My confrontation with Alyssa this morning opened my eyes to a painful truth— if I don't start stepping up, I might actually lose Ethan. The way she dismissed my role in his life, saying I had done nothing for him, stung like poison—corroding my confidence.

I hated the thought of being labeled as just another heiress born with a diamond spoon, someone who coasts on family wealth without any real contributions of her own.

Alyssa might see herself as an unstoppable force—a "golden heiress"—but I knew I could be more than just a name or a fortune. I would be more.

Later that night, I gathered my brothers in the family study. I needed their perspective, no matter how overbearing and protective they could be. As each of them filtered in—Marcus, Dante, Julian, and Theo—I felt the weight of their presence, the authority and support that I'd always taken for granted.
