Luke was the first to storm out of the office, his heavy footsteps echoing down the hallway. I caught a glimpse of his clenched fists before the door slammed shut behind him. My brother who had always been calm and collected was now like a volcano, always simmering, and tonight felt dangerously close to eruption.
"Guess I'll babysit the hothead," Rylan said with a grin, his voice laced with sarcasm. He grabbed Gregory by the back of his shirt like he was hauling a particularly annoying child.
"Let me go, you don't know who you're dealing with!" Gregory screeched, his voice cracking as he tried to yank free.
"Shut it," Rylan growled, his patience wearing thin. "You're lucky Adrian hasn't turned you into dust."
