"That looks good." Liora said to herself as she checked herself out, she was dressed in a elegant dress adorned with gold and blue patterns. A small necklace with a shiny blue sapphire gem, hanged around her neck, and she wore a pair of neat brown shoes.
Liora then sighed in dissatisfaction as she recalled the events of the past few minutes, when Mira took off Liora's shirt, the burn marks of her father came into view, which scared Mira and made her really worried.
Mira then quickly left the room and ran off to go find a healer, leaving Liora to get herself dressed, which she didn't mind.
Liora walked over to window and looked outside into the courtyard, there were her two brothers, Carl and Lance, training diligently with their instructors. Liora's expression turned sour as she watched her brothers, remembering the sheer hate she holds for them.
She quickly closed the curtains and flopped onto the bed, staring at the ceiling of her room with a lost expression. Just when she was about to close her eyes and drift off into her thoughts, the door to her room swung open.
Liora turned her head to see Mira, along with a healer dressed up like a priestess, with a long white robe adorned with golden patterns, and a long staff. "Greetings, Ms. Liora." The priestess greeted with a bow, "I am a healer of the Royal Capital's church, here to treat your injuries."
Liora got off her bed, and walked up to the priestess. Mira then helped her with removing her dress, leaving her in her undergarments, the burned wounds on her stomach at full display.
"These are really serious burns, how did you get them?" The priestess asked with a concerned expression, Mira too wanted to know, she clenched the hem of her maid outfit as she steeled herself for what Liora was going to say.
"...." Liora remained silent, she didn't know whether to tell them or not since this was a personal matter. A few seconds went by with Liora not saying anything, the priestess understood the weight Liora must be enduring.
"I understand if this is too personal for you, I won't probe you further." The Priestess said as she gently pressed the end of her staff on Liora's stomach and begin muttering an incantation.
A soft green glow emanated from her staff, Liora felt a comforting warmth spread through her body as her wounds began to heal, the once rough and ugly burns marks once tarnishing her fair skin, was now replaced by new smooth and delicate skin.
"There," The priestess said as she smiled at her work, "All done. That looks so much better now." She said as she rose to her feet from her kneeling earlier.
Liora unconsciously moved her small hands to caress the soft flesh of her stomach, her eyes wide with amazement. "Thank you.." Liora said to the priestess, her tone carrying a ton of gratitude. A small smile displayed on her face.
"Anytime, I am glad for the opportunity to serve the Rohart Family." The Priestess said as she collected her payment from Mira and excused herself before leaving.
"I also have to leave now, I have to attend to my duties." Mira excused herself before she left the room as well.
Liora stared at the door for a few seconds, before walking to the edge of her bed and sitting down on it.
'Yesterday, I've accumulated a lot of Beast Points. It's time I take a look inside the Shop.' Liora thought as she opened up her Status Window and opened the Shop feature.
The screen interface changed as it then showed a variety of options for her to choose from, ranging from weapons, to armour, to Skills, Items, and many other things.
'Woah! This Shop is packed!' Liora exclaimed inwardly as she then Scrolled on the weapons menu. Daggers, swords, spears, axes and much more were available, each with their own prices and level requirements.
'It seems i can't just buy anything, i would also need to be strong enough to use it.' Liora sighed.
"System, what Skill could i afford to buy?" Liora asked.
[Golem Summoning]
[Description: Summon Golems made from tough stone, these monsters are very durable and can take a lot of damage before being destroyed. The Golems are very strong and can be used for various tasks.]
[Cost: 3000 Beast Points]
[Level Requirement: 10]
[Would Host Like To Purchase This Skill?]
[Yes] or [No]
'Golems, huh? That would certainly be useful for a lot of stuff. Alright, I'm buying this.'
"Yes" Liora confirmed with an excited voice, her eyes beaming.
[New Skill Unlocked: Golem Summoning Lv1]
'Perfect!' Liora thought as she rose from her bed, clenching her fists in determination.
She really wanted to try out her new Skill as soon as possible, so she moved to the middle of the room where the most was. Immediately, she cast her new [Golem Summoning] Skill, a green magic circle materializing on the floor, and out of it, 10 Huge Rock Golems that resembled a human physique emerged.
Liora's jaw hung open as she stared at the Rock Golems that were now towering over her, standing at an impressive 7ft. Their rocky limbs grinding against each other like blades as they observed their surroundings, before their non-existent gaze fell upon Liora.
These 10 figures were the size of her bedroom ceiling, true giants. "Status, show me their Status" Liora commanded the system hastily.
[Name: (Blessed) Rock Golems Lv1]
[Strength: 500] [Defense: 1000]
[Agility: 250] [Intelligence: 300]
[Skills]
[Armour Crystallization Lv1]
'These stats are good, but the Skill is what intrigues me the most.' Liora thought as she observed their 10x Increase in power, inwardly commanding the system to give a description of the Skill.
[Armour Crystallization: Forms tough crystals to cover the bodies of the Rock Golems, increases Defense by 50%(x10).]
'Oh this is really good! They'll be almost indestructible.' Liora nodded in satisfaction.
Liora then deactivated the Skill as she felt a bit tired after using [Golem Summoning], the giant Rock Golems disappearing in a flash.
"Maybe when i have enough Beast Points should i begin to upgrade my Skills." Liora muttered to herself as she then walked over to her window and looked outside again, noticing her brothers, along with their instructors, beginning to enter the house.
'It seems their done with today's lessons, i think it's time for breakfast already.' Liora thought to herself.
As Liora continued to stare outside the window, the door swung open and Lisa walked into the room. Liora swiftly turned around and smiled upon seeing Lisa, "Good morning Li-" Liora was abruptly interrupted as Lisa greeted her with a warm hug.
"Good morning to you too, little sister." Lisa greeted in a warm voice, wrapping her arms around Liora even tighter, and making her choke for air.
"L-Lisa, i can't breathe!" Liora managed to whimper, and Lisa finally let her go as she dropped onto her knees and gasped for air.
"Oops, sorry." Lisa apologized with an awkward laugh.
"You should really stop that, you could end up killing me one day, seriously." Liora glared at Lisa once she finally recovered from her earlier suffocation.
"Anyways, It's time for breakfast already. Do you wish to come eat with us?" Lisa asked Liora as she helped her stand up.
Liora blinked at her question and stared at her with wide eyes, she clenched her teeth as anger began to boil inside her.
"No! I don't want to eat with those bastards! They can all go and screw themselves! I hate them! All of them!" Liora yelled in frustration.
"Alright, i understand. Would you like me to bring your breakfast here instead?" Lisa asked.
Liora calmed down after she heard that, but shook her head "No, it's fine. You can just ask Mira to do it." Liora said.
Lisa flashed a cheeky grin, walking towards the door "I'll do it myself, i don't want a maid to everything for my little sister." Lisa said as she walked out the door, and began making her way to the dining hall.
Liora smiled and sat on her bed, kicking her legs playfully as she waited for Lisa to return.
