As he approached her, Amara straightened up, ''I am stuck,'' she pointed her thumb at the reflection of her back in the mirror.
''What is it?" Rafael asked, looking into her eyes.
''I can't pull the zipper up. My hair also seems to be stuck there and I told the stylist I can get into the gown all by myself,'' Amara wondered if Juliette usually handled these too smoothly for her to notice that these mundane tasks could be difficult.
When Rafael remained motionless, Amara gave him a look, ''What are you doing?"
The man looked at her genuinely, ''Nothing, Your Highness.''
Her eyelids twitched, ''Why are you doing nothing? Didn't you come here to help me?"
Rafael seemed to have been stoned in a gorgeous statue.
Amara was helpless against this usually sharp but occasionally dim bodyguard.
"Here,'' she stepped forward, her head a few inches from his chest as she looked to the side.
Rafael stood there, showing no intentions to move.
