Zeke sighed, no wonder the lady was surprised at his actions. Now he would have to act accordingly so he doesn't blow his cover.
But definitely so many things would change now in Damion's lifestyle, starting from his numerous girlfriends and probably his career, because Zeke could already feel a headache as he thought of having to deal with all the girls obsessed with Damion and he can't see himself being in the in the limelight.
The amount of people earlier today had freaked him out, he just wasn't the type of person to lead the life of Damion.
Zeke removed the ring on his ear and touched the piercing and it closed up immediately, he raised his hand to his hair to change them back to it's normal dark color but stopped midway, if he does this now, the people outside may begin to wonder how he did it.
From what he knows from Damion's memories, this world doesn't seem to be believe in magic or unnatural things and he isn't ready to explain anything and bring himself out.
Zeke groaned in displeasure looking at his absurd appearance, he would definitely change it once he is out of there.
His brother arrived thirty minutes later and sent a guy to call him, Zeke recognized the person as Jess right handed man Flynn, so he quietly followed him into the car but he couldn't help but feel that something was off about the Flynn guy.
"I was told you were sick Damion" Jess voice sounded when he got in
"I'm actually good, do I look sick?"
However Jess didn't look at him "come closer" he said beckoned to Zeke.
Zeke was confused but nevertheless, he still brought his face closer to Jess.
Jess carefully brought his hand to touch Zeke's face with unfocused gaze "cold" he muttered
"When did you develop cold? Why didn't you say it earlier?" His brows creased in worry.
Zeke stared at him for a while and waved his hand Infront of Jess but his gaze remained fixed.
"A-are you blind?" Zeke asked in surprise and Jess's frown deepened at his question "Do you really have amnesia? You don't remember I have sight problems?"
Zeke didn't seem to see this in Damion's memories, he narrowed his eyes at Flynn who couldn't see him because he was on the driver's sit with his back facing them.
"Your condition is worse than I thought, we don't have to attend the family dinner today"
"Flynn drive to Palace Restaurant, let's have something over a brief meeting with the manager instead, while you go get Dr. Fred over" Jess declared.
"Are you seriously getting a doctor to examine me? I've said I'm fin-"
"Enough" Jess said sternly "you'd shut up and accompany me to the meeting and we would go home to meet Dr. Fred after that, no more talks"
Zeke was very perplexed, he was worried the doctor might find something off with him and as a prince he wasn't used to getting commanded.
Not knowing what to do he figured it's best he keeps his mouth shut for now and go with the flow.
They arrived at the restaurant and went in through a separate door to the VIP area, the manager, a young man named Jeff Alan had come rushing immediately he was notified of the boss's arrival.
Jess placed an order and the manager sent a waiter to inform the chef that she couldn't afford to make mistakes.
Zeke, not knowing what exactly to do just sat down and folded his arms, he read out some reports to Jess at times as he couldn't see. Thirty minutes passed and their order haven't arrived.
"Do you lack staff here? Does it take this much time to serve an order?" Jess asked the manager and just as he was about to respond, a waiter came in and whispered to him.
"Sir, there is a problem"
"What problem?"
"Would Mr. Klot like to have something else?.. um.. because the previous order has been.." the manager frowned and replied curtly
"Can you get to the piont?"
"Maybe the chef can explain better" the waiter bowed her head.
"Jeff is anything the problem?" Jess asked the manager yet again
"No Mr. Klot, we are having a bit of-" Jeff turned and whispered to the waiter "tell Agatha to get whatever here and right now!" the waiter left immediately and he turned back to Jess "there was a little delay but the issue is resolved now"
Jess was uncertain but it wasn't like he could actually see if there was any problem so he responded "if you say so, but be quick, I don't have all the time to spend here"
Meanwhile Zeke was sure he sensed a familiar power just then, Yuli! She was definitely around and she was already displaying herself? Zeke almost cussed under his breath, this girl was going to blow their cover if she keeps this on!
He was also glad to know that Yuli had also transmigrated with him, he wasn't in this particular world alone.
He stood up immediately to search for Yuli when he got called back.
"Damion?" Jess stretched his hand to touch him but noticed he was no longer by his side.
Zeke sighed and sat back down, he momentarily forgot that he couldn't leave Jess alone and the Flynn guy wasn't back, he went to get the doctor.
"I'm here" Zeke held his hand to let him know he was around.
Jess was actually surprised Damion was still sitted beside him quietly since they arrived, which was so unlike him. One thing Damion hated was being part of a meeting. And that too, a meeting that has nothing to do with him, he had not gone to use the rest room, check out something or give one of his endless excuses just to leave. Seems like he was really very sick.
Jess made a mental note to tell Dr. Fred not to take his treatment lightly.
