Act 1
Heir of Crime
*Scene 1*
[The flickering light bulb casts an eerie glow inside the small, grimy cell. PRINCE (80s), an old criminal with a weathered face and cold eyes, sits on a rickety cot. He stares into the distance, lost in thought. The sound of distant echoes reverberates in the hollow structure.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
In the shadows of a crumbling world, darkness breeds darkness. Here, in the confines of steel bars, life hangs by a tenuous thread. A thread that could soon be severed.
[Footsteps echo, and a GUARD approaches, sliding a slot in the door open.]
GUARD
Baron's here, old man.
[The GUARD opens the cell door, revealing BARON (17), a strikingly fierce young girl with wild eyes and an intensity that belies her age. She steps in, straightening herself like a soldier reporting for duty.]
PRINCE
(leaning forward)
You made it.
BARON
(arms crossed)
What's the job?
PRINCE
You know of Duke?
BARON
(devious smile)
The kingpin. Hard not to.
[Prince's eyes gleam with desperation and determination.]
PRINCE
He's dead. But his legacy? It needs to carry on. He wanted you to take care of unfinished business.
[Baron raises an eyebrow, intrigued yet sceptical.]
BARON
What do you want me to do with it?
*Scene 2*
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Baron was cold-hearted, a killer moulded by circumstance, yet a flicker of ambition whispered promises of a new life. One that might lead her to new heights of power.
[Prince reaches into his tattered coat and pulls out an old, yellowed letter.]
PRINCE
He wrote this before he died. Instructions. I'm not going to survive this hellhole much longer. You must do the job… for him, and for yourself.
[Baron snatches the letter, examining it with a critical gaze. The implications sink in.]
BARON
Why should I trust you?
[Prince leans back, a cunning smile creeping across his face.]
PRINCE
Because I know what's at stake. You want respect. You want to be feared. This is your ticket.
B[aron pauses, the wheels in her mind turning, the darkness in her heart igniting at the idea. It's a dangerous game, but she's played worse.]
BARON
Let's say I buy this. How do I get you out?
[Prince nods, thinking quickly.]
PRINCE
Tonight, during the guard shift change, I'll create a diversion. You take my letter, find Duke's old crew, and make him proud.
[Baron nods, the resolve strengthening in her eyes.]
BARON
Consider it done.
She turns to leave, but Prince calls after her.
PRINCE
One more thing, Baron...
[Baron looks back, unyielding.]
PRINCE (cont'd)
Don't let sentiment cloud your judgement. One slip, and you'll end up like me.
[Baron smirks, her bravado masking the weight of his words.]
BARON
I was born in the dark, old man. Let's see if it runs in the blood.
*Scene 3*
[The sun sets, casting long shadows over the prison walls. Baron waits in the frigid air, pacing with anticipation, her heart pounding with purpose.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
To rise above, one must dance with death itself.
[Suddenly, a COMMOTION erupts from within the prison. Prince, feigning a seizure, creates chaos. Guards rush in. Amidst the uproar, Baron sprints away.]
*Scene 4*
[Baron darts through dark alleyways, adrenaline coursing through her veins. She arrives at an old warehouse that once housed Duke's operation.]
[Facing looming shadows, she pushes through the door, stepping into the belly of the beast.]
[Inside, the remnants of Duke's empire are still intact. OLD CREW MEMBERS - a ragtag group of misfits - stare at her, uncertain.]
BARON
(intense and unwavering)
I'm here to finish what Duke started.
[They look at one another, scepticism written across their faces.]
Jax
And who the hell do you think you are?
[Baron slams the letter on the table, the energy in the room shifting.]
BARON
I'm Baron. Duke's successor.
[The crew members exchange glances, intrigued yet hesitant.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
In a world where power struggled to breathe, a new force arose from the ashes, as a phoenix does from fire.
[Baron lays out the plan — a heist, a way to reclaim power — and as she plans, confidence commands the room.]
[The crew steps out into the night, armed and ready. Baron leads, her heart thrumming with excitement and fear.]
NARRATOR (V.O.) With every pulse of fear, she embraced the darkness within, ready to carve her name onto the twisted tapestry of a broken city.
*Scene 5*
[The crew approaches a lavish mansion; it emits wealth and privilege. Baron glances back at her crew, steely determination etched in her features.]
BARON
Tonight, we reclaim what's ours. No mercy.
[They advance, a seamless unit, shadows merging with the night. The echoes of the past guide Baron, forcing her to shed all hesitance.]
[Show them breaking in, evading security, and executing moves with precision — a ballet of skill and sheer ruthlessness.]
[Baron's face is a mask of concentration, her pupils dilated with exhilaration. They reach the vault, and as they crack it open, cash spills out, like a fountain of freedom.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
In the depths of darkness, she had found herself — a weapon to wield or a curse to bear.
*Scene 6*
[Baron and her crew celebrate in their wearhouse, the thrill of victory electrifying the air. The glitter of money in their hands illuminates their faces.]
BARON
Fame and fortune belong to those bold enough to reach for it.
[One crew member raises a drink in a toast.]
Megan
To Baron, the new queen of shadows!
[Tension mounts as Baron's expression darkens with the weight of her choices, but she quickly masks it with a grin.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
But the thrill of ambition comes with a price, and loyalty is a fragile thread.
[She raises her glass, and the crew shouts in approval, but in the depths of her heart, she knows the shadows are vast… and they hunger for blood.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Even the darkest nights must surrender to dawn. But for Baron, the night was just beginning.
Act 2
Montgomery
*Scene 1*
[The full moon casts an eerie glow on a warehouse structure. Lights flicker from within, revealing shadows moving. A low HUM of muffled conversations echoes like a low growl.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
In a city where loyalty is a lose-lose game, she's not just made it big—Baron is big. A cold-hearted killer embraced by chaos itself.
[A FIGURE clad in dark leather slides into view, her face partially obscured by a hood. This is BARON (17), fierce eyes like embers glowing with purpose.]
[Baron approaches the entrance, her breath visible in the frigid air. She pulls out a compact GUN, the steel glinting.]
BARON
(to herself)
Time to hunt.
[She pushes open the door, the creaking hinges echo like the sound of an impending storm.]
*Scene 2*
[Inside, a low-lit scene reveals BARON's GANG, a motley crew of OUTCASTS and REBELS, gathered around a table stacked with CRIMINAL PLANS and WEAPONS.]
MEGAN (17)
(enthusiastically)
Baron! The streets are buzzing! Monty's taken out two of our guys already!
BARON
(stern)
Then he needs to learn he's in over his head.
JAX (19)
You want us to go after him?
[Baron leans on the table, her demeanour chilling the air.]
BARON
No. I want to draw him to me. He's a rat, and I'm setting the trap.
[Baron stands at the forefront of her GANG, her expression hardening like ice.]
BARON
(intense)
We're not just a gang anymore; we're a family. If Monty wants to take us down, he'll have to go through me first.
[The crew murmurs, a mix of dread and determination.]
*Scene 3*
[Baron stalks the dimly lit alley, the stench of garbage overpowering. She spots two of Monty's thugs, looming like shadows of death.]
BARON
(calmly)
Where's Monty?
[The thugs exchange worried glances.]
THUG 1
Why don't you ask him yourself, Baron?
[As they step forward, Baron pulls her gun, firing a warning shot into the air]
BARON
(scary calm)
Last chance.
*Scene 4*
[Baron re-enters the warehouse, her presence heavy. Her Gang members watch her, trepidation in their eyes.]
MEGAN
Did you find him?
Baron nods, her gaze cold.
BARON
One way or another, Monty's going to meet me.
JAX
But how? He's dangerous—he doesn't play by the rules!
Baron's voice lowers, an ominous whisper.
BARON
Neither do I.
*Scene 5*
[The skyline looms above. Baron navigates the rooftops, her silhouette a predator in the moonlight. She spots MONTY (20), a cocky grin plastered across his face as he surveys his domain.]
MONTY
(shouts)
Baron! Been waiting for you.
He saunters over, leaning against a chimney, unbothered.
MONTY (CONT'D)
You think you can just walk in? This city ain't yours anymore.
BARON
Neither is it yours.
They lock eyes, a moment thick with tension.
MONTY
You wanna play?
[Baron smirks, retreating into a fighting stance.]
BARON
I don't play games, Monty.
T[phe two launch into a fierce battle—punches thrown, kicks delivered like daggers. The camera captures their movements, the raw power of their fight illuminating the night.]
[Monty lands a punch on Baron, who stumbles but quickly regains her footing, countering his attack with a haymaker.]
MONTY
(grinning)
You're still the same cold killer, aren't you?
BARON
And you're still the same petty criminal.
[They exchange a flurry of blows, rage spilling onto the rooftop like a dark storm.]
[Suddenly, Baron uses the environment to her advantage, flipping him over the edge. Monty catches himself, hanging perilously.]
MONTY
(panting)
This is just a game, Baron.
[Baron looms closer, her gun drawn, gunmetal glinting ominously.]
BARON
And you're about to lose.
MONTY
(clinging to the edge)
What if I have something to offer?
[Baron hesitates, her eyes narrowing.]
BARON
What could you possibly offer me?
*Scene 6*
[BARON and MONTY enter the warehouse and start discussing. The gang watches the commotion unfold through their own eyes, tension snapping like a live wire.]
JAX
What are they talking about?
MEGAN
Wait, is she going to kill him?
[Baron looms, her heart racing as she weighs her options. ]
MONTY
(smirking)
Everything you want, Baron. Power... Influence... we can rule together.
BARON
You think I'd trust you?
MONTY
Well then…
FADE TO BLACK.
Act 3
The Reckoning
*Scene 1*
[A solitary moon hangs over an eerie, deserted warehouse. The chill in the air thickens as the ambiance crackles with tension. We hear the distant echo of city life muffled through the rotting wood and rusted metal.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
(gritty and sombre)
In a city where shadows rule the night, one young girl stands above them all - Baron. Her heart, a dormant vessel, filled only with ambition and revenge.
[BARON (17, fierce, cold-hearted, with steely resolve) stands eye locked with MONTY, dressed in dark, form-fitting attire. BARONs eyes gleam with an unnatural intensity.]
MONTY
(grinning)
This is ground zero—the last stand of the wannabe queen.
[Baron cracks her knuckles, her face a mask of indifference.]
BARON
You overestimate yourself, Monty. Today, I'm not just a girl... I'm a weapon.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
With each word, the air thickens, layering desperation overconfidence. Monty steps closer, trying to intimidate her.
[MONTY lunges forward, swinging his fist, but BARON darts to the side and counters quickly, her movements precise and fluid.]
BARON
(whispers, for herself)
Master wanted this…
*Scene 2*
[As they engage, the warehouse echoes with the sounds of fists colliding, grunts, and the clank of metal against metal. Baron demonstrates skills honed through brutal training under her mentor, capturing the essence of the fight.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Beneath her cold façade lies the soul of a devoted apprentice, channelling her master's spirit—the relentless pursuit of power.
[Monty tackles Baron, sending her crashing into a stack of metal barrels. She rolls off and barely escapes his next blow, her sharp instincts saving her.]
MONTY
(breathing heavily)
You're just a pathetic little girl. Why do you think you can take on the big dogs?
BARON
(grim faced, with clarity)
Because I am no longer your pathetic girl. I have a purpose.
[Baron strikes with a roundhouse kick, catching him off-guard. He stumbles backward, rage contorting his face.]
*Scene 3*
NARRATOR (V.O.)
Every move she makes—each strike a tribute to her late master, a vow to live and conquer in her name.
[The fight intensifies. Baron lands a powerful punch that sends Monty sprawling. She stands over him, breathing heavily, yet composed, embodying her master's vengeful spirit.]
MONTY
(panting)
You won't win this. You don't belong here!
BARON
(coldly)
Duke said... No quarter can be given to those who betray trust.
[MONTY scrambles to retrieve a WRENCH, swinging wildly, but Baron evades effortlessly. The tension boils over as she counters and disarms him with a brutal efficiency that only a cold-hearted killer could muster.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
In the opera of treachery, she must dance with danger—and tonight the stage is hers.
[As Monty reels from the blows, Baron stands before him, contemplating her next move—calculating.]
BARON
Every crime must find its reckoning. Time's up.
*Scene 4*
[With swift precision, she delivers the final blow—a punch that resonates with the pain of every betrayal she has suffered, sealing Monty's fate.]
MONTY
(fading)
You... will... regret this…
[Monty collapses, silenced. Baron stands over him, devoid of empathy, embodying her destiny amidst the stillness.]
NARRATOR (V.O.)
In her eyes, a storm brews... vengeance fulfilled, but at what cost?
BARON
(murmurs)
I won't regret anything... Duke, I did it.
[Baron wipes the sweat from her brow, a cold satisfaction washing over her. She turns, walking away from the scene, the silhouette of a true queen emerging in darkness.]
*Scene 5*
The moonlight shines upon Baron as she fades into the shadows of the city, forever marked by her choices, now a world-class crime boss—void of any warmth, but brimming with fierce ambition.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
And as the echoes wane, the city becomes her canvas—painted with blood, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of power…
FADE OUT.
*Scene BONUS*
[Duke, Prince and Baron walk on to stage]
(Verse 1)
Duke:
In the realm of dreams, where aspirations soar,
We planted my flag, a star we adored.
With every step, our resolve ignite,
'I'll make it big time, till all the times are bright!'
(Chorus)
I'll make it big time! Till all the times are big, big time!
No obstacle too high, my spirit will climb.
Through valleys and peaks, I'll forge my way,
My name is etched in history, come what may.
(Verse 2)
Baron:
The naysayers may doubt, but I'll figure it out,
But I'll silence their whispers, make them adore.
With talent and passion, I'll rise above,
Embracing the challenge, powered by greed.
(Chorus)
I'll make it big time! Till all the times are big, big time!
No obstacle too high, my spirit will climb.
Through valleys and peaks, I'll forge my way,
My name is etched in history, come what may.
(Bridge)
Prince:
The journey may be arduous, the path may be long,
But You'll persevere, singing your song.
With every triumph, our belief shall grow,
Till the world echoes, 'Yes, they made it so!'
(Chorus)
I'll make it big time! Till all the times are big, big time!
No obstacle too high, my spirit will climb.
Through valleys and peaks, I'll forge my way,
My name is etched in history, come what may.
(Outro)
Duke and Prince and Baron:
So let the fire burn, let the dream take flight,
I'll make it big time, with all my might.
Till every moment shines, a beacon of bliss
