Chapter 9 - Save medusa

"I am from a planet where gods live," Rosy began, her voice trembling as she recalled her ordeal. "I was the girlfriend of the Celestial King, Shan. When he was trying to seal the Dark Devil, Dark devil used his immense power to kill me by throwing me into an endless void. He thought it was the only way to save him from shan. But instead of being lost forever, I somehow ended up here on Earth."

She paused, her eyes reflecting a mixture of sorrow and anger. "When I landed, I was severely injured and unconscious. Dr. Srinivasan found me. He took advantage of my vulnerable state, extracting blood from the wounds the Dark Devil inflicted on me. At first, he pretended to help me, asking questions about where I came from and why I had such unusual powers. I was too weak to resist, so I told him everything—about the Celestials, their powers, and Shan's battle with the Dark Devil. That's when he realized the potential of my blood. He discovered that it could enhance someone's abilities beyond normal human limits."

Bandman listened intently, his fists clenching.

Rosy continued, her voice growing weaker. "Dr. Srinivasan is obsessed with creating the 'perfect being.' He's been using my blood to find a perfect match—someone whose body can endure the transformation. But it's not enough for him. Once he finds the right person, he harvests their heart to obtain 'pure blood,' an even more potent form of power. To keep me from escaping, he's been subjecting me to toxic gas, weakening me every day. I'm nothing more than a tool to him."

Bandman shook his head, his masked face grim. "Dr. Srinivasan truly is a monster. We need to stop him before he causes more harm."

Rosy sighed. "It's no use. I saw how strong that man—Ram—was when you fought him. He's already been enhanced by my blood. And now he's hunting for Medusa. If he finds her, it will be catastrophic. Her abilities, combined with the pure blood, would make him unstoppable."

Bandman's mind raced as he pieced together the gravity of the situation. "So, Ram killed a man for no reason other than to test his strength," he muttered, his resolve hardening. "If he gets to Medusa first, it's game over."

Rosy nodded solemnly. "Medusa is the key. If Dr. Srinivasan gets his hands on her, no one will be able to stand against him."

Bandman stood, his determination clear in his posture. "Then we don't have time to waste. We need to find Medusa before they do."

Rosy looked at him with a glimmer of hope. "You'll need help. Dr. Srinivasan has resources and power far beyond what we can imagine."

Bandman reached out to steady her. "Then we fight smart. Together, we'll figure this out. No more people are going to suffer because of that madman."

With renewed purpose, the two set out, knowing the road ahead would be perilous but determined to stop the darkness spreading across their world.

In the morning, Amon and Medusa went to school. Amon couldn't shake off the thoughts swirling in his mind—what exactly did Dr. Sin want from Medusa? The question gnawed at him, consuming his focus as he stared blankly ahead.

The teacher's voice broke through the haze, calling his name. "Amon?"

But he didn't respond, lost in his thoughts.

The teacher's tone sharpened. "Amon!"

Startled, Amon jolted upright. "Huh?"

The teacher frowned, his irritation evident. "What are you doing, Amon? Sleeping with your eyes open? If you don't want to pay attention, then get out of my class!"

Embarrassed, Amon quickly gathered his things and walked out, his classmates snickering behind him. As he stood in the hallway, leaning against the wall, he muttered to himself, "I can't let this distract me... but what does he want from her? I need answers before it's too late."

When the bell rang, Medusa came out of class and found Amon leaning against the wall, lost in thought.

"Still thinking about Dr. Sin?" Medusa asked, shaking her head. "Forget about him, Amon. We're in school. Just concentrate on your studies."

Amon sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'm trying my best to forget that man, but I don't know why he keeps running through my mind. It's like he's everywhere."

Medusa placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Come on, we'll figure this out later. Let's just get through the day. We'll talk about it this evening with Jehovah."

Amon nodded. "Alright, Medusa. I'll try."

When the school day ended, Amon and Medusa headed to the park. This time, Jehovah arrived on time, waving at them as he approached.

"Yo, guys! Sorry about yesterday," Jehovah said, slightly out of breath. "I had so much work to deal with."

Medusa smiled. "It's fine. But we really need to let you know—there are a lot of strange things happening around us."

Amon nodded, his expression serious. "Yeah. Yesterday, I saw something terrifying. A man killed someone randomly for no reason. His punches were incredibly powerful, way stronger than yours, Jehovah."

Jehovah's brows furrowed in concern. "What? That's insane. I didn't catch the news yesterday. Tell me more about what happened."

Suddenly, a voice echoed through the park. "Are you guys talking about me?"

Ram, with a smug grin, walked toward them. "I'm getting famous. It's great, right, Jehovah?"

Jehovah glared at him, his fists clenched. "How did you get this power, Ram? Did Dr. Srinivasan inject you with something?"

Ram chuckled darkly, shaking his head. "I'm not here to answer your questions. Medusa, come with me. If you don't, I'll kill your friends in the most hardcore way possible."

Medusa took a step forward, her expression fierce, but before she could react, Jehovah lunged at Ram, throwing a punch. Ram didn't even flinch. His body didn't move an inch.

Jehovah's eyes widened in shock. "What… you didn't move?"

Ram smirked. "You've become weak, Jehovah." Then, with a swift motion, he punched Jehovah in the face. The force was so powerful that Jehovah was sent flying backward, crashing into a nearby tree.

"Come with me, Medusa," Ram said, his voice cold as ice.

But just as Medusa was about to make her move, a figure appeared from the shadows. Bandman!

Bandman immediately rushed forward, blocking Ram's path. "Let's finish the unfinished battle, Ram."

Ram sneered. "I'm already ready, band guy," he taunted, ready to clash once more.

Rosy, still beside Jehovah, quickly began healing his injuries, her hands glowing with energy as she worked to mend his damaged face. The tension in the air thickened as both sides prepared for an inevitable showdown.
