Maris's pov
Chit chat echoed through out the massive hall of the dormitory lined in elegant wood trim and the warm glow of afternoon sunlight as my heels clacked along and I clasped my purse lost in thought.
i spent last night talking to Kate - my best friend on the the phone and I filled her in in what happened from the day I told Jude about my feelings to yesterday. Honestly I really want to convince him that I'm a good girl and I would do anything to make him happy cause he keeps making me confused. I don't understand why he doesn't want to be in a relationship but still wouldn't let me talk to other guys
it almost knocked me off when he called me his girlfriend. The sound of it rolling from his tongue sent shivers down my spine. Perhaps he cared more than I thought.
However just as I'm board with the idea that we could be more than best friends. He throws me a curve ball and mentions he wants to see other people.
I was still in deep thoughts when my cellphone beeped.
ping
I pulled out my cell and i saw a text from an unknown number which I later realized was my ex.
"Hi Maris please can we talk?"
At first I didn't want to reply but I decided to know what he wants to talk about.

Clouds cluttered the sky barely allowing any blue to give way. The chill of winter air grased my bare legs and colored leaves rustled across the lawn as I trailed along
Two steaming white mugs sat across from one another on a high top metal table one belonging to me and the other to an empty chair.
Chattering customers surrounded me combined with whirring machines and grinders behind the counter.
Freshly grounded beans flooded my lungs and despite the pleasant warm scent, the blood in my veins grew more bitter than the brewed espresso shots inside the shop with each minute I sat In wait. However it was not due to the waiting but because of who I was waiting for.
The shop bell rang suddenly as it's glass door opened. Bliss appeared in its frame immediately locking eyes with me across the room, his black leather jacket was absent and instead a plump green button up and his usual pair of sneakers and shiny leather belt.
He trailed across the tile floor while approaching the table he pulled out the empty chair.
"Coffee huh?" he asked wrapping his fingertips around his hot mug.
"Like our first date"
"Don't get sentimental"I growled
His slight smile faded into a frown.
"How are you?"
"How do you think I am"
Guilt clouded Bliss's eyes and nothing but silence answered.
"Look Maris I'm sorry"
"I've heard that before"
"This time I mean it"
"What do you want?"
"I want us back, I miss you"
"What?"
"You cheated on me and didn't feel remorse about it, You gaslighted me and treated me like shit, like I didn't mean anything to you, You even tried to get me pregnant without my consent, And then you show up and say sorry and you expect me to be happy? I just want to make this clear, the next time you text me or try to reach out to me I'm gonna file a restraining order against you"
I rose to my feet tugging my black denim jacket from the back of my chair, As I tossed it over my shoulder. I Left him with my half cup, it's pale rim stained with my maroon lipgloss as I strolled for the exit
