Like all stories, this one too, has a beginning. Everything started from nothing. In the dark and empty void that is now known as "space", something lit up. A light so bright, yet cold, illuminated the whole void of nothingness, and from it came the first deity, The Theon of Creation. Its ability was beyond understanding. The capability of manufacturing only by using plain thought. Every "star" and every "planet" that exists in the "sky" today was manufactured in mere seconds by its "creation".Â
And like the planets and the stars, it was the one that gave life to the next Theon. The second most powerful deity was The Theon of life. The young Theon's power was one lesser than creation. The capability of using existing materials and sculpturing them in the form of a vessel, then giving that empty shell a soul, and exactly that, was the gift of life.Â
After his birth, the Theon of Creation gave him a planet. The young one's purpose was to create life on that planet, to manufacture other living beings that could later live on their own, repopulate, expand, and form a "civilization." That was how far he was allowed to use his powers. He did not know why he was supposed to do that, only knew how. The young one thought this planet was special since his father had entrusted her to him, and that is why the young one treasured her. As a founding Theon, the Creator had many responsibilities, one of them being to watch the rest of the Theons which he later on created, and that was the reason why the young one was always alone since his father almost never had time for him.Â
His journey of creation started on a small remote island. He did not want to make any mistakes and ruin the whole planet, so starting there was his best choice. An extremely long "time" after he had started experimenting without his father, he thought to himself that he was alone for far too long. His conclusion was to stop spending time with the petty creatures his father obliged him to create, and instead, use his powers and create a Theon of his own. Someone to have fun with.Â
To do that, he would have to find the perfect vessel and then somehow manage to give it his Theon-like abilities. He conducted experiments on various creatures that he made on that planet. That same planet that was gifted to him.Â
The one species that stood out the most, the one who throughout his journey of creation, continued to evolve rapidly, seemed to be the best fit. "Humans".Â
The young one was a Theon, and humans could not see him, and to achieve his goal, he needed to somehow be visible to them. The solution to this problem was simple. He transformed into something that humans could see. The creature he chose was an "animal" that the humans were "afraid" of, a "snake," a slithering creature that the young one had created long before humans. That feeling of fear was the only one human knew, and it was what gave birth to their "emotions." The young one wanted to give the chosen one a choice. To decide if he wanted to side with his creator and become just like him or not.Â
So, he chooses one out of many. A "male". He slithered near the human when he was alone in a forest. When the human saw the snake, he suddenly felt threatened. He reached his hand on the ground and held a large rock. As the snake slithered closer and closer the human felt something. The young one could feel it as well. The human act of fear suddenly stopped as he no longer felt that. Instead, a warm and pleasant sensation filled him deeply. The snake was now slithering on top of the human, and that was when he accepted his fate. That was the answer that the young one expected.Â
So, the Theon bit him, transferring the abilities through the snake's poison. Then he took his original form again and watched as the human ascended. The human body started shaking. The heavy wind blew around him, so heavy that it created a windstorm that ripped the grass and the trees from the forest. A never seen before "element" of nature.Â
The young one would soon find out that the human he chose was not compatible. He had witnessed his creation's destruction. The human body quickly melted into a thick black fluid. As this strange fluid began to swiftly spread, he got a feeling that it could harm the whole planet if it stayed uncontaminated, so he decided to keep it contained somewhere far away where no one could reach it.Â
The young one's purpose as a Theon had changed. Instead of creating life, he desired to create the next Theon. To do that, he would have to start experimenting again, and he did. Before doing so, he gathered them all in the destroyed forest and ordered them to prepare for "The Day" when he would come back. That was the last time humans saw that young Theon. With that being their soul purpose of living, they continued evolving.Â
