Many dead bodies of Trents lay scattered across the floor, Liora and her small team of Trents had just cleared the second floor. She was now at Level 30, and had over a hundred thousand Beast Points to spend.
"Alright, let's start distributing some points." Liora muttered to herself as she opened her status window.

Liora grinned at the amount of Stat Points, and equally divided them among her six stats, adding 60 points to them all, bringing them all to 340.
'I do have a lot of Beast Points right now, and while it's really tempting to buy a new skill, I might need it later in the Boss Room to buy something useful, so I'll just save up more for now.'
Liora thought as she closed her status window. She then proceeded to walk deeper into the dungeon and make her way towards the third floor, her small Trent team, and Talon close by her side.
After a few minutes of walking, Liora and her small team arrived at the stairs that would take them up to the third floor. Liora swiftly climbed the stairs and had arrived on the third floor, but to her surprise, she wasn't greeted with any enemies.
"Strange.." Liora whispered to herself, taking off her Fox Mask to better scan the area and allow herself to breathe better.
"Talon, be on guard, something is definitely up with this floor, there's just no way a floor would be empty like this." Liora said as she started to walk again, her footsteps slow and careful, her eyes darting around the place in preparation for a surprise attack, but she didn't find any of that, making her somewhat anxious.
Liora slipped her Fox Mask on and started to concentrate hard on her hearing, in hopes of hearing some movement or anything out of the ordinary, but all she heard was nothing, pure, unsettling, silence.
"This might be a bit weird..but…" Liora thought as she knelt down on the floor, and began to use her second sense, smell.
Liora concentrated hard and sniffed the ground, immediately she jumped up from the ground as she picked up the foul stench of the goblins, meaning that they were definitely here.
The sensation was strange, as Liora felt like a Beast in a way, more like a fox. She quickly found the trail of the scent the goblins had, and it led even deeper into the creepy, silent, third floor.
Liora steeled herself mentally as she began to move through the third floor, still a bit anxious about the whole situation. After a short while of walking, Liora reached the stairs that would take her to the fourth floor.
As Liora climbed the stairs and entered the fourth floor, she was surprised to find that this floor also had no monsters roaming in them.
With every step she took, and every second that passed, Liora found the silence more and more unbearable, it had her on edge, and scared for a surprise attack that may come out of nowhere.
"Hm?" Liora hummed in confusion, seeing two green silhouettes in the distance. Liora concentrated her vision by narrowing her eyes, and the image she was seeing was much more detailed than before.
"Goblins!" Liora exclaimed happily after finally seeing some monsters, immediately Liora took off, dashing toward the two goblins that were standing in front of the Boss Room.
–----
The sounds of footsteps pounding echoed through the fourth floor, the guards looked at each other as they both heard the sounds. One of the guards narrowed their eyes as a small figure started to run up to them, the guard frowned as they spoke in annoyance:
"Did another goblin just arrive late!?" The guard spoke in an angry tone, "They were supposed to be here a while ago!"
"Calm down, maybe the Beast Tamer will have mercy on this one." The other guard spoke.
When the figure arrived closer, they noticed that they weren't alone, but with other monsters behind them. This made the first guard more furious, as he wanted to go and kill that stupid goblin.
"Wait a minute.."
The first guard muttered as he saw that this small figure wasn't a goblin, they had long golden hair and wore an adventurer uniform, "Is that a human?" The guard asked as it looked at Liora approaching, "And they're a Beast Tamer as well?"
"Doesn't matter, we'll crush them!" The second guard said.
–-------
Liora arrived in front of the Boss Room, which was guarded by two giant goblins. Liora appraised them and found them to be quite strong, but still a bit weaker than her Trent team, and way weaker for Talon as well.
But they possessed a skill that put Liora on high alert, called [Beserk], she already knew from just reading the name of the skill, that this goblin wasn't going to go down easily.
"Intruder!" The first guard shouted in anger, grupping its club tightly as it started to approach Liora with heavy steps, the ground trembling slightly with each step.
Liora grinned as she took a few steps back, letting her Trents handle this. The Trents moved forward, forming a wall and drawing out their tentacles.
"What is this!? You dare bring such trash to face me?" The goblin snorted, "Fine then, you shall die where you stand!" The goblin yelled as it charged at the Trents in front of Liora.
The Trents shot out their tentacles and latched onto the goblin, with some of them stabbing into the chest of the goblin, but not causing much damage due to their thick skin and hard muscles, making them very durable.
The goblin grunted in anger as it began to resist the pull of the Trents, but not succeeding much, as they were not only stronger, but also more in number. The goblin planted its feet into the ground and tried even harder, but was dragged towards them, slowly, but surely.
The other guard goblin saw that its friend was facing some trouble, and immediately stepped in. Running up to the Trents and leaping high into the air, raising its club high, preparing to slam it hard on the Trents from above.
The Trents looked up to see the goblin coming down at them, they let go of the first goblin and quickly moved their tentacles to grab the other one, all of them wrapping around its arm tightly and throwing him into a nearby wall.
Presented with the opportunity, the first goblin swiftly moved up to the Trents, raised its club, and slammed them hard into the Trents. The force of the hit caused great damage to a few of the Trents, some breaking a bit, their bodies filled with cracks as their defenses were now low, making them very vulnerable.
The second goblin activated its [Beserk] Skill, its body bulking up even more and growing a bit taller, a bright red aura emanated from the Goblin as its power rose fiercely, the ground beneath it cracking, its eyes turning a deep crimson colour.
The First goblin looked at its friends and grinned maliciously, looking back at Liora with evil eyes "It's over for you!" The goblin yelled as it also activated [Beserk], powering up alot.
'Shit…' Liora thought as she appraised them once more, and found their stats to have risen over 5000 and slowly still rising with every second, at the cost of their sanity as their Intelligence was draining away quickly.
The two goblins, now mad with uncontrollable rage, roared in unison, the power in their voices enough to spread cracks all over the walls, making Liora cover her ears as they were very sensitive to sound now with her Fox Mask equipped.
The first goblin dashed at the Trents with swift speed, despite their huge size and muscle weight, they weren't slowed down. With a quick, and powerful swing of its club, the Trents were instantly obliterated.
With the Trents out of the way, the goblins shifted their attention to Liora and Talon now. The goblins then swiftly charged at her, raising their clubs to kill her. Liora quickly jumped to the side of the wall, channeled her magic into her feet to stick to the wall, before jumping upwards with all her strength and landing on the ceiling.
The clubs of the goblins hit the wall hard as they missed Liora, causing a huge crack and making them more frustrated as they had missed their target. Talon decided that it had enough and quickly flew off Liora's shoulder.
Talon roared as it activated [Bird's Roar] a bright golden light forning in its beak, before roaring once more and unleashing the skill, a strong force slamming into the goblins and causing a huge explosion.
Dust clouds spread everywhere from the force of the explosion, making it very hard to see. Liora jumped down from the ceiling, and landed on the ground swiftly. She didn't receive a notification about the goblins dying, so she knew that they were still alive.
A loud roar boomed from the dust and the dust clouds vanished, revealing the same two goblins, bleeding furiously and heavily injured, but they still refused to give up, their anger and pride not allowing them to.
"Talon! Once more! But make sure not to kill them!" Liora shouted.
'These guys are very strong, they'll be very useful to me.'
