This was it—the ultimate showdown.
I had called my brothers for a "family meeting" in the Alcove mansion's grand dining room. A conference setup, complete with a projector screen and neatly arranged chairs, awaited them.
The usual boardroom was full—Marcus, Julian, Dante, and Theo all sat looking mildly amused, intrigued, and, in Dante's case, suspicious.
I clicked the first slide on the screen, which had the words "BROTHERLY INTERVENTION AND THE IMMINENT THREAT TO MY RELATIONSHIP" in big, bold letters. I turned to face them, laser pointer in hand, ready to unleash my carefully crafted presentation.
"Alright, gentlemen," I began, narrowing my eyes in their direction. "Today, we're going to talk about why your constant interference is on the verge of causing a full-scale breakup with Ethan."
Dante rolled his eyes. "This is serious, huh?"
