Liora's heart broke and her eyes widened with shock at her fathers words. The two guards nodded and moved foward, each holding a silver shining sword in hand.
'N-no way...' Liora thought as she watched the guards approach her.
With weak strength she stood up from the floor, her eyes streaming with tears, her eyes narrowing in hatred and pure rage. Liora clenched her fists at her sides as she raised her head and yelled in a loud voice:
"Wait!!"
The guards stopped themselves from striking her down, their blades nearing her neck, just stopping mere inches from her throat. Everyone stopped in their tracks and looked back at Liora, her father had an annoyed expression on his face, while her mother had a neutral-emotionless expression.
"Let me prove myself! Let me actually tame a beast!" Liora demanded, her voice echoing off the walls.
The duke laughed, clutching his face "You?Tame a beast?" He burst into maniacal laughter, Lisa's eyes widened, seeing the monster her father actually was for the first time.
"Sure,why not." He said, as he snapped his fingers again and his personal buttler walked into the room.
"Purchase a monster from the black market." He ordered as he tossed a few gold coins into his hands. The butler bowed and excused himself before rushing out of the room.
The guards stepped back from Liora as Liora's father walked up to her, his eyes filled with hatred he towered over her. He forcefully grabbed Liora's chin and stared deep into her eyes "I'm going to enjoy seeing you get eaten alive." He said as he threw her back on the floor.
'Damn old man! I'll kill you for this, i swear it!' Liora vowed internally as she watched her father walk back to the others.

After a while the butler returned, his hand gripped tightly around a leash that kept a huge beast from escaping. Liora's heart skipped a beast as she laid her eyes on the terrifying creature, it was a huge sabertooth tiger, with dark blue fur covering it's body.
"Your grace." The butler said as he whispered into the duke's ear "This was the weakest monster i could find, it's around D-Rank."
Lisa's ears perked up as she heard the butler's muffled whispers, immediately she spoke up:
"D-Rank? That's too much for her too handle, she'll get killed!" Lisa protested, but a sharp glare from her father had her quiet. Even as one of the strongest people in the kingdom, she couldn't dare speak up against her father, which made her feel weak and ashamed of herself.
"Besides," the duke shrugged, unbothered "She was going to die anyway, there's absolutely no way, i'd let a disgrace like her live in this household."
The butler nodded and released the sabertooth beast, it slowly began to crawl towards Liora, it's gaze predatory as it's paws pounded on the sleek white floors.
Liora stood tall, her short and young frame determined to prove her abilities.
"Come here.." Liora whispered as she took slow steps forward, she wasn't good with animals, let alone beasts that could tear you to shreds.
The sabertooth roared underneath it's breath as it slowly approached her, the roars growing louder as it neared her witn every step. Liora hesitantly reached her hand forward to pet the Beast, but unexpectedly, the monster roared loudly as it rushed towards her.
The duke smirked, already expecting this outcome "Foolish girl." He said as he turned his back to save himself from the gruesome sight.
"[Tame]!!" Liora closed her eyes and shouted at the top of her lungs, a warm green magic circle forming on the surface of her finger tips, pulsing with a comforting presence.
The sabertooth stopped, it's jaws mere inches away from Liora's face. Slowly it backed away and kneeled, feeling Liora's wish to befriend it and stay together.
Liora slowly opened her eyes to see the monster kneeling before her, a strange feeling coarsed through her body as she felt connected to the beast. She could feel all it's emotions and pain.
"There there," Liora said as she kneeled and gently patted the beast, to her delight it purred like a cat which made her happy.

'A name huh?' Liora thought as she began to contemplate for a bit
"How about Saber? It's easy to remember and it's what you are, of course." She asked the beast and it roared into her touch as if approving of it.

'Elite Pet? Does that mean every pet i name will be recognized as Elite?' She asked the system.

Immediately, Saber's fur began to glow a bright blue colour as it's fur began to shine, she could feel her Pet's power skyrocket as it's abilities were multiplied by 10x from the [A Master's Blessing Talent] and the Elite Pet Name's 50%(x10).
Her father's angry and hateful expression melted away as he gazed at Liora and her new Pet, everyone was stunned, mouth wide agape, unable to express words to convey her shock.
"S-she tamed it?" The duke muttered in utter disbelief, but his eyes didn't lie. Lisa's eyes shined witn hope and joy, she was so proud of her sister, tears unconsciously flowed from her eyes as she hoped that Liora could be spared.
Liora's mother blinked, for the first time she actually started to show emotion as she saw Liora next to her new Pet, she wanted to say something, but was interrupted as the Duke made the first move.
"Liora! My, have we been mistaken." He said as he began to walk towards her, a dark glint in his eyes as he recognized Liora's true Beast Taming abilities.
Saber turned around and began to growl under it's breath, ready to defend Liora in a heartbeat. The duke was suprised as he studied Saber for a moment, he could tell something was up with Liora's Low-Tier Beast Taming Magic. He could feel the power coming off from Saber, the mere D-Ranked beast was now atleast C-Rank or if not B-Rank.
"Your magic is truly something wonderful, will you forgive this foolish father for the way he treated you on this special day? your birthday."
Liora grit her teeth, she couldn't believe how shameless her father was. Just a moment ago he was fully prepared to kill her, and now he's acting all nice?
Liora had already made up her mind, she decided that she wasn't going to stay in this house anymore. She jumped onto the back of Saber, much to everyone's suprise.
"Go! Let's get out of here!" She commanded and Saber roared before dashing to the nearest window and leaped through the glass, leaving everyone shocked and in a daze.
A few seconds went by with everyonr trying to process the situation, then with a voice full of rage, the duke shouted:
"CAPTURE THEM!!!"
