The sun rose brightly over Konoha as Team 7 gathered at the entrance of the village, preparing for the upcoming Chuunin Exams. Sakura looked around at her teammates, determination etched on her face. "I know I might hold everyone back, but I want to participate," she declared. "If I don't, the whole team can't move forward."
Naruto nodded enthusiastically, his usual optimism shining through. "Of course, Sakura! We're a team, and we'll support you no matter what!"
Sasuke glanced at her and offered a quiet, "Thanks, Sakura." His tone was straightforward, yet there was an underlying respect in his words.
Meanwhile, Hyuk stood off to the side, watching a figure in green spandex performing an excessive number of sit-ups right in front of them. What is wrong with that guy? he thought, bemused. Does he have no chakra? Is he just focusing on taijutsu?
Just then, the green-clad ninja abruptly stood up, his grin wide and infectious as he turned to Team 7. "Hello! I am Rock Lee!" he announced with an enthusiastic flair. "And you must be Sakura! I love you! It's love at first sight!"
Sakura's eyes widened in shock, and she instinctively smacked him on the back of the head. "I belong to Sasuke!" she retorted, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Sasuke cringed at the public declaration but kept his mouth shut, not wanting to escalate the situation. Hyuk, still slightly incredulous, turned his gaze back to Lee, noticing the seriousness in Neji's expression nearby.
Neji, from Team 3, observed the interactions with a hint of intrigue. He had heard of the prodigies of Konoha, and now he stood before two of them: Sasuke and Hyuk. He could feel the weight of their skills, the potential challenges they represented. "I look forward to fighting you," he stated, addressing both Sasuke and Hyuk, his tone resolute.
Sasuke grinned, "Same here. I hope you're ready."
Hyuk, however, remained focused on Lee's bizarre antics, wondering what kind of person would challenge their strength with such an unorthodox approach.
Lee, not one to be deterred, turned his attention to Sasuke, his eyes sparkling with determination. "Sasuke! I challenge you to a duel! I want to see the strength of a true prodigy!"
Sasuke raised an eyebrow, considering the enthusiastic boy in front of him. "Sure, bring it on," he replied, crossing his arms.
Sakura looked worriedly between her teammates and Lee, feeling the tension build. "Just remember to be careful, Sasuke," she warned, her voice laced with concern.
Hyuk couldn't help but smirk at the situation, amused by the unfolding drama. The Chuunin Exams were set to be an interesting spectacle, and he was ready to see how far his team would go, even with the odd characters they were encountering. The thought of the challenges ahead filled him with anticipation as they prepared to enter the arena of competition.
