After saying that, she jumped from the top of the factory we were standing in and with incredible speed she charged at one of the Stray Devil's.

Unlike the other Stray Devil's, he detected us immediately even though we were still quite far away, it was noticeable by his presence that he was not like the others I have faced so far, and with my sight I could see that everything around him was plagued with incredibly fine spider webs.

This is one of the worst flaws of the Evil Pieces that Ajuka created, although he was a genius who surpassed me in several aspects, but his only problem was that when one investigation stopped interesting him he simply moved on to another, he never fixed this problem of the Evil Piece that corrupted the Devils who went against the orders of their masters.

What the hell is going on in this city? Ever since I moved here with Basara, I've always known that it wasn't an ordinary city. Even though it has a normal appearance and appears on all the maps of Japan, for some strange reason it always rejects supernatural beings. Ever since I've been living here for a few years now, I haven't come across any Demon in this city, but as soon as I leave it, I always find one.
Although I'm not complaining, thanks to that I've been able to stay away from all that shit in the heroes' village and concentrate on finding Sapphire. Also, Basara has been able to live a normal life and make friends. Even though I knew it wasn't going to be a peace that would last forever because of his heritage, I at least wanted him to be able to experience living like a normal person and going to school for a few years.
This city made that possible, that's why I'm indebted to it, that's why if it finds itself in trouble I'll obviously defend it along with all the people who live here.
Lately I've been sensing several presences on the outskirts of the city, this is the first time this has happened since I've lived here, at first I thought they were Demons, but I could never confirm it, whenever I arrived at the place someone always killed them before time, the only thing I know is that the person who killed them is apparently someone skilled with ice magic, at the scene of the events I always find only fragments of broken ice.
