Strucker was shocked, and a trace of panic flashed in his right eye.
"How did they find out so fast? Is there a traitor?"
"I don't know, but the information is accurate. We must prepare immediately!"
Chu Mo glanced at the lab.
"How is the test subject?"
A hint of pride flashed in Strucker's eyes.
"Not very stable yet, but it will be stable in about two hours."
"Unstable?" Chu Mo was a bit surprised.
"Yes!" Strucker rolled his eyes inwardly. Even an idiot could see that! The two people inside were still screaming in pain. How could this be stable?
Chu Mo thought to himself, "Looks like Avengers 2 is about to begin! They are going to start by attacking this Hydra base."
"There was a line in the movie back then: 'The test subject is still unstable! Obviously, the Avengers are coming within two hours! No need to go looking for them; I'll just wait here and let them come."
Chu Mo walked to the door of the lab, glancing at the instruments as he passed. In the middle of the room was Loki's scepter! The Mind Stone was glowing.
"It's all mine now! Including Wanda!"
As for Quicksilver, Chu Mo didn't care much. Although he was fast, he was no match for Chu Mo's faster-than-light speed.
Chu Mo stood at the door of Wanda's lab. Wanda's body occasionally emitted red light, and powerful magic filled the room.
"Open the door!" Chu Mo ordered the researchers in white coats.
The researchers looked at Strucker.
"No way!" Strucker hurried over.
"Huh? I don't even have that little bit of authority?" Chu Mo frowned.
"No, she's emotionally unstable and dangerous!" Strucker explained quickly.
If he had taken a second longer, Chu Mo might have killed them all.
"I was born with the ability to calm emotions. Let me in. I can speed up the success of the experiment," Chu Mo said slowly.
He stared at Strucker, and a powerful aura spread through the room. Instantly, the atmosphere became suffocating.
In Strucker's eyes, Chu Mo suddenly turned into something like an ancient beast. Strucker himself felt like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.
The words of refusal immediately died on his lips.
"It's dangerous inside, especially with that girl. She has a unique power," Strucker warned.
"I'm willing to sacrifice myself. As long as the experiment succeeds, we'll have a foundation instead of becoming homeless dogs like we are now," Chu Mo said to everyone at the Hydra base.
Strucker couldn't help but admire the man before him.
"Fine! But if the situation gets bad, you come out immediately!" Strucker finally agreed.
"Long live Hydra!" Chu Mo roared.
All the armed guards and researchers were instantly inspired. A fiery light flashed in Strucker's remaining eye. This wasn't just a slogan - it was their belief.
"Open the door!"
Chu Mo stepped inside.
"There aren't many people on Hydra with such a fearless spirit," Strucker muttered to himself.
Wanda held her head in agony, and crimson energy spurted uncontrollably from her.
Outside the lab, everyone at the Hydra base watched Chu Mo nervously, afraid he'd be torn to shreds by Wanda at any moment.
"Dear Wanda, I'm here," Chu Mo whispered, reaching out to hug her tightly from behind.
"Wanda," he called softly into her ear.
Suddenly, a transparent tablet appeared.

"Start," Chu Mo muttered to himself.
Wanda was wearing a thin white lab coat. She seemed lost, her crimson energy still pouring out of her body. Chu Mo took it all in stride - his Body of Steel is invulnerable and Wanda was only at the Bronze level. Her power had no effect on him.
Wanda's body was soft and Chu Mo held her tightly, his hands wandering a bit too freely.
"It's so big! Hehehe!" He kept moving his fingers.
"Are you sure this is to calm it down?" Strucker's throat tightened, unable to hold back his question.
"Not sure. I think he's just a pervert," Rumlow replied.
"Has his identity been confirmed?" Strucker asked.
"No! Should we contact Alexander by satellite phone?" Rumlow suggested.
Strucker hesitated for a moment.
Then the satellite phone rang.
Strucker looked at the screen on his mechanical arm. It was the supreme leader, Alexander Pierce.
Strucker answered the call.
"I've been compromised. Nick Fury is approaching and the Avengers are on their way!" Alexander said anxiously over the phone.
"As the supreme leader of Hydra, I order you to leave the Sokovia base now!" Alexander ordered.
"Haven't you already informed them?" Strucker asked, confused.
"What notice are you talking about?" Alexander's panic deepened.
"Then who is this man?" Strucker's voice was filled with fear.
The phone went silent for a moment, then another voice came in.
"Alexander Pierce, you are under arrest!" The voice was unmistakable - Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
"Long live Hydra!" Alexander shouted before the call was cut off.
Strucker's expression turned grim. He looked anxiously at the lab.
"What do we do now?" Rumlow asked, having overheard the conversation.
Strucker thought for a moment before giving the order.
"Alexander Pierce is gone, so I am now the supreme leader of Hydra! I order you, Brock Rumlow, to enter the lab and find this man! Execute him on the spot!"
Strucker realized that they'd been tricked.
