"Abel you really don't have to sneak up on me, why do you always do that? Are you following me?" Yuli asked in slight irritation.
Abel Reign, the crown prince who had appeared not long ago in conceal finally stepped out looking as dashing as always with his over the top dressing, he was clad in a royal blue robe and deep blue hair reaching all the way down to his lower back, he could be mistaken for a groom on his wedding day.
He pays quite much attention to his clothes and looks that Yuli sometimes wonder if he wanted to be a girl.
But there was nothing feminine about him except his slightly long lashes, glorious dressings and beautiful face that would make you think otherwise. His aura and demeanor isn't that of a girl's
"For the Princess of Winter Universe that you are.. you're quite the wanderer, you're never home" his voice carried a calm elegance and he stared deep into her eyes.
"Are you running away from someone? Who is the person?"
This prince always wants to unnerve her with his intimidating gaze but she met his stare even more intensely
"Are you sure you don't know who that person is Abel?" Yuli narrowed her eyes at him.
"Who is so capable of making my little sister not want to come home?" He asked in mock surprise "I'm quite curious, so there's someone you're scared of huh?"
"Yes I'm scared, I'm so scared of a certain someone that I would rather run off to coast forest than come home to the palace" she said, sarcasm evident in her tone "so that person should know better than to get on my nerves right now as my patience is very limited" even though she didn't raise her voice, the warning was pretty clear.
"What are you going to do? I really want to get to the limit of that patience" his eyes landed on her fingers and he made to touch her "your nails are long and nice, how'd you achieve them? Mine can't seem to grow past an inch"
"Who got hurt by touching who?" Yuli raised a brow.
His hand froze midway, and a little frown settled on his face
"Seems like someone is already getting old without a wife yet and will be needing a memory refresh" she smirked at him.
"Old.." he echoed with an unbelievable smile curving at his lips.
"Princess Yuli Reign" he moved back a few steps and spread his arms looking down at himself "I'm sure there are other suitable qualities you could describe me with considering my magnanimous beauty, gracing you with my appearance is already a blessing, don't you think?"
Yuli looked at the obnoxious man, he was undeniably handsome and would make both male and female turn heads but she wasn't going to give him any of it.
"And I'm the one who's ugly? Seems you've forgotten you're standing before the most beautiful and strongest being in Winter Universe" came her proud reply as she raised her head high.
Looking to have surrendered he sighed and Yuli turned to leave when he spoke again
"Seriously I need my nails long though, mind giving me a tip or two?"
"So you'd use them to dry my blood in the middle of the night?" She eyed him suspiciously.
"That could work also, nothing excites me more than your misfortune Yuli" he rolled his eyes.
"Are you going to help me or not?"
"For the crown prince you are, aren't you worrying too much about insignificant things Abel? Why fussing about nails?" He didn't respond.
"Fine give me your hand" she stretched fort hers, he hesitated
"Won't I get hurt? I don't need scars on my perfect skin" he asked timidly.
"Trust me, just place your fingers on my palm and close your eyes"
"No I'm not going to close my eyes, for all I know you may just chop off my fingers or I'll get burnt by your flames!"
Yuli sighed, yes people get burnt by touching her but not everyone. People with ill intention towards her are the ones who gets burnt, an innocent touch on her won't cause harm but she didn't let this fact get known, it saves her from unnecessary encounters and keep people away from her including potential danger, even though nothing or no one could be more dangerous than she herself.
It gets lonely at times but she needs peace whenever she wasn't on with those monsters.
"You can keep it open then" she took his fingers in her palms and closed them together.
Abel felt fire at the tip of his fingers and was surprised it didn't hurt, just a little hotness which made him feel weird, it lasted for few seconds and she released his hand.
Lifting his fingers to his gaze the surprise was visible on his usually stoic face.
"Are these my.. fingers?"
"No they are mine" Yuli pressed her lips together
"Is there something you can't do" he asked in amazement, looking at his now long fingers still glowing from the fading flames.
"Yes"
"And what's that?" he looked really curious
"Find out yourself" she smirked.
"I know you know I'm at coast forest, how you found out though.. I'm not interested in knowing now but I'll see you around. I need solitude" leaving behind her last few words she disappeared.
Abel looked at his fingers and smiled, finally he could continue moving his powers to somewhere else apart from his hair. His eyes flashed around in alertness and before he could make a move, he disappeared, cussing under his breath like he had expected that to happen.
But.. he didn't look like he wanted to, it seemed like an external force pulled him forcibly.
Yuli who was still around in conceal, had a frown and suspicious gaze as she watched what just happened. Appearing back to where she was with Abel, she bent down and scooped the dust under his feet where he had been standing to trail him with it after a little break, because for some reason she couldn't sense him anywhere around in Winter Universe.
