's expression didn't change, his eyes still flashing with defiance. Sofia sighed, trying a more physical approach. I will false it into your mouth trying to pry open Liam's mouth, but he clenched his jaw shut, refusing to let her in.
Undeterred, Sofia tried to sneak the medicine into Liam's drink, but he caught her and knocked the glass out of her hand. The liquid spilled all over the floor, and Sofia let out a frustrated sigh wiping the floor.
She tried hiding the medicine in his food, but Liam detected it and pushed the plate away refusing to eat. Sofia attempted to mix the medicine with his favorite dessert, but Liam saw right through her plan.
As the hours passed, Sofia grew more and more desperate. She had never seen Liam so stubborn, and she didn't know how to reach him. Despite her best efforts, Liam refused to take the medicine, and Sofia was at her wit's end.
"You must take your medicine, whether you want it or not," Sofia said, her eyes flashing with determination. She put the medicine in her mouth and pinned Liam to the bed, climbing on top of him.
Liam's eyes widened in surprise as Sofia sealed his lips with hers, forcing the medicine into his mouth. Liam's initial resistance slowly gave way, his lips parting slightly as Sofia's tongue touched his.
The medicine slipped down his throat, and Sofia pulled back, her chest heaving with exertion.
For a moment, the two just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable. Then, without warning, Liam's eyes flashed with anger, and he flipped Sofia onto her back, pinning her to the bed.
"You shouldn't have done that," Liam growled, his voice low and menacing.
