Hearing the commotion, both Scarlet and Alex stopped their cars. Scarlet was the first one to come out and Alex did the same a little bit later.
"What's going on?" Scarlet demanded an answer, crossing her arms as she stared at Luciel and Melisa, ignoring the kids that came out of the vehicle, wanting to hear why they stopped.
"Zombies," Luciel answered, having a calm look on his face as he scanned the area.
Upon hearing the news, the kids got closer to one another, feeling worried about their safety and those who were protecting them, especially Luciel who was here with them ever since the rescue.
"Great," Scarlet muttered under her breath, looking aside since she didn't want to show her concern in front of the kids.
"How long do we have until they reach us?" Alex was the one to ask now, regretting that he decided to stop wearing his shiny armor after a certain incident.
