By the time she finished speaking, her tea was over. Amara looked at the empty cup, furrowed her brows a little and placed it down on the table.
When she looked up, she found Damien looking at her with a suggestive look.
''What?"
The man sighed and poured her a cup of tea, ''You liked it. Have some more,'' he passed it to her and watched her taking a sip in relish before he uttered, ''I always feel like you are better suited for this position, you know...''
''Cough...'' Amara disgracefully choked on her tea and spat it all out, bursting into a series of violent coughing.
Damien stood up to pat her back.
She grabbed a couple of tissues and wiped her face clean, letting herself calm down slowly.
Damien chuckled, ''Is it that scary?"
