Emma arched a brow, curious. "A game of dares?"
"Yeah. Safe ones, of course. You dare me, I dare you. Let's see who chickens out first," he said and Emma chuckled, feeling the buzz of the evening's mood.
Again, a huge part of her screamed at her, telling her to say no and return to her room, but she only decided to listen to the part that told her it was just a harmless game.
"Alright, but don't regret starting this. You go first," she said, against her better judgment.
Alex tapped his chin thoughtfully before grinning. "Okay, I dare you to serenade me softly. Pick a love song and sing it just for me."
Emma's cheeks flushed slightly, but she wasn't one to back down. She cleared her throat and, with a shy smile, began singing a line from a romantic ballad. Her voice was soft, almost a whisper, but the melody was captivating, drawing Alex in with every line.
