Mikael froze after he went through the entire panel, and a cold shiver ran up his spine.

An Auror at the peak stage of the 6th Profound Realm able to display the combat power of an Auror in the early stage of the Spirit Manifestation Realm? How ridiculous?!

And the Skill Set made him feel a little dizzy.

If this man came after his life, would he even survive?

Mikael's head was buzzing now as the horses ran wild.

{Relax Host. You have a System. As long as you plunder his Fate Value, and steal his opportunities and women who are meant for him, you will be able to take him down.}

Hearing the mechanical voice, he calmed down a lot.

[Ding! You have received two new Tasks]

[Task #2: Prevent the Son of Luck from acquiring the Galaxy Hotel and Casino in today's Auction. Reward: Random]

[Task #3: Steal the Supporting Character, Ginny Harper, who is the sister of Aaron's late brother-in-arms, John Harper, a High School Student at Bloomfield High School, and who is supposed to become a part of the Son of Luck's Harem. The host must sleep with her and make her fall for him to complete this task. Reward: Random]

"Galaxy Hotel and Casino?" He was surprised as it was already his target in today's Auction. "Nice!"

He quickly typed a message and sent it to his team, asking them to look into the details of Ginny Harper.

"System, Aaron is Boris Sterling's bastard? Ryan's Uncle?"

{Yes, Host.}

"Does Old Boris know about it?"

{No, Host. He believes the girl and her son were both killed. Aaron's mother was a high school student who needed money to pay off her father's gambling debts. Boris took advantage of it and kept her as his sugar baby for a year. When he felt that he was growing too fond of her, he discarded her. She left the city with a broken heart and returned to her village, where she gave birth to Aaron. Six years later, when Boris's son, Robert, learnt about their existence, he sent men to kill her and the boy to avoid any future complications with the Family Inheritance. Boris sent his own men to protect them, but they failed. The mother and a boy were killed in the fire. He grieved their loss but did not want to fall out with his son and harm his family, so he kept quiet about it.}

"What about Aaron?"

{He knows that Boris is his Father, and he knows that it was the Sterling Family that killed his mother and tried to kill him.}

"So he wants to destroy his father and the Sterling Family."

{Yes, Host.}

"Interesting..." His eyes gleamed in evil thoughts. "Anything more?"

{No, Host. More information will consume Fate Value. The System suggests that you do not spend too much of it. To deal with Sons of Destiny, you need to keep accumulating Fate Value. Otherwise, the Host will meet misfortune or an unfortunate end}

His face darkened at those words and he furrowed his brows.

"What's wrong?" Raeya, who caught him wearing a sullen expression, gently asked.

"Nothing. Just thinking about what my enemies are up to."

"You think too much." She rolled her eyes and smiled as Alison secured another property that Mikael wanted.

Finally, right before the lunch, one of the most sought-after properties was put on auction.

The Owner of the Galaxy Hotel and Casino wanted to move out of the country and was selling his properties, including all his Commercial Real Estate in Dragonia. Therefore, he had chosen this occasion to auction one of his most prized properties and companies.

Mikael did not want this Hotel and Casino with the intention of selling it. He wanted to hold it and keep it. He needed a famous Commercial Real Estate under his company's banner, and the Galaxy Hotel and Casino was perfect.

As soon as the auction began, its price sharply shot up to 160 million from the initial bid of 100 Million.

And it was then that Alison entered the game.

"165 Million from #88!"

Raeya, when she saw that Alison had raised her card, was shocked. She did not remember this property being marked by Mikael.

"You want it?" She apprehensively asked.

"Yes."

She frowned a little as she knew that the price would likely end up higher than its market value, which was 377 Million Draks.

Did he really have that much money to spare? Especially since he planned on acquiring even more properties later in the auction.

Despite her doubts and curiosity, she kept quiet and observed the situation.

Sure enough, 15 minutes later, the price hit 400 Million Draks, and the person who made the next bid was someone she was familiar with.

It was her Grandfather's trusted subordinate who submitted the bid of 415 Million Draks.

"Why is your family going after it?" Mikael suddenly asked, and she shook her head in confusion.

She too thought that the Albonns would be fighting for the properties of the Jenning's Group, the Golden Pot in this Auction, but things seemed to be different.

Raeya noticed that her Grandfather was happily talking to a young man by his side, who was acting to be obedient.

Yes, acting. She was sure it was all an act.

"You should pull back. 420 Million is too much." She advised Mikael after her Grandfather placed the latest bid.

"No. It's still within control." He furrowed his brows and sent a message to Alison.

She was very relieved after she read it, and immediately followed with another bid.

Alexander and Aaron's faces turned sullen when they saw the girl still raising the price, and everyone else in the Hall was curious as well about the origins of these three people who had claimed some really interesting properties today.

Only the Sterling Family seemed to know who these three people belonged to, and they kept glancing towards Maria and Mikael Zarayne.

They probably believed that Zaraynes were targeting the Albonns, and they were more than happy to enjoy the show.

Mikael's phone suddenly started ringing, and he curiously picked it up.

"What are you doing?" His mother coldly asked, and he sighed in his heart.

"Don't worry about it. I have the money to go for it."

"How?"

"I am not sharing my business secrets, Mother. By the way, are you going for the properties I marked for you or not?" He asked, and his mother remained silent on the other end.

"Are you sure about them?"

"Positive."

"We will see. Oh, and the mysterious young man next to your Grandfather-in-law appeared out of nowhere yesterday. Alexander even gave him the Nightfall Club. His name is Aaron. Ask Raeya if she knows who this person is."

"She has never seen him before."

"I see. You should still be mindful. The price you are playing at now is no small amount."

"I am aware of my limits, Mother." He assured her.

By the time their call ended, the Auditorium was solemnly quiet. And it was because the latest bid that Alison submitted was 460 Million Draks.

Only one person at the venue was ecstatic, and it was Mr. Richard Goldman, the owner of the Galaxy Casinos.

He probably never imagined that his treasured property would fetch him this much money.

Mikael saw Alexander wearing a cold expression as he shook his head to his subordinate, and seeing the ugly expression on Aaron's face, it was clear that the fight was over.

"460 Million Draks! Sold to the Ravenstreet Real Estates!" The City Lord's secretary cleverly announced the name of the company that everyone in the room was curious about, and this was meant to set the media on fire and give the event more coverage.

"Heh... My Grandfather is going to hate you even more once he learns that Ravenstreet Real Estates belong to you." Raeya teased him, and seeing him helplessly shrug, she laughed.

"By the way, that guy is named Aaron. Does it right a bell?"

"No."

"I see. Well, according to what Mom has told me, he appeared out of nowhere yesterday and your Grandfather even gave him the Nightfall Club. He owns it now."

"What?"

Raeya looked at him in shock and then furrowed her brows as she looked towards her Grandfather, who was getting up from his seat.

"It should be him..."

"Who?"

"I will tell you about it after getting back home." She sighed. "Let's go. We will have lunch with Mother and Anaiah."

He smiled when she called Maria "Mother".

"Go, join them. I have to deal with something and will meet you in half an hour."

"Okay."

Mikael waited until he saw Rayeya meet up with his mother and Anaiah, and then he walked straight towards the City Lord's Office to finalise the purchases.

He did not want to take any chances and wait until the end of the Auction.

The fact that he had not heard the prompt that the task was completed was already worrying him a little.
