Chapter 4 - If you know...

On the planet Blue Vedar, three super continents dominate the landscape, each ruled by one of the powerful factions. One of these continents is Messiah, governed by the Ludwig faction.

At the heart of the Messiah super continent lies the Silvdore Kingdom, the central seat of power. It is here that the Ludwig household resides, overseeing and controlling the entirety of the super continent with an iron grip. Silvdore stands as the beacon of Ludwig's strength, where the faction's influence extends to every corner of Messiah.

The Silvdore Kingdom Port is the largest and most vital port within the Silvdore Kingdom, generating a substantial 25% of the kingdom's total income. This makes it one of the most valuable assets in the kingdom's economy. Ships flock to this port like moths to a flame, constantly arriving and departing.

During the busiest seasons, the port becomes so congested that captains may find themselves waiting up to a week just to dock their ships. The bustling activity is a testament to its importance, as it plays a central role in maintaining Silvdore's prosperity.

Today was one of those bustling days at Silvdore Port. I had been waiting on this ship for nearly two days, and finally, we were docking. "Man, I can't wait to get off this boat," I muttered under my breath, eager to feel solid ground beneath my feet again.

As I said this, a loud thud echoed through the ship, like something had slammed into the dock. "Oh great, what now?" I grumbled. "What's with this captain? Did he just dock the ship like he's in a hurry to crash it?" But I shrugged it off, too tired to care about the rough landing. All that mattered was getting off this cramped vessel.

"I'm out of here," I said to no one in particular, stepping out onto the deck

"I knew it wasn't a great idea to travel from kingdom to kingdom by ship," I thought to myself, my frustration simmering. "On top of that, waiting two whole days just to dock..." I sighed, shaking my head. It had been an exhausting trip, and the wait hadn't made it any better.

But as my feet finally touched solid ground, a small sense of relief washed over me. "Well, whatever," I muttered under my breath, trying to shake off the annoyance. "It's good to be back."

It had been years since I'd last set foot here. The familiar sights and sounds tugged at some long-forgotten part of me, a strange mix of nostalgia and uncertainty. Silvdore hadn't changed much, but it felt different somehow—maybe it was just me.

As I walked deeper into the city, the more I realized just how much time had passed. The streets I once knew felt foreign, almost like I had stepped into a completely different place. I rubbed my eyes, half-expecting the sights around me to fade, but they didn't.

Just then, an old woman's voice called out to me, snapping me out of my thoughts. She shuffled toward me, carrying a basket full of fish, her eyes squinting in curiosity.

"Young man, who are you?" she asked, her voice raspy but strong. "And what are you doing in this city? I've never seen you around here before."

Seeing how kindly she asked, I smiled and answered with a polite tone, "Hello, Grandma. My name is Shin. I've come here from Tashik Kingdom. Actually, I used to live here in the past, but now I'm back."

The old woman squinted her eyes, examining me as if trying to remember, but eventually she nodded slowly, seemingly satisfied with my response. "Ah, well... things have changed a lot since then, haven't they?" she said with a gentle chuckle.

As I was chatting with the old woman, a sudden commotion broke out in the distance. People had gathered in a crowd, murmuring anxiously and pointing toward something. My curiosity got the better of me, and without a second thought, I excused myself and sprinted toward the scene to see what was going on. The noise grew louder as I got closer, and I could feel the tension in the air. Something serious was happening.
