Within two days, after He Kui's company obtained the mining contracting license, his robot research progressed smoothly.
With funds available, materials arrived quickly, keeping He Kui extremely busy.
During this time, He Kui and Sulei arrived at the port, where a brand-new Nazca-class ship stood silently.
The originally sleek and aesthetically pleasing hull was now adorned with eight symmetrical diamond-shaped devices—the shield generators.
"The weak points are too obvious, and it looks ugly," Sulei remarked disdainfully.
He Kui shrugged. "Yeah, but it's not meant for mass production; it's probably intended for special operations only."
The ship's armament hadn't changed, and the shield appeared cumbersome, with weak points obvious to elite pilots.
At best, it was just a shielded artillery platform.
"Let's go."
"Okay~"
Both dressed in white, they spoke briefly with the captain, dressed in black, on the bridge with its fresh steel scent, before returning to their separate rooms.
However, as soon as He Kui set down his luggage, Sulei came over.
"You don't have to waste money like this."
Upon entering, Sulei noticed two Haros on He Kui's desk, their craftsmanship suggesting a cost similar to the one he had given her.
"I've been gradually perfecting them; making one each day doesn't take much time."
The robot was his disguise, not to be easily seen.
Even the materials were purchased separately and fashioned by He Kui himself.
Apart from Shi He, no one knew he was building a robot, or even if they did, they wouldn't know what it looked like.
Whether the peace talks broke down or not, what He Kui had to do remained the same.
"Tomorrow we'll start testing the precision radar. Before I left today, I checked, and all the components should have been delivered."
"Okay."
He Kui replied, noticing the girl's slight hesitation.
"What's wrong?"
"Your view is way better than mine!"
Sulei pouted, looking at the window with scattered stars outside.
"Isn't it the same?"
"You just don't understand. Do you know what that star outside is?"
"What star?"
"That's Vega!"
Sulei pointed her alabaster finger at the star brighter than the others, directly outside He Kui's window, in protest.
"Oh, really."
"Hmph, you didn't study astrogation well, did you? Be careful, or you'll get lost in space and cry."
"Isn't that why I have you, Director Su?"
"I'm not always going to be by your side!"
Sulei retorted, exasperated.
"Is that a problem?"
He Kui stepped forward, silencing Sulei's words.
With the experience from last time, He Kui's kiss was restrained, but Sulei, like a kitten tasting milk, hesitantly touched his lips with her soft tongue before quickly pulling back.
"And you called me a pervert."
With a slight gap between them, Sulei's sweet breath brushed his face like feathers.
"Idiot!"
Sulei stood on tiptoe, initiating another kiss, rubbing and nibbling at He Kui's lips like an angry kitten.
[Sulei is utterly captivated by your kiss.]

[Unlocked Academic: Interconnected Support System (0/10000)]
What is the Interconnected Support System? It seemed like a system for linking various weapons or defenses. Although he had done Haro's linked defenses before, it was limited to that.
If this system was completed, the coordination of his disguises and machine operations would likely be much smoother.
"Why are you smiling like a creep!"
As they parted, Sulei noticed He Kui's grin, and her face, already as rosy as the morning sky, blushed even more.
"If I'm a creep, are you a little creep?"
"Hmph!"
Sulei stomped on He Kui's foot with her petite heel, calming the fluttering in her heart.
"We'll be at Boaz soon; you better get ready!"
With that, Sulei left the room.
The two soon arrived at Boaz. In the massive hangar, the familiar figure of Boaz's staff officer stood at the entrance.
Their eyes met, and polite smiles spread across their faces.
"Director He, welcome back!"
"Director Su, welcome too."
Though equally enthusiastic, He Kui's name was mentioned first.
"Why did you trouble yourself to greet us, Staff Officer?"
"We're always delighted to have you two here, so we must show our sincerity."
"Thank you. How's the situation at Boaz recently?"
"Good, very good. With the light shields, the constant skirmishes have stopped. We have to go out to find Natural ships to fight, hahaha."
The staff officer patted He Kui's shoulder as he spoke.
"Well, I have things to attend to, so my adjutant will show you to your rooms."
"Thank you for the trouble."
The staff officer left after a few words, which didn't surprise He Kui. He had wanted to check the recent situation and was satisfied. Despite the staff officer's higher rank, he had been very accommodating.
This was the result of both parties wanting to build a rapport.
Since the radar was there, He Kui would inevitably need to visit under various pretexts.
If the staff officer could help facilitate this, it would be crucial.
Thus, Boaz's staff officer was someone He Kui had to win over.
At least until he had two billion and a secret asteroid to build his own radar station, this was the case.
The following days were peaceful, just as the staff officer had said. Boaz was much calmer than during the frequent disturbances before.
Today, their radar successfully completed signal transmission with the home receivers.
Soon, He Kui was on the new warship for testing, checking the ship and tracking mobile receivers.
"Director He, long time no see."
Seeing Tie Bi, whom he hadn't seen in a while, approach, He Kui felt relieved.
Who knew what measures the Alliance might take if they learned about an experiment in advance?
If not for the importance of directed energy communication and needing to test the Haro, he wouldn't have come.
After all, according to Erin, the last pilot was supposedly some kind of enhanced human.
Erin had spoken disdainfully about the Naturals' methods when explaining it to him.
As for He Kui, he was frightened.
Enhanced humans arriving early, and the opponent's enhanced humans being at least elite redcoat level, would make survival difficult if faced alone.
Even if the Eurasian Federation's main forces at Gibraltar had them, he might not be here now.
No matter how unexpected, it wouldn't affect his being just a regular redcoat level.
"The robot needs to be completed quickly."
Only then could it safely replace him outside.
Although five million was expensive, compared to precious life, He Kui felt it was worth it.
For now, it seemed prudent to ask the staff officer to send a couple more ships for escort, right?
