…A light in the Belfry…
"What happens when we dream?
Where do we go? Is there some other reality we escape to? Some other plane of thought?
Can we make our dreams come true or are we slaves to whatever landscape our minds dare to, or accidentally entertain? We enter a bleak, dark landscape that is cold and full of shadows and doubt. Shadows that move, twisting, shifting, blending into one another to form images of our imagination, horrific and not. As one crosses the broken dry ground of this realm of the mindscape, there are sleeping villages scattered abroad, practically oblivious to one another. None of which are connected by any road or path. Amidst these villages, in the center of them all is a single tower reaching high into the dark, storm clouds above. The tower is ominous, black, dark like the land. But a single light pierces those clouds from above, occasionally sending its beam down onto the villages. This light shines into one room, one space where the sleeping lay, and their minds are opened to the dreamscape.
Venture with us, if you will. Take a trip into the minds of the sleeping to see what realms are there to be explored.
At some point, today, tomorrow, maybe even yesterday, who of us knew that the world fell asleep? And that somewhere along the way, it too began to dream…
