"You haven't known each other long. How could you dare to marry him? Aren't you afraid of entering the wolf's den?" Wyatt Hale cocked his head to look at Zoe Bell, who was driving.
She just smiled, "At least until now..."
"I haven't regretted it."
Wyatt Hale's head was aching. Had she been brainwashed by his brother?
Before he could say anything else, his phone vibrated, the caller ID read "Dear Brother." Zoe caught a glimpse of him straightening up quickly, smiling sweetly, and calling out tenderly, "Bro—"
She almost burst out laughing.
Because his voice was so incredibly sycophantic!
Zoe parked the car at a temporary spot on the roadside and went into the family's herbal shop. Wyatt made sure she had left before he grinned ingratiatingly, "Bro, surprise or not, your dear brother is here!"
"Talk normally!"
"Grandpa sent me."
"Did he tell you to do anything else?"
"Just to check on Sister-in-law and take some photos for him."
"Did you take them?"
"Mhm."
