Shan floated between the fighters, his presence exuding calm authority. Observing the chaos, he turned to Rosy and asked, "Why are they fighting?"
Rosy, catching her breath, urgently replied, "Stop him first. I'll explain everything later."
Nodding, Shan reassured her, "Alright, dear. Wait here." With that, he flew toward the battle.
Approaching Dr. Sin and Amon, Shan hovered in the air, addressing the doctor first. "Who are you?" he asked firmly.
Amon, seething with rage, shouted, "Go away! I'm the one who's going to kill him!" He rushed to attack, but Shan merely touched Amon's head, sending him crashing to the ground with incredible force.
Shan turned his attention back to Dr. Sin, his tone sharp. "I won't ask again. Who are you?"
Dr. Sin smirked, brushing off the tension. "I'm Dr. Srinivasan, but you can call me Dr. Sin. It has a nice ring to it, don't you think?"
Shan's expression remained unchanged. "Alright, Dr. Sin. You've gathered all the wandering souls into your body. Release them now."
Dr. Sin chuckled darkly. "And what if I don't?"
"Then I will," Shan replied simply. Before Dr. Sin could react, Shan moved with blinding speed, landing a powerful blow to his face. The sheer force of the attack caused a glowing gate to materialize behind Dr. Sin, its pull immense. The doctor struggled, but the gate began sucking him in.
Dr. Sin, overwhelmed, muttered in disbelief, "He killed me with just one strike? How?!" As the gate consumed him, fragments of his past life flashed before his eyes until he vanished completely.
The gate closed with a final burst of energy, leaving the area silent. Shan turned back to Rosy and said calmly, "The problem is resolved. Let's go back to our palace."
Rosy smiled but hesitated for a moment. "Yes, let's go, Shan. But wait a second." She walked over to Bandman, who was still processing everything. "Thank you for helping me escape," she said sincerely.
Bandman nodded. "You were brave. Take care of yourself."
With that, Rosy returned to Shan, taking his hand. Together, they ascended into the sky, disappearing as they left the planet behind.
Jehovah stared at the empty space where Shan had vanished moments earlier, his face a mix of confusion and awe. "What just happened? The fight is over... in seconds? Who is that Shan?"
Bandman crossed his arms, deep in thought. "Rosy said she's a god, and her boyfriend is the Celestial King. So, King Shan might be the one controlling our universe. That would explain his power."
Jehovah frowned, still trying to wrap his head around it. "It's a bit overwhelming... Oh no, we forgot about Amon!"
Realizing their oversight, Bandman and Jehovah rushed over to Amon, who lay unconscious on the ground. After checking his pulse, Bandman sighed in relief. "He's alive. Let's get him to the hospital."
Hours later, Amon woke up, disoriented but alive. He blinked, his voice hoarse as he asked, "Where is Dr. Sin?"
Jehovah sat beside him, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "He's dead, Amon. Shan took care of him."
Amon clenched his fists, tears welling in his eyes as he shouted, "No! I couldn't kill him myself. I couldn't take revenge for Medusa!" His voice cracked with grief.
Bandman stepped closer, his tone calm. "It's okay, Amon. He's gone now. You don't have to carry that weight anymore."
As Amon struggled to process the news, a doctor entered the room. "How are you feeling now, Amon?" he asked.
"I'm fine," Amon replied quietly.
The doctor hesitated before speaking. "I heard about Medusa. Is it true she could heal any wound?"
Amon nodded solemnly. "Yes, doctor. She could."
The doctor sighed, his expression pained. "My son is blind. I had hoped she might help him regain his sight."
Amon looked down, guilt and sorrow flashing across his face. "I'm sorry, doctor. If she were alive, she would've helped him. She always wanted to heal people."
The doctor offered a small, bittersweet smile. "It's alright, Amon. I'm working with a scientist to develop robotic eyes for blind people. If we succeed, it could change the world."
Amon nodded slightly, his voice softer. "That's amazing, doctor. I hope it works."
The doctor patted his shoulder gently. "Thank you. Now, get some rest. You need to recover." With that, he left the room.
Bandman stepped forward, his gaze steady. "Take care of yourself, Amon. I'll always have your back. See you later."
Jehovah also prepared to leave, giving Amon a supportive nod. "I have some things to handle, Amon. Rest up, okay? Bye."
"Bye, guys," Amon replied quietly as his friends left the room. Alone now, Amon leaned back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. The weight of everything that had happened pressed down on him, but for the first time in a while, he let his body relax, allowing himself to rest.
The doctor entered his son's room, a warm smile on his face. The room was filled with gadgets and a small humanoid robot stood next to the boy, whirring softly. The boy, sitting on his bed, looked up eagerly.
"Dad, I've been waiting for you!" the boy exclaimed, his face lighting up.
The doctor chuckled, walking over to ruffle his son's hair. "I know, I know. Guess what? Your uncle sent you a gift—another robot!"
The boy's eyes widened with excitement as he turned to the robot standing in the corner. "Really? Another one? That's awesome! What's its name?"
The doctor smiled and pointed to the sleek, silver robot. "Meet Techo. He'll help you with school tomorrow. Isn't that right, Techo?"
The robot's eyes lit up with a soft blue glow as it responded in a friendly tone. "Yes, sir! I'll assist you with everything you need, young master."
The boy clapped his hands, thrilled. "This is so cool! Thanks, Dad!"
The doctor leaned down, placing a gentle kiss on his son's forehead. "Alright, buddy, it's getting late. Tomorrow is a big day. Time to sleep now."
The boy yawned, nodding. "Okay, Dad. Good night!"
The doctor smiled as he stood up and walked toward the door, turning back one last time. "Good night, son. Sweet dreams."
The boy snuggled under the covers, glancing once more at Techo, who stood silently by his bedside, ready to assist him in the morning. The room dimmed as the lights automatically adjusted for bedtime, and the quiet hum of the robot added a comforting rhythm to the stillness of the night.(Techo will return)
Dr. Sin will return in dark world.
