Wyatt Hale finished taking photos and, from the corner of his eye, glanced at his sister-in-law, Zoe Bell. She seemed to be in a good mood, so he didn't mention seeing Ruben Fletcher to avoid affecting her emotions.
But very soon,
he was force-fed a mouthful of dog food.
Zoe ordered a steak, and William Hale considerately cut it for her before passing it over.
William, on the other hand, ordered black truffle pasta with white sauce. Zoe merely gave it a few extra glances, and he specifically scooped some onto a plate and handed it to her, "Want to try?"
Wyatt, who was sitting diagonally opposite her, listened as Zoe didn't refuse, "Thank you."
"Brother, I also want…"
Wyatt didn't get to finish his sentence when his brother suddenly stared at him with an intense gaze, startling him to the core.
His words took a detour, "I also feel like having some lemon water."
The lemon water was by William's side.
