Chapter 26 - Chapter 26

"Ainz Ooal Gown?" Momon, Aka my avatar said in deep thought, wondering if he ever heard of the name. But he couldn't recall such a name. He looked at the members of the Slane Theocracy, a few of the Cardinal who just left Nazarick.

"Yes... that being with a simple word can just kill." The Cardinal of Light said in a soft voice, Momon looked at this man for some time, seeing the horror he had gone through before speaking.

"... if that's all, then you need not worry. If this man is simply around level 100, I have the means to kill him and avoid his abilities." He said stunning all of them.

"So long as they are below level 130, I have means to fight... but I shouldn't fight until I know for sure this Ainz Ooal Gown is on the same level of danger as the * 8 Greed Kings. I'm the son of the first player to ever walk this world. For hundreds of years, I have spent training to break the limit of level 100." Saying that Momon got up. All of their eyes widened upon hearing his words.

"But I refuse to fight, for if I use that power, this world would end." Saying that Momon got up, to which the Cardinal Of Light nodded in joy, just happy there was hope. With hope, he was sure they could combat the monster...

"What did they want to speak with you about?" Evileye asked seeing the members of the Slane Theocracy. She wasn't happy with them popping up to speak with Momon just as he woke up. But after those words came out, she realized she might have put Momon in a bad place by asking such a question. But I waved her worries off and explained.

"There is a new player out there, and they had enraged him by entering his home. Now with him seeing he can't even stay in his home in peace, he would be making his move." Momon said calmly, shocking Evileye.

"They think I'm the only one with the hope of fighting him... well, if he is at level 100, we would both die," He said lightly, although he had his helmet on, Evileye could sense the deep frown behind it.

Toph and the others joined us, and we went over this for some time, before Blue Roses went their way, much to Evileye's disappointment. After they left, Momon, Toph, and Brita went on to take a mission. They were now Mithril rank adventures, it would have been higher if not for Brita slowing them down...

Nifrea has moved to Carna village. Why you might ask? Simple really, I convinced him to move closer to the girl he loved. Plus, I also offered to support his research, something which both Nifrea and his grandmother couldn't resist...

Sebas was also in the Re-Estize Kingdom, taking the role of a butler, Sebas was working under Solution, who played the role of a spoiled young lady out to sell her family goods in this empire to try and make money to support her family back home. The goods they were selling did draw eyes, after all, they were selling things never seen before but quickly made everyone want them.

Things like a cake, this world had never seen such a thing. There were also cookies and so many other treats which became loved by the people of this world. In no time, Solution had built a huge shop that was loved by the nobles of this kingdom.

At this moment, Sebas could be seen walking down the street when he froze upon seeing a little girl being beaten by an old man.

"You good for nothing, if you're so useless, why didn't I just sell you?" The old man most likely the girl's grandfather said angrily while kicking the little girl. Sebas frowned at such a sight before he walked forward. With a flash, he appeared before the old man, causing the old man to instantly freeze in horror.

"..." Sebas said nothing, simply watching the old man falling to the ground, fear clear in the old man's eyes. Sebas ignored the man, turning to look at the little girl, and with a friendly smile, he helped the kid up.

"Are you alright?" Sebas asked to which the kid nodded. Sebas nodded lightly, not knowing what to do right now. He wanted to do some good, but he couldn't do that if it would lead to it getting in the way of Nazarick.

Sebas attention was drawn over to a Teen in silver armor. The Teen had blonde hair with beautiful blue eyes which were pure.

"Don't worry, I will take care of things from here. As a knight, it's my duty." The teen said to which Sebas nodded gratefully. Sebas took out a gold coin and gave it to the little girl, before going on with his day.

"W-wait, might I know your name." The teen asked, he had seen Sebas's movement, Sebas was only walking, yet it was hard for him to track Sebas's movement. He wanted to ask Sebas to teach him...

This Teen was called Climb. Thanks to the golden princess, criminals in the kingdom were being hunted down with greater might than ever before. It was so bad that many who have been doing illegal things have been throwing out their goods to the streets and running away.

The Golden Princess was becoming the enemy of everyone, but she didn't care, she rather be the enemy of the world than let such evil go on any longer. She blamed herself for not acting sooner... truly, she was the perfect princess.

The Re-Estize Kingdom was the farthest thing from a perfect kingdom. The kingdom had been plagued by inept nobles who had viewed commoners as mere pawns in their power play ever since its founding. Protected from hostile demi-human nations by natural barriers and neighboring countries, the Kingdom was relatively peaceful. However, this peace left the nation weak to corruption from within.

By the time its current king, Ramposa III, came to power, the Kingdom was already suffering from extreme political corruption due to the mistakes of previous kings. Throughout his reign, he tried to reform the Kingdom, but to no avail. As the king aged, his ability to exercise his authority deteriorated, and thus nobles got more say in matters. This eventually resulted in the government splitting between a Royalty Faction and a Nobility Faction. The only reason the situation didn't escalate into civil war was due to the efforts of Marquis Raeven, a patriot with connections to both sides.

There was also a conflict of succession. Though it was long since time for the King to abdicate, he refused to do so out of fear of either of his sons, Crown Prince Barbro or Second Prince Zanac, becoming a nobility puppet. Each brother also desired the throne for himself, sparking a bitter rivalry.

The Golden Princess's actions were truly making her the enemy of the nobles... at least it was like that on the surface, but in the darkness, the Golden Princess had secretly taken over the underground business, allowing the nobles to act like the disgusting pigs they were, but for things to ultimately be under the control of... Nazarick.

"..." Currently the King's face was dark, I mean how couldn't he when he got news of the man known as Ainz Ooal Gown taking over Carna village with the support of the Slane Theocracy? Even the Baharuth Empire joined hands with this new party.

The Slane Theocracy and the Re-Estize Kingdom had a complex relationship. In the past, the Theocracy secretly shepherded the Kingdom in the hopes this would allow humanity to grow and thrive, as well as produce several strong individuals. However, this backfired, as their relatively peaceful lifestyle caused them to become nothing but a cesspool of corruption that even the Theocracy wished to eradicate. Aside from this, the two nations also had problems due to religious differences.

The only reason the Theocracy did not conquer the Kingdom themselves was due to fear of retaliation by the Argland Council State. Instead, they planned on having the Kingdom be conquered by the Baharuth Empire. To this end, while there was no open war between the Theocracy and the Kingdom, conflicts existed behind the scenes in the form of espionage and small skirmishes.

The relationship between the Baharuth Empire and the Re-Estize Kingdom was also complex. The Kingdom and the Empire were in a state of war. The only way the Kingdom could resist the Empire was by drafting a greater number of troops than them. Though losses on both sides were minimal, the conflict between the two nations had only been prolonged because the Empire never fully committed the entirety of its forces to the war, instead engaging in a war of attrition to weaken the Kingdom and later conquer it with minimal losses.

Despite the blood between the two nations, they did engage in cooperative projects such as the construction of the Free City of Vadis, an independent city created as a base to suppress the undead in the Katze Plains, seeing that they shared a common threat.

Aside from the annual war, many nobles refused to accept Emperor Jircniv's legitimacy and referred to him as the "False Emperor." This was because he acquired his position by rising through the ranks rather than through birthright. In addition to that, the tension between the two countries only increased further due to the massive power obtained by the Criminal Syndicate based in the Kingdom, Eight Fingers, and their gradual invasion into the Empire's Underworld by selling their highly addictive and harmful Black Dust to the Empire's Populace. This already got several of the Empire's people addicted and receiving a steady flow of cash from it.

Nazarick made its first move, taking Carna village... but the Re-Estize Kingdom couldn't just ignore that. They knew that although The Slane Theocracy was supporting Nazarick, they couldn't step in and fully support Nazarick. Plus, they were busy with the elves and dealing with the demi-humans. So, they only had to worry about the Baharuth Empire and the being known as Ainz Ooal Gwon.
